chaos is my ultimate favourite. Right from the beginning he had mysterious origins, yet hints were constantly provided, such as his being able to easily combat Gnosis, pilot machines no human could handle, as well as all of his abilities have angelic and ethereal qualities. Then when his true name was revealed at the end of Xenosaga 2, his character became even more interesting, especially to those familiar with Christian mythology. He's a powerful, but gentle soul.

nice to see how this was the basis for the sight sequences in xenoblade 2/torna
