Honestly knowing that Margulis has had his life been a lie, but the only thing that keeps him going is one final fight with Jin, and then THIS BGM kicks in, made the fight really memorable. (Until i died and had to do it again lol). I kinda wish Muhmkhar as a rival to Dunban in xenoblade 1 was like anywhere near as good as this, but they just made him simply a bad guy.
@@MasakanSolaris good point. Come to think of it, everyone was a tragic mess. Imagine living your life for a cause you put everything in for, only to learn that you have been, from the very start a disposable pawn and that all you can cling to is a final fight with a rival who at the same time, you know deep inside is one of if not the only one who truly understands you. Maybe thats why he could never let go of his beef with Jin. He knew he and Jin were pretty much on the same side of the coin.
@@NerdOnGaming i agree man. i remember playing this back all the way in 2007 and kept dying over and over because i chose to keep saving up for anima level 3 specials. i replayed the game 9 years later in 2016 out of boredom and found that using a strategy similar to yours was way way better and less stressful. another problem for me was the kevin fight hahaha
@@SteelRims yeah this one is worth to replayed although it’s kinda hard to finished 🤣🤣, many bosses are too hard to defeat like the bonus dungeon bosses, i had to keep grinding and leveling, but still hard to defeat 🤣
By the way, is there any equipment you can find or buy which will reduce the damage you get from Blazing Judgement? It seems to one shot certain characters even if they are adequately leveled or have good stuff on them.
@@NerdOnGaming I see. The creators of the game did a damn GOOD job of making ES Levi and Kevin have all the final boss vibes and difficulty. These two final fights are the real problem you have to deal with and grind for prior to reaching this part of the game. Zarathustra was more of a story boss. Still challenging but is nothing compared to Levi and Kevin's battles.
The shop right outside his door next to the save point, if you don't have it already, there is an 1/2 guard (not 100% sure of exact name, it has guard in the title) you can equip to your ES. Whenever you see that Margulis is readying his special attack use "charge" before his next turn. It will buffer the attack.
One of gaming's absolute best boss fights.
Agreed. Very memorable.

Margulis should have redeemed himself by fighting with them against Wilhelm.
@@SteelRimsNo by this point he was far too broken. All of them were.

@@SteelRims He wanted a warriors death and committed sempaku. He didn't want to be finished off and died with pried in his own sense of the truth.
Best fight of the series
Right 👍
i never thought that the real trick to getting rid of the vajra armor is to simply spam level 1 awakening attacks.
Awakening level 1 use only 1 anima gauge so i can use it many times to crack vajra armor faster

I don't think so, just buy the best equipment in the newest shop, and always heal when the hp reduced

@@SteelRims exactly, you are forced to play well because you can't spam erde kaiser sigma like in the final boss
