- I forgot about this video I recorded off my PS2 and archived in my HDD dusts it off
Its not a bad game, my major gripe about it is that its pacing's a little slow though.
Granted, this is not a well done tech demo at all IMO, there were a lot of misses in there.
I love the Klonoa and Guntz unit combination, its very versatile, Kos-Mos is a boss killer unit, and the main characters are quite well balanced. Strider's pretty cool too. The male ninja team with Guy and the other ninja (I think the name's Shou or something o_O) is very strong if you exploit a 2 cycle combo loop (not shown here).

Oooh, yes! It's good to see Dimitri and Strider Hiryu again! They still rock the hands off a clock, and they even got to keep their theme songs too. :-D

This has to be 1 amazing Namco X Capcom MA video! The music for each character or team was cool! Pity you forgot to include Morrigan & Lilith.
I recognized that battle music as soon as KOS-MOS came out lol

They also made Endless Frontier, which also basically has the same gameplay. And that one was released in America.

This could be th beginning of the sequel of both TxSF and SFxT. Cuz remember, before MvC, there was X-Men vs Street Fighter.

@boxthing3 That is actually Ginzu the Ninja (Sho in JP) from Captain Commando. He does look a lot like Hanzo Hattori though lol.
Klonoa could have been a great char for Brawl.

Even though the graphics were "poor", it doesn't stray from the fact that this game had a good gameplay

I remember there being a big fan effort to translate this game... I wonder if that ever got anywhere... especially with the sequel on the way...

Actually there is a full (not 100% accurate and proper grammar, but it works) fan translation of the game by TransGen. I have the ISO with English patch and so far it's living up to my expections.

you know what i noticed...its that they didn't put the people from Captain Commando(well besides sho but the rest im talkin about) i mean c'mon they were great and that one big buff guy from final fight can't think of his name atm

I see where SRT: endless frontier get their battle system from... (for those who don't know, it is something like this for the DS so far only the 1st one got released... w8ing for the 2nd one >.
That's really all you can do. Just do attacks with the O and directional buttons with the occasional push of the Triangle button for specials.
This looks GREAT!! A very unlikely pairing turned into a cool game! This should have had a proper release in the U.S.!

@nokion It's Sakura's theme from Street Fighter. I always liked it. I've wanted to play this game for so long...but now that Street Fighter IV is out there, I'm waiting for Street Fighter vs. Tekken. Even Street Fighter vs. SoulCalibur would be cool ^_^
wow i see most of your chars are pretty well balanced unlike my chars xD, i just finished this game today and almost every character was between 53 - 48 and and a few between 40- 45, i must say that i overpowered kos-mos she was in level 58 xD
and yes it's a pretty good game but long as fuck xD

mostly because there were a lot of characters in there from old capcom and namco games that were never released in the usa. regardless i still think they should have released it.
Same here man. its sad that its not a fighting genre which lets me a full control at the characters.but at the same time i wish this game were in NA.
Project x zone will catch the attention of gamers. I know people who will buy the 3ds just to get this game. I can't wait.

With kosmos they could've also add chaos and ziggy or jr and shion. Shion and Kosmos combo works every game.

You forgot Psikyo, they made a game with psikyo also. called Taisen Net Gimmick: Capcom & Psikyo All Stars.

@ladiesman4009 prolly financial reasons (eg translation and re-dubbing all the voices would have cost way way too much money). Which is too bad, because this would be awesome to play. Oh well though I guess.

I don't think thats the reason.The reason is there was to much licensing to be done and after paying for all the voice actors and translations not many people would have bought it because alot of the characters were japan only also

sweet baby Jesus! I could have really used this on my Ps2. My goodness :O this would go well with my JRPG collection. Though Japan usually saves its coolest games for themselves Q. Q reason why my wii is a door stop ._.
Because there are more kinds of games other than fighting games. Not saying that fighting games are bad, but some people are just too close-minded.
