    I like the idea/technique of not coloring/painting in everything you sketched. By selecting certain items to add color to and leaving the rest uncovered adds some excite to to the work. I really enjoyed hearing and seeing what you did and why. Great class. Thank you.

One of the many things I so appreciate about your teaching style is that you are always experimenting in your OWN art and then sharing that process with all of us. It keeps it so fresh and fun.     I love seeing your process. I tend to fill in the outlines of my subjects, but seeing this is encouraging me to be a lot looser. As you say, the brain will fill in the rest. Your results are so expressive and vibrant! Thanks for this video Ohn Mar. 👍

    I just love hearing your thought process as you’re painting along - all makes perfect sense! It really is amazing how little you need to detail or outline for your brain to fill in the blanks so to speak! I also love how you don’t overwhelm your paintings by leaving some parts ‘unpainted’ or white - so effective! I’m a big fan - Thx for sharing with us… xx

I have always been intimidated by how to make watercolor paintings more realistic and in this video not only the colored pencil technique but also you said that our brains could work out what's going on which help me understand drawing, painting, and art creation better.

    This was an amazing video, yes I would love to see more like this one. I was recently in Paris with my husband and took photos of the farmers markets. I can't wait to try and do something similar in my sketchbook.

      Lol it’s like a roll up pencil holder that had been adapted so it could be tied around her waist like a apron. Look out another video about these luminance pencils I’m posting in a few days. I’ll swatch them and will include a mini tutorial about how I use them in a landscape

    This is such a fabulous video. I have watched it several times. How did you decide whether to use pencil crayon or brush pen, when adding lines?

      The best way to explain is the quality of line I want - the brush pens are very precise and deep values. Whilst the color pencil are a little softer
