I own an R1S and pretty happy about all storage and room for passengers. Rivian is almost 10” longer than this and 3rd row has decent legroom and plenty of headroom (no slopey roof).

I ended up leaving my 2017 Tesla MX 100D at the Kia dealer and driving home in my new EV9 GT, Ocean Blue with brown/black 6-seater interior, gorgeous. I never thought I would own a Kia. So warning to all, if you go and test drive the new EV9 you should be prepared to bring it home.

This is nice, what I want is a Compact SUV size. The Ioniq 5 and EV6 are too small - low ride height and low ceilings, like bloated hatchbacks. This EV9 is now three row and goes up a couple of steps. The most popular car segment in America is the Compact SUV: they need to produce EVs the size of the Tucson or Sportage.
This will probably have a fairly large battery pack. Probably 130 KWh. Looks great though. They really need to find a way to build it in the US to get the tax credits.

I'll like to be like a person in the sci fi movies like in Total Recall, Blade Runner, Cyberpunk, Demolition Man, Robocop, and Terminator. I want no more gas powered stuff and old fashioned way stuff. The old fashioned way stuff should become the things in the past. There should time for me and everybody to move on.

I wouldn't say anything about this beast is beautiful, but it is interesting and modern. It is better to look at than the typical breadbox Tahoe or Expedition. Hey, its a gigantic people mover, which is very popular in N.America. Every manufacturer, including Hyundai Group, seems hellbent on pumping out new gas models in this segment. Thankfully, Hyundai is addressing this market with a BEV, Perhaps a full-sized pickup truck on this stretched platform could make it profitable. We'll have to see if they sell it in numbers large enough to make a dent.
I own a niro ev 2019 and i know kia does`nt resolve their bugs. I bet the line assist will wave from right to left and the 12V battery will be too small.

What’s the dealer mark up going to be on this? One reason I plan to stay away from Kia. Dealers are already the worst, then they jack up the price of the car.

No rear wiper without the flair out that the EV6 has isn't going to work well. It will be similar to what would occur with the Ioniq 5.
