2012 Ford Explorer Review - Kelley Blue Book
ฝัง

- With its fifth generation Explorer Ford has taken the proverbial left turn. Goodbye body-on-frame architecture, hello car-like unibody. Ford stills bills the Explorer as an SUV but in many ways it's become something of a crossover, trading ruggedness for efficiency and comfort.

Kelley blue book is far more entertaining than consumer reports
that tumble micah did into the back row should be a new benchmarking test
KBB hit the jackpot hiring mica. luv this dudes reviews!
The explore is the best. I am getting a sport at the end of the month
I love my 95 Bronco, with 227 miles, it's still going strong! But, my thumbs are shot & opening the doors was a literal pain. Putting the tail gate up was getting the best of me... Decided to stay with Ford & went with a 2012 Explorer. I wanted comfort, mileage, etc. Wish it was on a truck frame & a little taller, but it's a nice "retirement" ride. A new Bronco is coming out next year!!!
+1for that roll and general Micah goodness
i love this car i love kbb i have been waiting for this review long ago when i opened it first thing i did was a like before even seeing the vedio you are great people kbb
KBB HAS THE BEST REVIEWS ever!!!
Excelente. Tienen pruebas off road de este carro?. Como es su comportamiento en off road. Gracias.
Ford is doing well now a days ! they are trying to be best in class in every segment ... Ford will be American pride again !after 2010's revolution they are just GREAT ... Thanks to Mr.Mulally
@Slacking02. Both cars were developed while Land Rover was Ford owned and they share platform, engine and traction control. Body panels are different, but they do look similar. However they did not copy the Evoque. They just developed the 2 cars at the same time. They are two interpretations of the same platform. Which by the way, it's Ford's. Pop the hood of a gasoline Evoque and you will see a 2.0 Ecoboost from Ford.
Your Toyota Highlander video is a good one
I noticed the Sport has 20 inch wheels...do we ever reach a point where wheels are actually too big and look a bit goofy? I'm not saying the Explorer looks bad with the 20's (haven't seen it) but the Edge looks like a lunar space rover with the big rim option.
Looks good
i like it, looks great
I like the Explorer but it was kind of pricey, even with a family member providing the discount. I ended up going with a Chrysler product for quite a bit lower payment and a similar type of vehicle.
Well guess what, chrysler's break down and you will soon regret not getting the explorer
what if i want to work at kbb what university shouldi go to iam in egypt and i finished my high school this year heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp
Good clip
Q Za Agreed!
It's not a bad looking vehicle, but it's built on the Taurus frame. car frame used for an SUV doesn't end well. Lots of body roll on windy roads and you have to mash the gas to get her going on hills. Drove the same windy road in a Jeep Grand Cherokee and was much more impressed with the Cherokee's performance.
It looks way better than the old one
Personally, I miss my '94 Explorer. I test drove one of these guys and I felt that my old one rode better, then again it had been years since had driven it, its not in a junkyard. And when I look at this, I don't see any Explorer looking likes, just doesn't inspire me. :-(
looks good
I like it.
This explorer is a Crossover in every sense of the word.
no heated seats?
It has heated and cooled seats. ;)
explorer is a great vehicle. not as truck like as the one we have (1998 xlt 4wd) however its a lot more comfortable and id rather take this on a trip than ours.
@juschill7 a ton of folks in Oregon and Washington. These things are EVERYWHERE!!!
I still like my '98 4.0 Explorer SEL 4WD. With 89K and still looks and drives like new. Sure it's a second vehicle that my partner uses daily to buy the booze and lotto.
Cool
The inside looks nice and roomy
this looks wayyyy better than that Evoque.
I'm a walrus.
These vehicles are GREAT! Reliable... good Quality... KILLER STYLING!!!
Freedom Thank you just bought 1 at 2017 and everyone was dissing it but not presenting facts having someone else who agrees it's a reliable vehicle brings me joy.
It's carbon monoxide and broken electronics says otherwise plus, no, being a fake Range Rover shows you couldn't afford a real one. 😂
Why FWD? Is that a good ides in an SUV?? (No, I don't think it's a crossover. The Infiniti EX is a crossover.)
maybe because they need the utility.
an SUV is something built to go off road. A crossover is a minivan in SUV clothing that is focused on space and efficiency. This is truly a crossover, not an SUV.
explorer is best looking cuv in its segment..but it is plaqued with that horrible myford touch though they are still improving, lack of actual buttons and ofcourse the FORD not known to be one of the most reliable brand...those are the 3 things that are keeping me away from it sadly
O
2nd
Haha its funny cause ford used landrovers terrain reponse
Why didnt ford just stick with the 2010 model that model was alot better at offroading and kicked the shit out of asian and european crossovers
a range rover wannabe
increase in size,,, too much!
KBB does it again. Another outdated review and ho-hum who cares. When is the last time you heard of someone saying 'im gonna buy the new Explorer"
toyota fortuner 4.0 liter V6 is alot better and tougher than this ford explorer
