Amazing Video! Any template of fully build example on the incentives and structure? It would be super useful to have a base to start from

1 year clawback is kind of crazy in my humble opinion

What’s crazier is paying out commission on a customer that doesn’t stick around for at least a year (and will probably want a refund because they were oversold on what the product does.)

What do you use to track your compensation programs and incentives?

Just spreadsheets, but there are specialized tools for tracking commissions which you probably need if you have a lot of sales reps

50k in base salary for a sales person? Not joking, how do I find that job???

Start your job hunt on Linkedin perhaps?

I think it’s just the industry I’m in. Insurance sales, you start out with $25-30k/yr plus a couple hundred dollars commission per month for a couple years, then you leave. If you don’t leave, you go 100% commission, or you cough up 20-100k to start an agency/brokerage, or you leave the sales side. I’m hurting right now... trying to figure out which one of these I should do. None of them are particularly appealing, and none of them guarantee a positive career track.

I generate $3-4M and get $160K. Fuck this shit.
