  • Facebook ads and its algorithm has changed, and the learning phase does not play the same role as it previously did.

I only see "Active" on my campaign, adsets and ads. I have never been able to seen the Learning phase.
    Why is that?

Hmmm, not sure -- might have a different ads manger UI depending on your market

@@MarketHustleMy ad manager delivery column also never shows learning or leaning limited. It only shows active in delivery column so I am not able to find that my ad is in learning or not. I am running ads regularly from last 10 months and spent more than 10 lack rupee. Pls help how can I know my ad current status?

@@JaipurifabUntil last month it was like this for me but suddenly new ad sets in my account started to go into the learning phase. I guess they're pushing this feature in India only now, or this learning phase is applicable for old ad accounts only.

@@rehanahmad3497yes this has recently started to happen with me too!

So every conversion campaign ran on Facebook Ads has a "Learning Phase"? So once the algorithm is "trained" after the first 50 conversions, can one usually expect better all around results? (ie. lower cost per conversion, focused countries and platforms)

correct -- everyone, usually after this process CPA performance tends to stabalize

So if you're selling, for example, products for an ecommerce business and the price of the products are 25$ on average, you should be spending more than 25$ daily with the campaign budget?

If you are only getting 1 purchase a day, that will be real tough to ever scale -- I would try to aim for the budget that allows you to get at least 10-15 sales a day.

I am currently running ads for a high ticket item with a low daily budget optimized for conversions. Email Marketing isn't an effective way in the target audience. Would you suggest that I keep the campaign running without it ever exiting the learning phase or changing the campaign objective to something like traffic or something?

Try a different funnel, or optimize for a higher funnel event like a landing page view. High Ticket with low daily budget is not a good mix.

what happens if you make multiple changes within the first few hours?

You will keep resetting it -- not recommended. It's like turn on and off a car engine very fast, it does not help you get to your destination.

So 50 events total? Or 50 in one week? I am running a $100 daily budget broad adset, it gets stuck in Learning Limited after about 20-25 conversions. Problem is the performance drops in Learning Limited. Should I just let it run until it gets 50 total conversions? Right now I have been reseting the adset back from Learning Limited to Learning to keep the performance up.

I would consider increasing the daily budget to get enough data to exit, and then maybe throttling down the budget after, see if that works.
