The rocket chopper is actually the Chinese Harbin Z-9w, a licensed built militarized version of the Eurocopter AS365. I love World Peacekeepers vehicles and I wish they were more than just a seasonal thing.
I agree, it is a Harbin. It's a very good helicopter too. There are to variants that I've found, one with the underslung mount that you can place rockets on either side, and one without. My biggest regret of this is the fact that this mount is not easily removable, and if you do it is more or less permanent.

Always liked some of these vehicles, they work very well for GI Joe and add the realism that is many times needed with today's toys.
They're so much better than True Heroes! Really a gem of a line for realistic basic no frill toys that do the trick. I'm so glad you like them too!
UH-60s are snug fits in real life, so no worries on that front.

Ah, the AH-6 helicopter. I remember when someone first showed me the Power Elite one. I sought one out and bought it just so I could apply some Cobra decals to make it a Cobra copter to go against Joe ones.
Such fun. And it feels stout and tough. I love how cool the rotating rotors look in the vid! About the only cool visual in this vid so I'll take it. I'm glad your Cobra Airforce gets a more worthy "FANG II" in your collection...

These are the best kinds of vehicles. Just basic realistic vehicles with no compromises for silly action gimmicks that nobody wants.
And real world accuracy and rubber tires! My favourite kind of (non-action) features. Yeah, they're great. Thanks for the comment!
They're great for when you want real world troopers and vehicles accompanying Joe.
If someone has a few of those power team elite vehicles that they wouldn't mind *permanently changing*, a quick one over with a small paint sprayer and you've got blue or purple "Cobra" versions of those vehicles that can be added to Cobra's stock (since GI Joe seems to have two or three times as many vehicle types and like 6 full on "base" playsets to Cobra's lone base playset (and I'm not counting that awful cardboard Cobra missile base either).
The Blackhawks would be the easiest. A few red highlights and it’ll fit right in with a flight of FANGs!

@GI Joburg no sir, not the Harbin Z-9. I was referring to the tank you called a T-72 (Russian). It’s actually a Chinese ZTZ-99. Guess it makes sense since they’re a Chinese based toy company that they’d want to make a toy of their country’s main battle tank. 😊 I enjoyed the video man. Keep them coming!

So a couple months ago a friend asked if he could have a package sent to my house while he's away on vacation and it turned out to be a PTE F/A-18 Hornet. I babysat the box for a while. Man that thing was massive and looked like a million bucks. The figures are run of the mill Chinesey, but the thing itself is a beaut.
I’m gonna get controversial here and say the PTE Hornet has some issues I can’t overlook. They made it a two seater variant at the cost of the the thing’s proportions! The cockpit is dumpy and oversized as a result and a one-seater could have avoided this. But from the glass back that thing is terrific. Lovely paint effect, some customizable sticker options and I’d say a better missile system than the classic Joe equivalents. Those toys are tough and hardy and I’m a sucker for rubber tires.

@@gijoburg I take your word for it (I assume) Steve, I only ever looked at the thing in its box. Dude picked it up and I haven't even been to his place since. The Thunderbolt is more my style, and I did see on the back of the box that they have an SU27... Wonder if it's good. Couldn't tell from the box because they're not real pictures, just 3D drawing thingies.
The SU 27 has the best proportions of the lot. And I’d say PTE do the best A-10. Good jets. I meant to add that the Flanker is a textbook example of shrinking the scale of a jet to make it more play-friendly; without hurting the proportions like the Hornet. Very adulterous indeed. But I like my lines sharp and tight.

Unfortunately, like a dumb person, I didn't know they had a lot of these toys until just recently. I have the Blackhawk and the aerial missile helicopter but then the holidays were over and they quiet selling a lot of them. I have also been collecting some vehicles from toy's r us. They are closing all stores in the USA so they have some nice deals on their military vehicles. As for the trip, I will be messaging you guys very soon to see if we can set up a meeting. That would be so cool.

One time me and my freind were making a stop motion on the beach and we were up to the A10 scene and we kept mucking it up so it took some time then a guy came along and said he flew the A10 we were more than interested but didn’t have much time as it was about to storm… it was great that he seemed interested in what we were doing but would have wanted to talk flying story’s 😂

When did they discontinue GI Joe action figures and toys I 'm lost.
Thought I had seen stuff in store 5 years ago at a KB toys store before it went out ? But not now I checked out a closing toys R us awful toys there .

No new Joe product for like two years now. Apparently Hasbro needs a major motion picture backing the toys in order to peddle them! So it'll be 2020 before we see new Joes. Thank goodness we got old ones.
The GI Joe section of the Hasbro Website is presently empty and the Collector's Club is doing its Final Twelve figures atm as Hasbro has refused to renew their license. I can't find the rip-offs at Wal-mart or Target either.

Biggest regret of the A-10 is that it's cockpit seat is narrow, you can't fit any modern figures with holsters easily.
The sky striker and Fa Hornet belong together and I do intend to display them as so and Gi Joe even in the comics should have been using other services military support!
Sure, Joe was an elite force. Even spec ops need regular forces to back them up.

These are much better than Soldier Force. Basic. But very tastefully done and accurate in design. Good construction with rubber tires and glassed-in windows. And you're bang on about the mics and close ups. I just wanted to hammer this one out nasty and quick!!!

Where did you get the Flanker and the A-10? Ive been trying to find one forever! The toy stores I have found in Europe that have it will not ship it. I even tried to open a wholesale account with M &C Toys having to buy 5 tanks 10 planes and like 20 humvees. Then they figured out i was not a toy store
I tried the same thing with M&C Toys. Those models are absurdly scarce. I got lucky, my local toy store in Townsville, Australia had them. I’ve also seen them in China and Ireland but not in the last five years. The quest to find more is ongoing. And infuriating!

I did not, but I do have a Chap Mei missile truck that has a flat bed I think a MOBAT might fit into. I must check!

ALL of them are compatible with classic Joe and they are made by M&C Toy Center Ltd in Hong Kong. Hope you can get your hands on them; they are terrific at the right price.

@@therealaaroncollins6486 aha! Well that plane is made by a different company, based in China. It’s called Chap Mei and the toyline is currently branded as “Sentinel 1”. That plane is called the AB-115 Shark.

i have an embarrassing admission to make. i held off watching this particular vid because i knew u had all the cool shit and i can't for the life of me find these things at any reasonable pricing. they are extremely rare in my neck of the woods in the usa. i snagged the missile wing copter and the humvee with the grenade gunner....ur vid is nothing but awesome sauce man...u guys are one the best things on the net....but this was painful watching u flaunt some of those of beautiful planes!!!!!!!!!!!!
