It was this chopper that really got me into collecting G.I Joe. I had a few figures as a kid but wasn't that into it. But I loved this vehicle when I saw it in Toys R Us and had to have it.
I love this chopper! It's been alluding me for all these years and commands quite odd pricing. Sometimes I see it going for 60 and that incomplete, sometimes 100. Still waiting for the reasonable seller out there that sells it for 40. Fingers crossed 🤞. Overall it's a great chopper. You know me brother! I'm a sucker for lights and sounds. Especially when they're hidden well. I agree that some of the sounds should be louder. Seems kind of limp. Also, wish it was a bit wider. It could use a bit more room for the figures. I dig the crimson commander chopper as well. I really love the sculpt on that. I'm debating which version to get. Cobra could use some more air support. Great review buddy! Keep them coming!
I really don t like the electronics, time and weather ruins them. + in most cases, they fill some storage-fig space. like you, the blades kill the realism of this copter for me. I also kind of dislike the bottom mold-design with the side wheels. I agree also about the winch. I am impressed at the rocket mechanism, color scheme and weapons look fine, if a little too big. was nt there any fig included with that chopper? I would nt feel too good giving more than $40 for it. unless it s my final piece of the whole collection.

I have 2 of the Crimson command helicopters of this one. They are very nice. I never did find one in these colors.
