I absolutely LOVE how realistic you are. No false promises! also showing clients with damage is so refreshing, that's who is real hair dressers get! It educates me beyond just the color correction 🙃thanks again girl
This is reality color correction. Honest and to the point. There's gonna be some damage and breakage as you can only work with what you are given. Fantastic job!
OMG! Thank you so much for sharing this. I had a client years ago who neglected to mention that she had henna on her hair and we did a blonding service. I always heard that henna turned green but had never experienced it. Four inches of her hair turned out beautifully blond and the rest of the ten inches of her hair turned Moss seaweed green. I told her we could do go back to dark or cut her hair off. She was such a good sport and we gave her a fresh haircut and she had beautiful short blond hair.
I love that you always continue to learn in this career! Thank you for your kind words, they mean so much to me. I’m so happy to continue to put more out there when I know hairdressers love it
Hi Angela , iv been hairdressing 33yrs , & think this hairdresser is one of the best out there , no one ever taught me in such detail how to full head platnimum without the difficulties. This hairdresser is so open honest & explains so well
I love watching your videos. I’m still a new hairstylist. Every single time I watch your videos I find something new I’m going to try! I love the way tou explain everything! I was in college for 3 years learning hairdressing and they only teach you very basic stuff to get you through. I feel like I’ve learned more from your videos then I did in college! Thank you ❤
I am absolutely obsessed with your videos! You are super informative and honest! You've boosted my confidence so much, I am always so ashamed and terrified when hair breaks but I appreciate your truthfulness and accurate honest true expectations when attacking these color corrections! I can't wait to see more content!!
Thank you so much!! I’m glad you appreciate the honesty, it’s not easy to show flaws. It’s hard to open up to criticism online and teach but you all are so kind and make it so worth it
Thank you for letting people know how it really is! It’s annoying how some ppl think you can do what ever you want to hair with no damage. It’s their choice if they want to risk it then so be it. I mean what do ppl expect getting their hair lifted over and again 🤷🏻♀️
Yes! Damage happens! We can’t be unrealistic about it, but we can do our best to prevent further damage or unnecessary damage with proper education and tools!
I love that you're not afraid to show breakage and banding. It happens to every hairdresser eventually and I like seeing that it can happen to any hairdresser no matter how skilled they might be. I just found your channel a couple of days ago and I'm really impressed with your work, especially how quick you are. You've earned yourself a new subscriber.
Oh Gosh thank you!! Yes it’s really nerve wracking to post the reality of some situations but her result was so good and she was realistic about the risks! Thank you so much for the subscribe i really truly appreciate it
That looks SO amazing!! I love that you showed the breakage, now I don't feel like such a freak when I do my own highlights and get that angel hair pasta after the first wash lol.
Great technique and amazing results ! Thank you so much for sharing ! Very interested with the cool additive you added in the lightner ! Can’t wait to try this 👏👏and your technique ❤❤
beautiful work!! I am in hairstyling school and your tips and techniques are so helpful and wonderful to learn! Thank you for uploading. please continue uploading colour corrections
I am loving your videos. Found your page via the Brad mondo video and your knowledge is super helpful for my own work. Thank you so much for the free education and beautiful hair!
Gaaahhhh! I love this SO MUCH! I did a color correction a while ago and it was a first session. I left out the roots and used clay lightener to be as gentle as possible. Well, she hates it. Even though I told her and we discussed everything we were doing. I plan on doing her 2nd session with all I’ve learned from you! (If she comes back) 😢
Went to subscribe and I already was haha! I knew the name sounded familiar. And I love how you spoke on the time and effort you put in these videos. Thank you so much :) I just started my salon job the beginning of this month after graduating cosmetology school last month and the way you explain things throughout your videos makes learning so much easier for me :)
As you do so many color corrections, would you recommend lifting with lightener and adding a Demi red or using a permanent color to lift and tone? Say level 6 auburn was the goal and level 5 virgin hair. Assume the client would want to go blonde in the future
God I wish I could do my hair like this. I'm having such a hard time bringing my blonde up and toning it. My toner keeps coming out dark instead of a light ashy color
Can you do a video on schwarzkopf color line? Like what the numbers mean and the differences of the igora royal, tbh, igora vibrance and whatever else they have. I’m a little confused
Igora Royal is the permanent line. This is subdivided in several other lines like the absolutes (100% greyblending), high lifts, silver whites, fashion lifts (lift + toning at the same time). TBH is also a permanent line but is less opaque as the royal, meaning it won't fully cover grey. Vibrance is their demi-line and comes now in a liquid form. The numbers are before the dash are the level numbers. Anything behind that is the tonality of the color. 0 = natural, 1 = ash, 2 = cendré, 3 = matte ash, 4 = beige, 5= gold, 6= chocolate (warm brown), 7 = copper, 8 = red and 9 = violet. These numbers are all the same throughout all the lines.
I love your videos, i dont know if you do extensions but i am looking to do kind of highlight but on blond extension and i cant find a video if one day you do this i would love to watch it 🙂
Her before looks like my hair. I really need a toner/ fix to cancel out the orange. Can u include where & whst salon ur at? It'll be great if ur in my city.
Came across your channel a few hours and enjoying your videos l. Not a hair stylist, just find this satisfying and an incredible art. You are definitely gifted!
I have a question: how hard is it to go from black to blonde? I went to sally beauty supply store and bought two bleach packets and I have 20 and 30 volume developer. My hair is naturally medium to dark brown and I dyed it back two weeks ago. And then when my hair is long enough I want to get a perm. What would you suggest or recommend?
Hello licensed cosmetologist here(: So for dyed hair, you will likely require more than 1 session at the hair salon in order to have an evenly blonde hair. Darker hair colors have the most orange tones to them which is why black hair turns into an orange/brassy color after bleaching. If you recently dyed it black I would wait until all the color strips out after you wash it out for about a month or so. Keep in mind if you do dye your hair blonde in a month or longer your roots will be lighter then the rest because the rest of your hair was dyed. Two weeks is still soon to start dying it blonde. Now if you want a perm on blonde hair I would not recommend that. The chemicals in the perm are very strong if your hair has already been processed. If you perm over bleached hair your hair will most likely break and feel stretchy.
I appreciate that you show the trouble spots and imperfections. I am always critical of my colors and thinking of how I could have done better. I am trying to also focus on what I like about the color I did. I like the 2 stars and a wish practice you do. I will definitely be doing that from now on.
I absolutely LOVE how realistic you are. No false promises! also showing clients with damage is so refreshing, that's who is real hair dressers get! It educates me beyond just the color correction 🙃thanks again girl
Thank you! Sometimes I want to do the easy thing and just pretend the bumps in the road don’t happen but it’s not helpful to anyone to pretend that
I love how much explaining you do!! Finally someone who doesn’t fast forward through the important parts!!
Thank you!!
Spot on 👍

I really find all of these fascinating. I'm not a hairdresser and don't even dye my own hair, but this is just entrancing.
Oh my God, I have been a hairdresser for 31 years!,, the best tutorial ever!, I still need and love new techniques, Thank you, Angela

This is gorgeous. If I wanted to achieve this from virgin hair would I ask for a full head of highlights with a root tap?
Yes!
Great tutorial topic!

Hello, dear friend, do you use the Rangmo brand, can you tell me? Which color did you add the most and is it the original color?
Amazing work! 😍 Doesn’t the bleach eat out the additives you mix in or is that made for use with that particular branded product?
Cool additive is actually made for this particular use!
Amazing 🤩
Awesome tutorial!
