I just bought the 2024 Outlander ES, Silver color. Despite this being the lowest trim level of the Outlander, this was by far the best car buy of my life. Paid a modest 34.5K after taxes. It has way more power than our 2017 Nissan Rogue (which we also love), and despite having fabric seats, there is still an ample amount of leather in the interior. Despite lowest trim level, it still seems like luxury car. Also, very smooth and quiet ride. In terms of exterior looks, it turns heads.

You have to appreciate it for what it’s is… I have a 2024 Outlander SEL… rides well, inside is very nice, 5 year bumper to bumper warrant and 10 yr power train.. super affordable as well… I don’t keep cars for more than 5 years so this seems perfect to me! I like it and have enjoyed it so far.

Just like the previous version of the Outlander, you can adjust the first and second row to create more usable leg room for the third tow. I am average height (5'7 - 7'9). With average sized passengers in the 2nd row, we were able to fit an average sized adult in the 3rd row.
Otherwise, I like your review. Other car reviewers are too snobbish. Most us do not drive Lexus and Infinitis!

I bought the 2024 SE and very happy about it. Where can you find a 100% made in Japan SUV for that price? The selling point on owning an SUV that is made entirely in Japan. They were made to last 300 ++ thousand miles. My Camry has 350 T. I believe it will go over 400 T. My husband's XTERRA 1999 went over 300 T before the transmission gave out..

It is direct injection. It is a Nissan engine. I believe it is the same one used in the Altima. It gets great mileage but definitely not a sports car. Switching into Tarmac mode does make a difference in performance and handling, but it can knock 3-5 mpg off of the mileage.

Also, I thought was very disappointing was that there is no button to open up your garage door like on some model similar to this one and the rearview mirror there is a button to open up your garage door. I think they want you to use your phone get into your app and then open up your garage door. This is ridiculous.

READ BEFORE YOU BUY! When it comes to the the mi pilot assist. You have to have it in cruise for it to activate and keep you centered. Then everytime you switch lanes via turn signal it will beep at you when you enter the other lane and it locks on to the lines again. So left turn signal, switch lanes, locks on with green steering wheel lit... BEEP. Then pass the car and go back to the right lane, locks on.... BEEP. No where to turn that off and super annoying with no volume control either. Also, when the Mi Pilot active you can't turn off the alarm for when you drift to a line on either side. This is usually the persons doing over the assist but it will give you a BEEP BEEP, BEEP BEEP when that happens and you can't turn that off either. So if those types of alarms bother you then this is not the car for you. I like my previous car which was a Hyundai and I could have the steer lane assist on all the time, cruise or no cruise and shut the annoying sounds off. I regret buying this car because of this...

This competes with the RAV4, CR-V, Tuscon, Sportage, Rogue, and the Tiguan, the HP and Torque is inline with it's competitors, it's even slightly quicker than the Tuscon with a 1.6 Turbo and a DCT transmission when PDriveTV tested both which is surprising considering that the Outlander is heavier, has a naturally aspirated engine and a CVT, yes more power is a welcome, wish they could add the Rogue's new 1.5VCT Inline-3.
