There are so many misconceptions about this amplifier
firstly it gives full 100W only at 24v
secondly its 100w at 2 ohm
at 3 ohm output is 83w and at 4 ohm its 75w
basically every amplifier have same logic of impedance that's why they mentioned on the backside all of amplifiers.
in this amplifier datasheet of (tpa3116d2) clamming 100 watt of output. in certain condition if 24 volts as a input (power supply) and 2 ohm as a output load (mean woofer/ speaker) so you may get 100 watt. if you are using high impedance woofer/ speaker like 3,4,8...ohm your output power is less as you mentioned.

Very nice video sir, plz ye bataden k me is k sat 10" subwoofer 150watts- 4.ohm attach kar sakta hon? kiyon k iss amplifier shayed 100 watts ka he... or agar hum 10" 150watts- 8.ohm use karen to kiya ye amplifier ki i.c damage ho jayegi. sir plz plz reply me.

sir, mene iss device k sat 10" subwoofer 200wats attached kiya he or 24.volt and 3 ampare adaptor se supply de he. sir problem ye arehe he k volume increase karne par device jo red indicator light he wo blink kar rahi he kabhe halki hoti he kabhe tez. or subwoofer se bhe thori thori der bad pop sound (dhoom dhoom) ata he. sir kiya mujhe ziyada ampare ka adaptor use karna chaye? or kitne ampare ka use karon? plz sir give me suggestions. because you always helped me.
24 volts se voltage ko thora kam kren 19-22volt tak or amplifier k ic pe heatsink lagaen hopefully it will work

walikum salam jesa k ap ne btaya ha k ap k pass 100watt ka amplifier ha ager to 100 watt total output ha to ap main speaker 50watt +50 watt laga len or surround speaker 20 watt should be enough for your amplifier. or ager ap k pass amplifer ki manual ha to us me watt ka b likha ho ga.

how we can use this amp with 2 speakers?
this amplifier is only for subwoofer if you have to connect two subwoofer then you have to make a series or parallel connection, but make sure total impedance is 2-4 ohm not more or less. and if you have to use speaker then use different audio amplifier for speakers watch my other videos for audio amplifiers.

Because i saw a new board online its almost the same design but the chip is TPA 3116 can u explain to me about the two chips. Thanks and I really appreciate if u answer my question. If amplifier 3.5 mm stereo input is feeded with mono plug. Output power goes to half?
No dear either way you get full output. But some music have stereo effect some time all music goes left or Right side. So that's why you need to be connect stereo plug. This amplifier is bridge amplifier it means their is two amplifier connect in parallel to get more output.
@@techtherapy296 I planned to use this amplifier with the low signal (LFE) output of my home theater receiver which is mono. For best results I should use a converter for feed the signal in both input channels or in this case is the same to use only one channel?
@@enriqueduarte1943 its out put channel is same but input is stereo its merging both left and right signal and filter bass only.

You can use 2ohm impedance of both woofers and joint in series total impendance is 4 ohm
Power supply voltage range 21-22volts max for safety of amplifier you can also use 24volts but i cannot recommend

No dear there is no distortion, maybe at full volume if woofer size is small or low wattage

Yes my woofer is custom build its just 8 inch, 70 watt with low at 30hz frequency response and for my house this is enough for me.
If you use 12 inch woofer then you may get 20 hz frequency response, my suggestion you use more then 10 inch woofer for deep bass with 4 ohm impedance 100 watt or more.
@@techtherapy296 bro as a keralite our parents doesnt love sound system if you want to buy a thing get yourself money buy what you want coming to the point if i want to buy 12 inch subwoofer it new more money for enclosure also i need money hardly it cost 5000rupees to make subwoofer. now i am using pot for bass. If i made a subwoofer they will ask only one question .what is the benefit you get from making subwoofer 😂😂😂😂? So as a low budget i am intended to use 8 inch subwoofer .Anyway this is a long comment that explains current situation before buying amplifier and custom built enclosure anyway thanks bro
What is the proper input voltage for this sir ?
According to my calculations if you use 24 volts PSU and with 4 ohm impedance speaker you may get around 72 watt
Or if you use 19 volt PSU with 4 ohm impedance speaker you may get 45 watt output
Use laptop adapter with 18-19v 4.75a to give you 90w
