honestly my EPQ was so worth it. I felt like crying when doing it but it taught me a lot: organisation skills, reflection, resilience, writing and research. I feel like as long as you do a subject that you're really passionate about you can do it! Like it doesn't matter if it doesn't "sound" smart, I know people who did it on drug cartels and things like that and it turned out great. It's all about the skills and enjoying the process at the end! I also found it a easy subject to bring up in medical interviews ( I had two this week and managed to bring it up like 4 times haha)
This is such a great point, thanks for sharing 🥰 there is so much you can learn from EPQ! I guess it depends on the person who may find it helpful or not, but I'm glad you found it useful 💕
Yo, I know I’m a bit late to ask but if I want to do economics and maths at uni is an EPQ worth taking alongside Maths, Further maths and Economics since I’m thinking of dropping politics
In that case EPQ would act as an addition way to showcase your essay writing skills, it also helps you stand out because many people do English Lit, History etc but less people do EPQ.
Hey I know I am late but could you tell me if I could do it all within 1 year, I was going to start it at the beginning of next year because my teachers said it's a good idea as I dropped sociology and wouldn't have enough ucas points off of two topics even if I got both A*'s. Is this achievable? Btw I am going into year 13 next academic year.

If your being honest, is an epq necessary for someone who wants to do medicine at uni???
No it’s not essential ❤️
EPQ does give you a lower offer for medicine at some unis tho x
So u mentioned epq might be worth it for essay based degrees, but what if the a levels ur doing are also essay based?
In that case EPQ would act as an addition way to showcase your essay writing skills, it also helps you stand out because many people do English Lit, History etc but less people do EPQ.
Thank you💕
No probs 🤗

Yeah I think it’s possible! Since you’ve got 2 subjects you’ll have more free time and it’ll give you the extra points you need :)
Alright tysmm
