When possible I lap threads in before installing Ti hardware. It greatly reduces issues in the future. But thats always been on aircraft. always use a tq lube tho.
How was the steering effort after you installed it? Do you plan on reproducing some of the stuff you made to sell to others who want to do the conversion?

You just need the pinion portion of spyder rack

Is the depowered rack a better setup than the traditional manual rack?
I was wanting a quicker ratio than could be had with the manual rack.
