In a review of the Order of the Phoenix book, Stephen King hailed Umbridge as one of the best antagonist he has ever read: “The gently smiling Dolores Umbridge, with her girlish voice, toadlike face, and clutching, stubby fingers, is the greatest make-believe villain to come along since Hannibal Lecter.” 😈
Michael did exponetially better this time around about spoiling. I mean, he definitely still spoiled some things, but i could tell he was actively trying to contain himself this time around and i appreciate that. Also proud of Kristen for speaking up at one point and telling him not to spoil it for her.
23:20 I LOVE how Maggie Smith(RIP) played this scene. The way McGonagall spat out the word "disloyalty" showed that she wanted to go OFF on Umbridge but held her tongue out of respect for both Dumbledore and the ministry.
I personally think she's worse than Voldemort. At least with Mr. Riddle, you know what you're getting. Umbridge is the type to say one thing while doing the complete opposite in the most sickly sweet manner.
@@joshj1818Voldemort is worse. I might have a chance in a wizard duel with Unbridge, if I were a wizard. Tom would wreck me Personality wise? She's definitely more annoying. Honest, if I got killed by her I'd be super annoyed with myself
Voldemort is powerful but not as powerful as Dumbledore... it's the fear that makes people afraid of Voldemort. The only other wizard who can stand toe to toe with Dumbledore is Grindelwald.
The full Prophecy made by Trelawney is this: “The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. Born to those who have thrice defied him. Born as the Seventh month dies. And the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal. But he shall have the power the Dark Lord knows not. And either must die at the hand of the other, for neither can live while the other survives.”
Thank you! Notably, the description of the one botn to vanquish the dark lord fit both Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom but Voldemort marked Harry as the one. It could have easily been Neville! That makes Neville's character growth even more awesome and his role towards the end more satisfying.
@@karmehedyeah this is true, I hate how popular that misinformation has spread, I see it on every Harry Potter reaction. The director muted and slowed it because he wanted it to be operatic.
@@MR.Z1991nah I think it was a nod to when Sirius and James used to battle together. He obviously knows Harry isn’t James, and I don’t think it meant he thought the way you say he did. It was a moment of nostalgia for Sirius and he said the first thing that came to mind, which was his friend.
@MR.Z1991 I don't look at it like that. Harry is always told how how he looks like his father (aside from his eyes) and having Harry at his side during the wand battle with the Death Eaters must have been reminiscent for Sirius like the battles he use to have with James.
Except he spoiled nothing. He pointed out things that are extremely obvious and she had figured out all of them before he even opened his mouth. Some things are just not hard to figure out.

Don't know if anyone else has mentioned this, but Neville can see the thestrals too. The movies don't tend to contradict the books, but often fail to mention things. In the movie Neville never says whether or not he can see them, but he does see them in the books.
If you ever saw Imelda Staunton who plays Dolores Umbridge in the movies in interviews you see what a genious job she did. She deserved an Oscar for that depiction
@@RBernsCarter The scene with the feathers made her feel absolutely terrible. By the way, filming in Potter is not her only collaboration with Daniel Radcliffe. She had previously worked with him in the 1999 film adaptation of David Copperfield, which also starred Zoe Wanamaker and Maggie Smith
Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job playing a character who was more hated than the story's main villain. The fact that Umbridge was more hated than Voldemort himself makes the scene where she gets carried away like firewood by the centaurs that much more satisfying. When I first saw Grawp, I thought he looked like the illustrated kid on the cover of MAD Magazine, Alfred E. Neuman. Also.... Cornelius Fudge, after seeing Voldemort: He's back.... Me, sarcastically: *Gee, if only someone said that the previous year and at the hearing. Oh, wait....*

I still go this day get emotional at the scene of Harry telling Sirius about his fears of becoming bad and Sirius telling him that we all have light and dark in us, but that it’s what we choose to act on that makes us who we are. At that time in my life my mother was fighting cancer and I was having problems with school and like Harry I just felt angry all the time because I couldn’t help with anything. But my mom had the same strength and warmth that Sirius had. It’s also the scene that Daniel Radcliffe said he was the most proud of filming because he truly gave it his all that day.
Just wanted to say that I’m really enjoying going through this journey again with you guys. I’ve watched this movies several times before, but there’s just something special about seeing a long-term fan experiencing the silver screen treatment for the first time and someone becoming a fan of something that was so important during my childhood. Fun facts/book lore: While this is the longest book, the film is the second shortest. And before you come at me in the comments, this is all things that are not or barely mentioned in the films so these are NOT considered spoilers. Muggles can't see dementors but they can feel their presence. Mrs. Figg, Harry's neighbour, could see them because she's a Squib, which is a non-magical person who is born with at least one magical parent (kind of the opposite of a Muggleborn). Filch is also a Squib. It is revealed that Umbridge was the one who sent the dementors that attacked Harry and Dudley is cut from the film. Quidditch is entirely cut from the film. Kreacher the house-elf has a bigger part in the book. Dobby helps Harry discover the Room of Requirement, not Neville (it is also Dobby who gives Harry the Gillyweed in Goblet of Fire instead of Neville). Harry, Ron, and Hermione meet Neville's parents, who were tortured into insanity by Bellatrix, at St. Mungo's Hospital. They also see Gilderoy Lockhart who's memory is still severely damaged. The memory that Harry sees of his dad bullying Snape is longer and more detailed in the book. It's actually about Lily ending her friendship with Snape after he called her a Mudblood. So while James was still an asshole he was actually defending Lily. It's revealed that Professor Trelawney's prophecy about "The Chosen One" could have been about Neville as his birthday was also at the end of July. And, while I do agree with most people that it doesn't make much sense for the Dursleys to take Harry in when they clearly don't like him/hate him, there is something that is never explained in the films, so it's not really a spoiler and it's revealed in this book. Harry HAS to stay with the Dursleys because when Lily sacrificed herself she invoked an ancient and powerful spell in which her blood serves as protection for Harry against Voldemort. As her sister, Petunia, is her closest living blood relative, Harry is protected as long as he stays where she stays until the age of 17. Imelda Staunton doesn't get enough credit for her portrayal of Dolores Umbridge, one of the most despicable characters on film. Stephen King himself said that she was the greatest villain since Hannibal Lecter. Director David Yates described her as a splice between Doris Day and Freddy Krueger. It has also been noted by many fans, Imelda Staunton and even J. K. Rowling herself that she bears many similarities to the late British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Thatcher, similar to Umbridge, was minister for education, and was also known for being radical, harsh and in some cases extreme with her policies and methods in running the country. She made many changes that the public disagreed with (though ironically, she was the one to ban the cane in British schools) but she was also known for her soft approach when addressing the public. Umbridge's hairstyle even bears a resemblance to that of Thatcher. Furthermore, the power granted to Umbridge by Fudge to consolidate his political strength and squash his perceived enemies is not unlike the abuse members of the Nixon administration committed during the Watergate Era. In addition, Umbridge's final crimes are the "ethnic cleansing" of Muggle-born wizards, analogous to the Nazi persecutions leading to the Holocaust. J.K. Rowling has stated that Umbridge is LOOSELY based on a former teacher of hers. She chose the name to reflect her character. Her first name comes from the Latin word for sorrow or pain, "dolor". Umbridge is a play on "umbrage", which is offense or annoyance, and comes from the Latin word "umbra" (shade or shadow). The word usually appears in the phrase "to take umbrage". Umbridge is more hated than Voldemort because she's just so evil that you can't stand her. But they do share a lot of similarities: Being blood supremacists and half-bloods who despise their own race, holding negative emotions for their parents, holding positions of power, are feared by many wizards and witches and both left permanent scars on Harry. Fun little detail about Umbridge is that her clothing becomes darker shades of pink as she gains more and more power throughout the film. I have to say though, as a cat lover I am very offended by the portrayal of cat lovers in the book/film! Emma Watson was considering not returning for this film and honestly I'm not surprised. Aside from the insane amount of fame they had at this point, she was HEAVILY sexualised in the media as a teenager and British tabloids like The Sun and the Sunday Sport had a "countdown" to her 16th birthday (among other female celebrities). And on her 18th birthday, the paparazzi took photos up her skirt which were published the next morning. If they had published them 24 hours earlier they would have been illegal but because she had just turned 18 they were legal. Kristen brought up such a great point I hadn't thought of before about using the truth serum at the trial! I googled it and it says that Veritaserum, despite being the most powerful truth serum in existence, it can still be resisted through different methods, including the taking of its antidote and Occlumency (change your memory to resist its effects). J.K. Rowling said "Skilled wizards can avoid its effects by using antidotes and charms. A gifted Occlumens could also resist Veritaserum." For the same reasons polygraph tests aren't 100% reliable and cannot be used as definite proof of guilt or innocence, since some wizards and witches can resist its effects while others cannot. It's a truth serum in a sense that it makes you tell what you believe is the truth. Also, the ministry didn’t want the truth. Padfoot was Sirius' nickname (as he could turn himself into a dog who has soft fleshy pads on its feet) he used when he, Remus, James and Peter created the Marauders Map. It was also his nickname for the Order of the Phoenix. The fact that they didn't explain it but had Harry call him that understandably confuses a lot of people. Harry used it to tell Snape he was in danger and WHERE, and Snape pretended not to know anything, but he DID know and he is the one who alerted the order. Harry's scream when Sirius dies is said to have been muted because it was too agonising and actually caused Helena Bonham Carter, Emma Watson and Bonnie Wright to cry. However, some people think it was simply done to add a dramatic sense of numbness to the scene. There's also a popular belief that Dan's grandmother had just died so his reaction was real. But there's no proof of that. One of his grandmothers did, however, pass away in October 2008, a year after the film was released. Dan's other grandmother was still alive in 2016, as in interviews, he said he'd hate for her to have seen his film "Imperium" which came out that year. Harry's behaviour towards Cho in the film kinda pissed me off. In the book, they actually started a relationship and breaking up was a mutual decision. Cho was not tortured by Umbridge and forced to reveal, AGAINST HER WILL, where Dumbledore's Army was practising. It was Cho's friend Marietta Edgecombe who WILLINGLY leaked information to Umbridge. Btw in the scene where Harry tells Ron and Hermione about the kiss their laughing was improvised. J.K. Rowling said that Harry wouldn't have remembered his parents' death clearly enough because of him being just a baby at the time, but, unlike in the book, in the first film he sees Quirrell die. Because of this, he should've been able to see the Thestrals from his second year, but Thestrals hadn't been mentioned in the books at the time so the filmmakers wouldn't have known about the potential continuity error. It is not mentioned in the film that Nymphadora Tonks is also related to Sirius; she is the daughter of Andromeda Tonks, who is Bellatrix Lestrange and Narcissa Malfoy's (Draco's mum) sister. Andromeda's name can be seen on the family tree in Sirius' house but her photo has been burned off. The book explains that her family disowned her for marrying Ted Tonks, a Muggle-born. The only spell Neville used successfully against an enemy, Petrificus Totalus, is the same spell Hermione used on him in the first film. When Bellatrix takes Neville hostage in the Department of Mysteries, Helena Bonham Carter improvised and put her wand into his ear. However, she got so carried away that she damaged Matthew Lewis' eardrum and he almost lost his hearing. Beautiful note: Evanna Lynch had written a letter to J.K. Rowling about her struggles with anorexia before being cast as Luna Lovegood. If you're into some behind the scenes gossip: Emma Thompson (Trelawney) and Kenneth Branagh (Lockhart) were married but he left her for Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix), though years before. So if you've seen Love Actually then THAT moment hits you even harder.
Do not disparage Margaret Thatcher. She was awesome and I’d have voted for a Thatcher equivalent for President in a heartbeat. Her and Reagan were awesome together.
Read all this and the most disturbing one was the Emma Watson. Poor child* at that time* I can’t imagine how she must’ve felt but I’m glad she finished the Harry Potter journey
3:17 I wish they had kept the conversation between Harry and Petunia in this scene. In the book when Dudley points at Harry, he responds by saying that it was dementors and not him. But when Vernon asks what a dementor is, to everyone's surprise it is Petunia who responds saying that they are the guards of the wizard prison and she knows that because that awful boy told Lily about them when they were kids and she overheard him. 11:55 It is so sad that Amelia Bones show up only for this one scene in the movies and isn't mentioned properly like most characters. 12:54 Says the witch (it is better to replace that W with a B) who sent the dementors after Harry and Duddley in the first place. 20:48 No it isn't legal but if it is the government breaks the law, who is going to question them? 28:18 Watching this scene after knowing the whole story changes the perspective too much (pov look at Ginney). 36:41 I always hated that the movies skipped the whole St Mungos scene with the trio visiting Mr Weasley and bumping into Neville and his grandmother who were there visiting Neville's parents Frank and Alice Longbottom. After Voldemort vanished unable to kill baby Harry, Bellatrix, Rudolfus and Barty Crouch Jr tortured Mr and Mrs Longbottom to insanity, they were a husk of their original self (1000x worse than what Duddley was after the dementor attack). Hence their fate was worse than death. 38:14 This makes me cry every time and I am almost 30 now. 42:18 Once again, in the books it is Marietta Edgecombe (Cho's friend) who outs them not Cho. It is so annoying to see the movie do Cho dirty. Also, did you know that the prophecy this installment is all about referred to a boy and it could have been both Harry or Neville. And keep it in mind for the final 3 movies.
Do you know by this book that it could be Harry or Neville? Or did they say that later? Also there should be an office thread under every movie about good stuff they left out
@@blacklite911 The prophecy states the boy born at the end of July would have the power to vanquish him; it could be either Neville July 30th or Harry July 31st....Voldemort chose Harry because he's also a half-blood just like himself. Tom Riddle literally created his own enemy because of Lily Potter's sacrifice.
At least in Cho’s case, she’s vindicated later when they find out she only talked under the forced influence of Veritaserum, not of her own accord or even under ‘mere’ threats/punishments
@@blacklite911Yes near the end of the 5th book Dumbledore explains a lot of the things to Harry. One of them is the full prophecy and what it means. He says that the first part of the prophecy could be about either Harry or Neville but the second part of the prophecy states that Voldemort will mark the child as his equal which means prophecy is certainly about Harry cause Voldemort (not knowing the 2nd half of the prophecy) decided that he was the threat not Neville.. Dumbledore also points that Voldemort could've very well chosen Neville who is a pure-blood wizard but instead he chose Harry, a half-blood, because he saw hinself in him in a way.
I've convinced myself that expelliarmus varies in intensity base on the caster intentions. If they want a light flick, they'll say slightly stern voice, but if they wanted someone knocked around the room, they'll yell it (their heart has to be put in it.) Idk if it's true but that's how I've justified it. lol
I.e. Snape, when he slinks into the shrieking shack to disarm Sirius, "expelliarmus." vs Snape vs Gilderoy Lockhart when he sent him flying with "🗣EK! SPELLIARMUS!!"😂😂😂
In the Deathly Hallows Part 2 game, if I remember correctly (it’s been so long 😂), it mattered where you aimed. So if I aimed at the hand, it would just disarm them, but if I aimed at the body, it would throw them back. Idk how accurate that is to the rules but that’s what I remembered.

Oooooh Luna Lovegood is my favourite favourite character in this franchise. The actor, Evanna ynch actually came to a Comic Con here in Australia and I got to get a photo with her. I was so happy. :) Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to her really, but she seemed nice on the day. She's such a great character in the movie and the great thing is that she hadn't really had acting experience before this. This was her first big gig, and she beat so so many young ladies to the role. I think it's great that she got this role too. Well done Evanna. :)
@@connie2558 my least would probably be the second one. Not that I don't like it or anything, but I like the last 4 books (and 5 movies) more. Maybe the fact that there's so many spiders had something to do with it (I hate spiders lol). What about yours?
@@connie2558 oh I kind of agree that they focused on that a little bit much, but the rest of the story (the half-blood prince, the horcruxes, everything being quite grim, Dumbledore dying) made it quite compelling and interesting.
Fun Fact: at 58:50 Helena Bonham Carter accidentally ruptured the eardrum of Matthew Lewis (young man who plays Neville) when she stuck her wand in his ear during filming. 😅 From an interview: “I did something terrible. By mistake, I poked him in his ear. I thought I could brandish the wand like a sort of Q-tip, and clean out his ear…But unfortunately he moved toward the wand as I was prodding it. And it actually perforated his eardrum. Isn't that horrific? I damaged him! He's such a nice young man, he didn't admit to me that he actually had some internal bleeding about three days later.”

These days that would have gotten a settlement from the hospital and doc.
To address the expelliarmus thing, it's eluded to in the books as well that if you target the spell at the wand, it disarms the opponent. If you aim it directly at the opponent it acts like a knock back

One of the few things I hate about the movies vs the books is that the movies do such a bad job of explaining why Snape hated James, Sirius and Lupin. So many reactors think James was bullying him when they were equal rivals. Also, that they painted Snape as such a redeemable person even more than the books did.
Something that they don’t tell you in the movies that the books do is that Umbridge was the one who sent the Dementer after Harry. Also the flashback with snape and James is missing a lot of context. He wasn’t a straight up bully to snape. You gotta read or listen to the audiobooks. Fixes a lot of problems in the movies
What i found out. During the Sirius death scene when Harry is screaming. Daniels Grandmother past away the very morning before recording that scene even was said that it was a real sadness in that scream. They had to actually mute the scream because "They had to mute Dan's scream because it made Emma Watson and Helena Bonham Carter cry." So it makes this scene a lot sadder then it needed to be both in movie and in real life.
Also I will always love that look on Voldemort’s face when Harry says he feels sorry for him that look of almost surprise that even after everything he’s done that Harry doesn’t hate him he genuinely truly feels sorry for him because that’s who Harry is “a very good person who bad things have happened to”
“He looks so good now” For the longest, you could have not convinced me that that was the same actor. I also have this thing where if I haven’t seen an actor/actress in a whole bunch of things that I would not recognize with different style or color hair, or in movie makeup. So that really didn’t help 😂😅

I really like Order of the Pheonix. Ron and Hermione did not argue much during this year because Harry was going through too much and not only would they gave more attention to Harry, Harry wouldn't be able to stand their bickering. I especially liked the conversion between Harry and Dumbledore. Harry felt so much pain that it was torturous for Voldemort to be in his body for long, the reason why Voldemort cannot possess him. As much as Sirius's death must hurt him and as much struggles he goes through, it is ironically these that give him power that Voldemort fears. Voldemort causes his own undoing like many tyrants. There is irony in this too. They feel like no one can best them when the reason why they suppress people is because the suppressed have power that they fear.
Michael, I'm begging you, please don't be annoying by commenting 10 seconds before the scene happens. You're ruining the reaction. Is it really that hard to stay quiet?
Imelda Staunton goes way back with most of the grown people in this movie. I think her and Emma Thompson are BFFs. Just shows what amazing actors they all are.
51.05 The Eyes... Snape could not believe Harry trusted him with a message to Dumbledore..and Allan Rickman delivered the calm surprise PERFECTLY. RIP Mr. Rickman.
I like the change in how Sirius is talking through the fire. In the last movie, it's only embers in the fireplace, so his face appears in those, yet in this movie, the fire is fully going, so he's visible in the flames
When Sirius and Harry talk in the family tree room, and Sirius says, "You're a good person that bad things happen to." It makes me feel like Sirius was told those words himself by the Potter family growing up, so he understands Harry. Sirius came from a bad, abusive family himself until he ran away, so I can imagine he struggled a lot with figuring out who he is and understanding that just because he's a Black, doesn't make him bad, even when the rest of the wizarding world views him differently.

Umbridge is a muggle born so her anti-muggle rhetoric is another example of how in their ignorance, people can become blind and deaf to everything.

Umbridge truly gave Voldemort a run as best villain of the series. Books & film.

Thank you.
Thank you! Notably, the description of the one botn to vanquish the dark lord fit both Harry Potter and Neville Longbottom but Voldemort marked Harry as the one. It could have easily been Neville! That makes Neville's character growth even more awesome and his role towards the end more satisfying.
@@isikhayatimNeville’s character growth is one of my favorites 🥰. He is brave because that is who he is not because of a prophecy that mandates it.

Imelda Staunton did a fantastic job playing a character who was more hated than the story's main villain. The fact that Umbridge was more hated than Voldemort himself makes the scene where she gets carried away like firewood by the centaurs that much more satisfying.

Moral of the story never watch Harry Potter with the people who knows the plot already.
Fun facts/book lore:
While this is the longest book, the film is the second shortest.
@@gus6344 Right? It's disgusting.
I wish they showed the other letters and the howler.
Do you know by this book that it could be Harry or Neville? Or did they say that later?

@@blacklite911 The prophecy states the boy born at the end of July would have the power to vanquish him; it could be either Neville July 30th or Harry July 31st....Voldemort chose Harry because he's also a half-blood just like himself.
If they want a light flick, they'll say slightly stern voice, but if they wanted someone knocked around the room, they'll yell it (their heart has to be put in it.)

One of the few things I hate about the movies vs the books is that the movies do such a bad job of explaining why Snape hated James, Sirius and Lupin. So many reactors think James was bullying him when they were equal rivals. Also, that they painted Snape as such a redeemable person even more than the books did.
Michael, please contain yourself.😅😁💜
Something that they don’t tell you in the movies that the books do is that Umbridge was the one who sent the Dementer after Harry. Also the flashback with snape and James is missing a lot of context. He wasn’t a straight up bully to snape. You gotta read or listen to the audiobooks. Fixes a lot of problems in the movies
Love how Kristen keeps calling Ginny, Jenny. lol It makes me giggle everytime.

I’ve heard that’s not actually true and the director just wanted slow motion and muted for a dramatic feel.
Also I will always love that look on Voldemort’s face when Harry says he feels sorry for him that look of almost surprise that even after everything he’s done that Harry doesn’t hate him he genuinely truly feels sorry for him because that’s who Harry is “a very good person who bad things have happened to”
“He looks so good now”
For the longest, you could have not convinced me that that was the same actor. I also have this thing where if I haven’t seen an actor/actress in a whole bunch of things that I would not recognize with different style or color hair, or in movie makeup. So that really didn’t help 😂😅
Hopefully Michael knows about the line Luna said. "Things we lose have a way of coming back to us in the end, if not always in the way we expect"
What do you mean by this??
@13apierce have you watched hp7 part2?
Mrs.Figg’s description is bone chilling “then everything went cold as if all the happiness had gone from the world” like damn…..😥
Mrs. Figg is a squib. A squib is a person who has two magical parents but was born without any magic themselves. The opposite of Hermione. Filch is a squib also. Some squibs leave the wizarding world and go to live in the regular. world.
In the books Snape is a lot more unhinged sometimes. Also Cho doesn’t tell on them it was her friend not sure why they had to change that detail.
no need to introduce a new character, her motivations etc. Cho is already established, that's why.
@@Andy666TheBeastalso it’s more emotionally impactful on both the audience and the characters, both before and after it’s revealed it was because of the Veritaserum, and provides an easy way out to ending the relationship between her and Harry without having to depict all the stuff in the book that contributed to their breakup
Cho has such a baby voice awww! So young! She sounds way more mature now as Caitlyn in arcane❤❤
Delores Umbridge is one of the most wicked characters of any story, ever.
2:58 mrs figg isn’t a wizard, she’s a squib like filtch and dumbledore’s little sister. A squib is a person who is from a family full of magical wizards, but the person can’t use magic and is a muggle
After reacting to the last movie Kristen should probably react to the the Anniversary return. Maybe Michael will not spoiled that.
I can't imagine the excitement that the Boose is feeling seeing these books come to life. I feel you brotha!
Well it was Neville in the first movie that was given points during last minute awarding of points and who step up to his friends even though he's unsure of his strengths. He is ready for a fist fight and somehow forgot he has a wand.😅
The “Hold it, don’t spoil it” was on point 🫡
Brace yourself… The next one, Half-Blood Prince is officially the beginning of the one the most Epic story endings ever!
Michael really needs to stop giving away what's going to happen next. Othere than that, enjoyed this reaction.
Matter how bad you think Umbridge is in this, I assure you, she's WORSE in the books.
He's read the books which is why he's getting flamed so hard for reacting and supposedly constantly spoiling things. It's his first time watching the movies
@atankar I'm aware. That comment was more for Kristen
I can’t wait for you guys to watch Half Blood Prince and rave about Tom Felton’s performance
Is it impossible for you to stop it with the spoilers?!!? He literally said how the next movie would feel…wtf?!!?
Cinepals: perhaps don’t allow him to see any films (books) that he’s already seen…
🖤🌹🖤🧛🏻♀️
Kristen is such a sweetheart. I’m loving watching these with both of you! So much fun!☺️👍
Michael, I'm begging you, please don't be annoying by commenting 10 seconds before the scene happens. You're ruining the reaction. Is it really that hard to stay quiet?
Ngl yall annoying
I’ve been waiting for you guys to do this one for a minute now 😂
Imelda Staunton goes way back with most of the grown people in this movie. I think her and Emma Thompson are BFFs. Just shows what amazing actors they all are.
Guys, watch Gary Oldman again in The Dark Knight trilogy. It's totally worth it 👌.
Watch Gary Oldman in anything. He's always great. Many people won't even realize that was Gary Oldman in a role. He's one of the best.
Imo, Gary Oldman is the greatest actor of his generation
In the book you find out that it was Umbridge that sicked the Dementors on Harry and Dudley.
"We fly of course." Expecting to see brooms but dude spoils it before the scene appears. Ugghhh
51.05 The Eyes... Snape could not believe Harry trusted him with a message to Dumbledore..and Allan Rickman delivered the calm surprise PERFECTLY. RIP Mr. Rickman.
I miss you Snape, I miss this trio, I miss everything about Harrpy potter, , especially in December
I like the change in how Sirius is talking through the fire. In the last movie, it's only embers in the fireplace, so his face appears in those, yet in this movie, the fire is fully going, so he's visible in the flames
I used to have a major crush on Cho Chang
Luna is in Ravenclaw, she’s not stupid just kinda weird but she is amazingly kind.
Luna lovegood is one of my favorite characters👍🏼😊
Well done, Michael, for not spoiling this time!! Really enjoyed this reaction.
The ending battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort is one of the best moments in the entire series for me
Umbridge is such a good bad guy :D
When Sirius and Harry talk in the family tree room, and Sirius says, "You're a good person that bad things happen to." It makes me feel like Sirius was told those words himself by the Potter family growing up, so he understands Harry. Sirius came from a bad, abusive family himself until he ran away, so I can imagine he struggled a lot with figuring out who he is and understanding that just because he's a Black, doesn't make him bad, even when the rest of the wizarding world views him differently.
Finally someone who agrees with me that the fire effect was better before!! Thank you 😊
