shoot to loot has always been nice for gms or solo content. it is still nieche, yes, but not a bad perk. If you're running cenotaph, you can use it on path of least resistance and insta pick up your ammo from a well for example.

Man, when I crafted that bow and used it for the first time, synergized with all the fragments and artifact mods and, I can’t stop using it. More fun solo for sure, but so much fun to watch all this explosions. I was doing Master Grasp and tried it for fun even if it’s close quarters, one shot, 5-10 ads die. Crazy. Great vid too.

Fang of Ir Yut, Brya's Love, Tarnished Mettle, and Pointed Inquiry are all craftable alternatives (though only Fang pairs with Tyranny of Heaven and it's probably the weakest of all of them at being a STL gun). Technically there's Raconteur and Fel Taradiddle too, but the way champion stuns work means you probably don't want double bow in a GM.
This is a fun build, but am I the only one that gets hit with a void nade every time I get to the protect ghost room? Is there a certain way you have to sit in that cheese spot. I emulated it 3 times now and as soon as the unstopp spawns I get a void nade in my bunker.
Once you get in the cheese spot don't move, even if you can't get a good angle on the unstop. The enemies will start shooting at you and throwing nades if you move
Stasis is also excellent with db, as the grenades lock them in closest to the blast zone and the ignitions shatter everything in seconds, i clean everything else up with lucky pants
That’s not fair, I tried this method twice. The first time, I blew myself up with the rocket at the very same spot. Second time, a scorn threw a grenade into that cheese spot.

Loadout suggestion for the class: since it seems to me the main purpose of the scout rifle here is to break barriers while radiant is up, consider Randy's Throwing Knife. The perks Under-Over and Adaptive Munitions both work on barrier champions. (Though you're also using the scout for Shoot to Loot--as far as I can tell the only primary that rolls STL and either of the above perks is Pure Poetry, which may not have enough range for this use case; so if you still want STL you probably want Randy's and a different energy weapon, and giving up Tyranny of Heaven is always a tough sell. You're probably looking at STL/Incandescent on Pre Astyanax or Strident Whistle; or STL/Dragonfly on the latter. I'm not sure how worth it that is, and clearly Eso got the clear quickly enough anyway.) Under-Over is a 125% damage increase against PVE combatant shields, which includes elemental shields, barrier shields, Lucent Hive moths, and Shadow Legion backpack overshields. Adaptive Munitions is a stacking version of the same idea, though it only works on the first two things, and on scout rifles it stacks 166.7% damage every hit up to 500%! Both of these perks are easily overlooked because they are niche, but the niche of "I can't use the good anti-barrier weapons and I need something else to handle GM barriers" does come up.
He chose Perses-D for the StL+EP combo which makes it ten times better. StL on anything other than a trace is a pain to use without EP or any explosive perk that works with it like kinetic tremors. Also it's kinda pointless to run anti-barrier this season when you are radiant all the time. DB can break barrier on it's on. Scout is only used to delay regen until ignitions from DB trigger.
no eremite is definitely not a replacement. tyranny of heaven is used bc it’s a long range solar bow the only replacement would be another long ranged solar weapon. eremite is close ranged and would not work here
Technically you can farm Shuro Chi chest every week and hope you get lucky (I believe Last Wish is the exception to "chests only drop weapons you have in collections" rule), but otherwise Kalli farming is super easy and well worth it for the bow and Apex Predator alone--and also she's apparently one of the more reasonable solo raid encounters to learn, if you're into that (the absolute easiest is VOG opening, since you cannot lose progress on it in any way even if you die or the plates get recaptured). But that's not what you asked. The only other solar bows are Strident Whistle and Pre Astyanax, from the regular Vanguard weapon pool and the Nightfall pool respectively. They have a slower draw time than Tyranny of Heaven, which kind of sucks in the context of Flint Striker, but they both roll Archer's Tempo/Incandescent which is well suited to the strategy you see here. You can probably also get away with a scout rifle in that slot, provided you have unstoppable stuns on your kinetic weapon; this adds Staccato-46 and Trustee as alternatives for long-range precision primaries with Incandescent. Staccato has the bonus of rolling Shoot to Loot as well, which seems to be the main purpose of Eso's scout here (aside from killing barriers, since Unstoppable Bow prevents Radiant from applying anti-barrier to TOH).

You swap to a weapon as it's completing, you can literally just pick up the same ball repeatedly. He only does it the one time because the adds would be unmanageable if he kept going

Yeah they changed radiant to give weapon anti barrier, Strand and void can gain anti barrier as well. At the time of me writing this I can’t remember what give it but you can see for yourself by looking at anti-barrier on your character

Dragons breath's scorch will make you radiant. Also the explosions from the bow will constantly re proc it with the artifact mods. And so will the throwing knifes. I believe I got that right. Oh, also the golden gun procs radiant.

I even got run over by it in Trials paired with a GL one time. People know.
you gotta get in there asap before any ads see you, dont jump or move around much and when you initially get in there, move slightly to the left wall so your character will rise and you will be able to shoot the ads without jumping
Don't move at all believe me it works but the movement you move a little bit you are dead in that box. I ran the same run twice. on the first try I died at 86% because I moved a little bit. But on the second try I did that cheese without moving and it worked( ps. I died by the lasers in that run😂) gonna try solo run again

Sorry. I think all these solo grand master videos are somehow fake. I got to this point today and died within 10 seconds hiding in same spot. An enemy bouncy grenade landed right at my feet and killed me instantly.

Line yourself up with the deepest spot in the groove and Don’t. Move. Any movement clues them in and every enemy will start hurling grenades.

long range section in the beginning and tyranny of heaven is a lightweight bow i guess
It adds aim assist, accuracy cone size, and ADS speed, which probably helps more than a siphon mod since he's not relying on orbs all that much.

@@kelvincalloway5968 who is underrating Tyranny of Heaven? everything I've ever heard about that bow is about how cracked it is, even before this season's artifact which it lends itself to beautifully? And with over 3k PVE kills on mine (which isn't a lot by some standards, but I use a lot of different weapons), I can confirm it's a rock-solid PVE bow. I even got run over by it in Trials paired with a GL one time. People know.

I couldn’t get the Defend Ghost cheese spot to work for me, the ads were still killing me. Does it only work for solos?

you gotta get in there asap before any ads see you, dont jump or move around much and when you initially get in there, move slightly to the left wall so your character will rise and you will be able to shoot the ads without jumping
Don't move at all believe me it works but the movement you move a little bit you are dead in that box. I ran the same run twice. on the first try I died at 86% because I moved a little bit. But on the second try I did that cheese without moving and it worked( ps. I died by the lasers in that run😂) gonna try solo run again

Sorry. I think all these solo grand master videos are somehow fake. I got to this point today and died within 10 seconds hiding in same spot. An enemy bouncy grenade landed right at my feet and killed me instantly.
