I didn't really know what else to call this run, but I figured Bipod rarely gets any use in most cases, so that can be the focus here. It works well for handling all of the add spawns, and is decent for having extra rockets for the Overloads too.
Outside of that, it's pretty poor for the second phase of the boss, particularly the start of the phase with the Unstoppable. While Celestial Hunter is extremely good in most cases, that part is probably where it's fairly inconsistent. If the boss decides to throw the invulnerable tether in a spot you can't see, it's pretty much a guaranteed wipe. If you had a roaming super or something with more AoE you'd be able to handle all of the adds and the unstoppable being immune, but not really with this setup. It's probably why this GM is my least favourite overall, the boss fight is just annoying to deal with, constantly spamming the most awkward tethers imaginable.

Bipod is fun for reconstruction and envious assassin, with envious you can get 8 rockets and I love the spam, I had a random using Gjally and the sheer amount of wolfpack rounds that spawn is great

I like this new meta of using rockets as special weapons XD, sure bipod does reduce your dps, but it does has it's ups, the increased reserves are very good, the reduced damage makes them less letal to you when used up close (I died more times I like to admit to dragon's breath) and two rockets in a row are usually better than a single one.

I used to flame the thought of Bipod but honestly if you’re using a Solar Subclass (which we all are) once you’re Radiant and toss a grenade for debuff, Bipod still 2 Rockets champions. BnS and Explosive Light also take 2 rockets when proc’d but Bipod gives you extra ammo reserves which makes it cracked for GM’s or Lost Sectors. For pure DPS I think BnS or Explosive Light are without a doubt better, but for pure sustained damage Bipod is really handy

Idk if you notice, but the unstopps take 3 rockets while radiant and it didn't even kill. As for the overloads, overload rocket adds a bonus damage buff towards overload champs which is doing alot of the extra damage you're attributing to bipod.
@@smatt5153 Unstop are still 2 Rockets if you become Radiant and weaken them with powered melee or grenade, I guess since I use Fusion nades they help make the 3 Rocket to just 2
@LeJunny he did weaken with knife for radiant thats what im pointing out. So its a "2 rocket" if you damage it first, seems kind of counter intuitive
The time where he didnt weaken with knife but still had radiant it took 4 rockets
@@smatt5153 Yea I can see it not being the best for certain builds, I’m a Starfire Protocol user so the double Fusion nades with Touch of Flame lets me shoot 2 easy Bipod rockets after the grenade for the kill while not wasting all my grenade energy since I get 2 to begin with.
This inspired me to try my first GM in 3 years, then I completed my first Duality. Downside is I don't get how the fire team finder has so may people who quit at the first problem, the default(lazy) no tags does not help anyone.
Its ( unfortunately ) mostly newer people / casuals who expect strike level dificulty and not mechanics

It always was since the slight damage buff it received. People not understanding utility and/or ease of use is just as if not more important than big damage number. Also fun. Like I have an acosmic with high velocity rounds, Impulse Amplifier, and Cascade Point and it's one of the most hilarious weapons I've ever used. Is it good? No. Is it funny as heck? Absolutely

Ember of empyrean and ember of solace combined together gets you 12 seconds of restoration after using the healing grenade with 4 kills

Melee gets refunded if you get a kill with it
if you use ember of torches(fragment) and knock em down(aspect) while you are radiant your melee refunds your knife meaning getting a final blow with your knife will refund it
So Bipod over Explosive Light? Or maybe just better for solo play?
It's better for burst, but bad for DPS. Great for GMs
For ammo economy, you have about 12 rockets just by bipod alone
