Mike Jones was being played in every other old school in my city summer 04
if you haven't done it yet can you do What Happened to The Yin Yang Twins
If I had a dollar every time he said Mike Jones I’d have well over a million dollars
Always knew his music and didn't know what he looked like till someone said I look like a cross between Mike Jones and a Ninja Turtle.
nolo king 🤭😮🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can run all night long
*MIKE JONES!*
But you'll never, catch Mr Jones
*HAHAHAHAA*
You put a lot of work into these bro. Respect
He's fine, my dad texted him "leanin on dat butter" one night, and the next day Jones said "all day longggg😈"
Next to you is an amazing record. He sings on it and it sounds hard not forced at all
I called him one night, he answered, said thanks for buying the cd.
Do a what happened to Beanie Siegel
Beanie a crackhead and snitch now go look it up
Beans is what happened to Beans. He couldn't leave the streets alone, got shot and incarcerated a bunch of times. Lost a lung in the process. Still rhymes, but he's past his prime. I say that as a huge fan.
@@0dirty nigga we all know what happened to beans that's not the point of these videos 🤦🏻♂️ they're little documentaries of niggas that used to be hot and now they're not and he explains why
Drugs . Sadly beans Is my favorite rapper tho
0dirty the shooting situation with his lungs wasn't street related. Everything else was on-point tho
Yo you’re killing it with this channel! Keep grinding my G 👊
He gave his number out and blew up through his raps that's what you call power house advertising
Y’all gonna forget that Mac Miller and Mike Jones collab on faces? That song was tough.
Who ever called Mike Jones number? 🖐🏿 I tried to get on track
Damn 50 Cent really inspired a huge wave of artists in his time, much love to mike Jones man 👏🏾 seems like a cool dude , that Houston wave 05-06 was crrrazzzzy
Yup , him slim an wall ... Everybody in the hood bump those 3 an I'm from Dallas
@@og3777 Zro shoulda blown up as well
@@breakdown7153 I thought he did at one point , had several albums so can't call him a one hit wonder , plus had he stayed .... He would've changed his entire flow to fit this era of hip hop samething Gucci Maine did so it was better for him to leave before rap turned bad .
For real!! Good times.
@@og3777 Don't remember him being big nationally(radio play, BET love and video play) but he never stopped and still makes amazing tracks. I never stopped listening to this style of music as I grew up on it in Houston in the 90's. So when this group went big I was glad to see the light finally shine on all the talent in the H. 1995 Pocket full of stones is the first rap song I ever heard. Family was into classic rock, so I had to discover it on my own.
Quavo stole his flow
And you listen to quavo? You clown
More like Gucci mane
No ! Somebody can always come along and do it better and how u quavo was Influenced by him .. he was a kid when mike jones was out! He was dope!
@@Sammybnailz so let me get this right you mean to tell me that you actually sat and listen to these clowns and can admit it ? Your gangsta 😂😂😂😂😂 😂

In an interview on the breakfast club Soulja boy says the phone number thing was something to where you got paid every time someone called the number. His was kiss me through the phone I think, he claims he was making 25k a month from people calling the line. I would imagine this got incorporated somehow or was what kickstarted the concept
I still remember when that mixtape dropped and it was flow after flow after flow. The Jay-Z "City is mine" was my favorite. In the end you knew the brand that started him was going to become annoying af to the general public. He had a good run!
Well 30k phone calls a day explains why i never got threw
Damn I just realize quavo sound like mike jones
I love his debut album WHO IS MIKE JONES? it's a hip hop Classic & one of my favourite albums, i was so into Mike Jones back then in 2005 & i still think he's one of the greatest of that time period & i liked his album more than the other big rappers releases of that time such as 50 Cent's The Massacre album or The Game's The Documentary or Kanye West's Late Registration among others. I'm still playing Who is Mike Jones? Now in 2020!!! So hope he gets to release Where is Mike jones? So yeah I'm still a big fan
I remember going threw a taco going threw the drive threw playing grandma by Mike Jones ! With my granddaughter in the back three yrs ago the young man working the drive threw handed us our order & had a beautiful smile on his face with almost tears in his eyes true story ! Case in point Mike Jones ! Has that effect on us props up to Mike Jones !
