Legit my all time favorite rapper! Breaks my heart that he's so underrated.. Dude is a beast! Glad you understand how good he is. You just got a new subscriber.
What happened to Banks is he’s just too real and authentic with a genuine love of rapping in an industry that’s more focused on image, spot like and trends. Banks never cared about the spot light, the cameras etc it’s always just been about the music, he clearly poured his heart into his music and used it as therapy. Not a get rich quick scheme. And for that, i’ll always respect him. never sold out.
The Cold Corner 2 is one of the best mixtapes ever released! I never truly thought of Banks as a punchline rapper, per se, but he is a top notch lyricist, densely packed verses on every song, rarely a miss, and one of the coolest to do it. Always will be on the lookout for new music from him.
In the beginning of his career he was one of the punchline kings. Once he reached his 30s he became a wordsmith . So he got better as he aged lyrically .
Leave him alone. He stacked his millions and never touched his royalties. He’s enjoying his time, his energy, his health and his hard earned wealth with his kids. Leave him alone, he will come back when he wants to.
STILL my #1 & ONLY!! I'll ALWAYS Love this man.. On God! Hands down on of the Best Rappers to ever do it! You feel the music thru his voice, his swag & his struggle! I love that he stays under ground & true to himself. Fan from jump & ALWAYS Will be! 💯 #LoveFromDetroit 313 #Aries

That's a stereotype like everyone that's black can jump, I'm in a white mink, the fabric is done, cop rings like Mike Bird Magic and them, I'm out in Dallas in a palace where the Mavericks is from, living lavish I'm established so the cabbage'll come, I'm in the clouds yo you don't see me on the train, I travel first class you ain't even got a TV on your plane, you should be easy on my name cause I ain't going back and forth, your boss and your captain's soft
"u looking for a group to drive, you aint getting nothing but your french fries oversized". that line completed hip hop forever.
It's a different era Lloyd is too real for this Migos rapping style era 💯
Where Fans Meet ... You say that but Offset is actually lyrical if you just listen closely, he be spittin some shit bro trust me
@@dmoney9285 after G-unit there was Griselda💪🔥☇
dominic clarke 😂 LoL - hella funny bro
Hard to believe rotten apple was considered a fail. That flow is hypnotic
Rotten apple was bad he should have left gunit sooner. He has several mixtapes better than rotten apple
The hunger for more couple albums was his best. far as albums currently.
Rotten apple is 50 cent
Great lyricist." I'm so fly" and "Warrior remix". Dope tracks
Its frustrating to see how Lloyd Banks has developed and not achieved more. The man is clearly lyrical and untouchable on the microphone. That became clear as day back in 2003 when i heard him on 'Dont push me'. Since then he has been my top 5 and never budged! Still i am happy he is still alive and able to bless us from time to time with mixtapes features and interviews🙏🏽
Great video btw..keep em coming!
-We All Die One Day - was one of the sickest tracks that Banks was on!
we still checkin for you banks
Sadly most artists get their recognition when they die...:(
Dammn in 2007 He was 27 and I told my friends, that Banks has a bright future and he will rule the industry once.....but unfortunately the time has gone..... Banks will be always a legend. G-Unit
He was 25 in 2007 even worse
@@zay7808 one of the youngest rappers
Time is coming my friend
I see him from time to time. He lives around the way. If you see a dark Bentley driving around its usually Banks
Oh yeah, the car he only drives on fridays.
Does he still live in the hood ?
bronx bully haha he must never could afford to move out
RAZOR RAMOAN yeah but he have bentley u idiot
RKPCH Reactions! Yeah it looks good but that doesn’t mean shit. It ain’t much to lease/rent a car. Let’s say he did buy it, a Bentley in the hood....you still live in the hood......stupid money move. Buy some properly and make your money back and some.
Banks has always been the best of The Unit
Buck was also sick
@@ManOfAttitudeLP1998 Buck is nowhere near the level of Banks. Educate yourself.
@@HULK-HOGAN1 Did I say that?
I know that PLK Banks is by far the best but Compared to Yayo Buck was not bad
Buck didn’t have as many bars but he definitely made better songs then banks.
Who else is patiently waiting for that CC3? i wont lose hope for its release no matter what happens.
Sami samanian I’m sayin
Just gonna be like waiting for detox lol
J M I don’t think banks would do us like dat he’s a man of his word
V6: The gift is still one of the best mixtapes ever, shout out from Poland!
V5* V6 was kinda boring
V5 is classic Bank$
Agreed 🇿🇦
Kalvin Baber boring? That shit had bangers you trippin smh
Nothing happened , he touring in Australia this month haha

*THAT'S AN UNKNOWN SECRET ABOUT BEING AN AMERICAN RAPPER . WHEN YOU'RE NOT VERY POPULAR IN THE STATES ANYMORE , YOU CAN ALWAYS GO ON TOUR OVERSEAS AND MAKE A LOT OF MONEY OUT THERE . IT'S THE SAME THING AS WHEN A HOLLYWOOD ACTOR LOSES HIS POPULARITY , AND IS FORCED TO DO NOTHING BUT VOICEOVER WORK FOR CARTOONS .*
lol
Yeah he mentions that in the video
"Touring" in Europe is what every failed rapper does. All those rappers been performing in small clubs here all over Europe.
@@glocknineteen9190 not every rapper. It's the ones who were famous. We have a lot of festivals here in Europe and people just appreciate good music. People here go crazy to all kind of music, old and new.
Before i leave the crib, i tell my mother i love her, grab the burner.. but she ain't concerned cuz im a earner 💯
Dude it should be a federal offense for how slept on this dude is. EASILY one of the best MCs in recent history. He's definitely in the hall of fame.
underrated most hated thanks for the proper coverage of a legend salute to the plk been a fan since 03 he needs his time to relax he is definitely under a valued artist when these mumble rappers get so much shine
Definitely underrated but NEVER forgotten.. lyrically in his own lane!
Banks killed every verse on Beg for Mercy ... all we listened to all day every day! 🐐🔥🔥🔥🔥
dv6 inc his verse on “salute you” 🔥
Literally every track like I rewind his verses only real talk
50 cent has the best verses in my opinion he stood out the most
Legit my all time favorite rapper! Breaks my heart that he's so underrated.. Dude is a beast! Glad you understand how good he is. You just got a new subscriber.

Mike I didnt think you listed to lloyd banks bro 😭😂😭😂
Mike be poppin them thingsss💉 😂. Love your content buddy, all love.
@@charlie.w119 🤣🤣🤣
Nah Nas is
What happened to Banks is he’s just too real and authentic with a genuine love of rapping in an industry that’s more focused on image, spot like and trends. Banks never cared about the spot light, the cameras etc it’s always just been about the music, he clearly poured his heart into his music and used it as therapy. Not a get rich quick scheme. And for that, i’ll always respect him. never sold out.
Real talk
Well it's always been about the music and pussy for Lloyd Banks.... He's Top 5 for me but his downfall has always been laziness and pussy
@Walt Dizney How so?
Damn I haven’t heard that intro song “Rather Be Me” in a while.
I got to turn that shit on now.
Was bumping V5 yesterday no lie

I hate to be you nigga you not like me
This track is tuff
That’s crazy how he was from the dmv originally before moving to New York, salute. One of the most underrated artists of the 00s
Imagine all the money he lost from that leaked album?
My favourite rapper of all time, hands down. Swag, image, bars, content, confidence. Banks 🙌
This! 100%. Banks is #1
😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think G Unit overshadowed him if he were a solo performer at the beginning he could get more hype than this.
The dude who made this video seems very positive and cool. Nice of you to say all of this about someone.
He released to many songs for free.but the real money is in touring.
Haven’t even finished the video yet but I know it’s a banger, good job bro
For all of you who are asking the song that plays in the beginning her name is "Rather Be Me" from V.5 mixtape!! #PLK
Matthew Tanyi Facturate
In the beginning of his career he was one of the punchline kings. Once he reached his 30s he became a wordsmith . So he got better as he aged lyrically .
PUNCH LINE KING
Leave him alone. He stacked his millions and never touched his royalties. He’s enjoying his time, his energy, his health and his hard earned wealth with his kids. Leave him alone, he will come back when he wants to.
😆 😆 😆
Wtf 😂 this video was practically 34 minutes of giving the man props.
💯 #LoveFromDetroit 313 #Aries
i never heard of 80% of his mixtapes
his downfall was really the lack of marketing . visual and shows
because the talent is top notch
Big Dub your missing a lot of music man Banks mixtapes are GREAT
@@ACE330 i got lotta cath up to do fam
That’s what it was . Lack of marketing and promo. Plus no videos or interviews. I’ve been saying this for a long time.

Lloyd Banks is one of my favorite rapper in the game and I agreed he is very underrated and his music is underrated as well. I don't understand why. If he comes out with new I definitely pick up my copy.
Hunger For More was and is a CLASSIC STREET ALBUM!!! One of the hardest hitting projects ever.

Officer down was deeeee most lyrical beat dwn i ever heard all time smfh i would kill to go bk to these dayz i dnt even listen rap no more straight reggae/dancehall
Lloyd Banks is better without the unit. He is a one man(lyrical) army. Straight up.
He is, but he's lazy, that's what sucked
ARE Very good point. He has so much more potential. For some reason, I get the feeling that he isn’t completely done yet with rap
@@MonkeyDLuffy60073 na he ain't lazy. He just ain't about the glitz and glamour. He always just did his own thing and making music. Straight up. All his mixtapes until about last year or so. All were fire as fuck. I think he was better when he left gunit.
@@MegaPsycho84 he retired. He just had a son too. But I hope he comes back. I'm sure he will have a new style being older and having a son.
He not a leader. 50 wanted banks to take the lead. He would've been cool if game took the lead. Somebody anybody so he could go do his thing else where. But in the end Game messed it all up.
