@@brightsteel5695 usually you only shove (as a jungler) when after gank it's already shoving into enemy. if you have more minions on your side and its in the middle or if you can make it hit their turret within 1 push its good to push so it can bounce back to the middle of the lane. if its on the middle of the lane and u gonna waste a long time to push it into turret its a waste of time and usually fucks up their wave since enemy can come and freeze.

This would have worked with any jungler because the ward that was placed in the river gives off fake vision towards the end of the real vision. Any jungler could've just walked from their jungle to that brush and that ward would not have detected them, giving laners a false sense of security. If you go in spectate mode / vod and you pause / unpause the game it will show you the real vision, or if you click on your ward or have it on normal cast, it will also show you the real vision radius of your ward.
@5:39 In some cases, it is actually better to do this if you have power farming jungler that can't match the enemy jg at his 240 gank mid. This allows you ward their raptors around 210-220, or a deeper raptor ward which clips the jungle enterance from mid lane, which gives a lot of information to your team, and you get to do their before the enemy jungler arrives there unless they are a 3 camper that will be around that side, which they will finish their 3rd camp at 230 so you should also be safe. Then you are safe from ganks wave 3 if you play back a bit, and wave 4 the lane should be on your side. This is really good if you have a fullclearing jungle and the enemy has an aggressive jungler that will end up at the opposite scuttle of your jungler, so you will not need lane priority, and just want to make sure you don't die to a the pesky early enemy jg, while your kayn is clearing the rest of his 3 camps in anticipation to do scuttle then recalling if no gank is available.

If they are starting topside, and you are a matchup that usually shoves the enemy, then placing in the tribrush or enemy krugs if you can to be safe; junglers who start red and intend to level 3 gank top will do red>raptors>krugs (bc its closer to top), then path towards tribrush and try to gank, on the other hand... if you see them do red, then krugs, you will most likely be safe for the next few minutes because they will most likely not level 2 gank you and instead do raptors then invade your botside / gank mid / fullclear their botside into scuttle and be back top around 4-5 minute mark to clear their respawned camps, and gank you if they have the option. Inverse is also applicable for bot lane. Mid: The left ward for blue side is ideal, likewise the right ward for red-side is ideal. But the left ward for red-side, and the right ward for blue-side is NOT ideal. Instead, if you move it straight down/up (depending on the side) to align it with the pixel brush, so you see the jungler comming from multiple angles. The ward they have is only good if you hard lose a level 1, or the enemy jg is like a nidalee or something that will do like blue/gromp, then go straight down the river and hop the dragon pit to take your team's red while your jungler is on the opposite side then come gank your lane from behind. So this is a REALLY defensive ward, and you have conceded the lane early at that point because you won't see the enemy jg ganking you if they hug the wall that alot of people fail their flash on :p. As for the timing, if you are going to agressively shove your laner in by wave 1 or 2 (slowpush + crash), from my personal experience In diamond junglers will sometimes on their way to their blue (after taking red (and raptors in some cases)), decide to come and gank you around 200. In this case, it is best to ward at around 125 so you can get the push, this ward will expire at 255, so you will not see them when they scuttle but you should know after wave 4 (300) they are likely going to either be wrapping up gromp for a full clear, or on scuttle while looking for a gank on their nearest sidelane and mid lane. From my experience, Jungling as a role changes the most in contrast to elo. Personally I reached GM from D4 with 67% winrate in jungle and Challenger after that but I still often struggle the most to win games in platinum playing jungle. It's like: High elo: - Jungle is more about pressure and helping laners to execute correct decision making (helping to push, covering, setting up vision) - Forcing ganks from favorable situations which the winning lanes create - Very rarely random kills/ganks off obvious mistakes. Low elo: - Winning lane = still total coinflip as it is equally possible that they use lead to overextend and die to random gank in contrast to doing anything useful. - Most of the kills from enemy misplay / overextend / no one ever recalls in time or correctly. - 99% of deaths by gank on both sides are laners fault, not actually jungle gap as they say while dying. (Surely better jungler capitalizes better on mistakes but the mistakes are so obvious and obnoxious that it is mostly the jungler with less retarded laners that wins, less influenced by the actual jungler) Low elo is kinda funny as I think "playing correctly" in jungle doesn't work, what works is picking 1v9 champ and taking everything risking tilted teammates, but even that only works if you know how to carry.
Dude that doesn't only happen while playing jungle, in d4 and below you have to play 1v9 champions and play only for your own benefit every time. For example if u're playing top lane and you pick an Ornn in Platinum elo just because you think your team should need a tank, you're pretty much an idiot. It'd be always better to pick an Akali, a mage or a snowballing fighter. And this same logic goes to every role.

I'm a bit confused on autopilot wards for top lane. @1:57 it looks like it's in the brush but @5:16 it's placed in the river right outside of the brush instead of in it. I assume the first ward is general and second is for autopilot junglers like Karthus?
Another quick tip: If the enemy is a pre-made team, you can guarantee they'll gank earlier then normal. They'll wait as long as they need to in tribush to get the perfect gank.
To be honest, if you are going to place that wards on the edges, there are still blind spots, so you still become surprised. So if you check that Karthus route at 4:00, you see, he is coming from behind, not seen by this wards. If he decides to sneak behind the midlaner through that two brushes on the right next to him, you wont see it. There is also a blind spot at the botside jungle. If he is using it, you are practically dead. Your warding guide only works, if sidelanes are warding the river also.
8:05 yes he did, both teams can see the vision plants being used and at 7:45 you can see ivern hitting vision plant towards bot side river, and they should've immediately backed off as they know their elise wont make it in time for a counter gank
1 more thing I do that my friends have confirmed helps them a lot. If you spot an enemy jungler ping it!!! You cannot, especially in soloQ rely on your teammates to have the same level of map awareness especially while you are still climbing, and this will let them know where the jungler is even if they slack on checking their minimap properly
one thing thats confusing to me: in the videos on laning and trading, you often point out that slow pushing and getting level 2 first along with a minion advantage is the best way to win the 1v1, but if you do that, your wave is always on their side of the river,, but not yet under their tower at the time when the jungle gank will get there. even if you see the jungler on a ward, backing off means your slowpushing wave will kill their wave while you're outside of xp range, putting you a whole wave behind, in which case you still lost lane to jungle even if you avoided dying or burning flash. is there some trick to this? also, at the beginning of the video (1:00) you say not to ward the bush as blue side in top lane, because it's a "lazy ward that wont save you", but then later in the video (2:00) you say that same exact bush is the correct auto-pilot ward spot for a blue side top laner???
Another guide I saw stated that Syndra's ward is where you need to place it at that timing because it also spots scuttle crab spawn - but I guess this guide is gank focused, and scuttle can be considered a different topic
These tips are nice and all but I already found a 100% anti ganking strategy of sitting in the fountain, so far I haven’t had a single jungle even attempt to gank me
On 8:15 they made a mistake. The plant trigger is only visible due to the fact that this is spectator mode, same way that you can see all the camps that are down. In some cases, you can still understand that this happened because the plant's vision wave will be on top or next to your ward. But, on that clip, the only ward that was close was the control ward in tri-brush, which was not close enough.
Knowing how to manage waves is the answer in my opinion, these tips are useful but managing a wave well is gonna save you 99% of the time even if you didnt warded
If I shouldn't crash the second wave what else should I do? I like to push the second wave to gain prio and ward and since the wave is slow pushing and it's too early to get dove I don't lose anything. So if what I'm doing is bad what else should I do?

Just what I needed. I swear I play aggro the first 3 waves, burn enemy flash and then freeze. Free gank for my jgl right? I have not seen that person since season 9. Meanwhile I take one step past the midway point of midlane and INSTANTLY I get ganked by enemy jungle, enemy support and sometimes the enemy jungle from the last game (usually if I take an additional step past the midway point of midlane)... @@pbarrantesch understandable. I wasn't blaming it all on jungle, I have played with some amazing jungles who capitalized on both freezes and prio. The frustration when it comes to jungle and midlane is that sometimes neither of them pays attention to what the other is doing/wants to do. Sometimes the jungler needs help, other times he wasn't paying attention to the lane state and didn't capitalize on it. It's the lack of awareness on both sides that is causing unfortunate events and it is this that I am looking to improve on. And this video is a great start!
@@Vatrea I always get the lanes that spam ping for ganks but are already 0/4 and expect a jungler 4 levels under their laner to help somehow, if they play safe and probably give up first tower instead of kills it's easier to get back into the game than making the jungler get further behind

Good guide, but I have a problem with it as I don't understand which junglers would fall into which category. I'm low elo, but have been playing for a reasonable time, it's just that I don't play jg champs so think will find this difficult. I also think the timing of dropping the early wards isn't always possible due to what's happening in lane at the time. Any advice there to avoid face checking after those timing windows? I like the minimap sound reminder idea, going to give that a go for a few games.

Thai there’s like a 3 pixel difference in placement, not enough for one spot to be “lazy” and the other one to be a guaranteed good ward via “autopilot”

I had around 5 games where my team mates had less than 10 vision score at 15 min It's quite literally impossible to help their bean sized brains if they don't ward, they think it's S2 where you need to buy the regular wards
Shows top lane auto wards for red side , 1 close if defensive 1 far if offensive , me an intellectual , control ward in tribush and warding totem in the other one XD. It's funny because in pre Gold II games pretty much nobody wards for their lane, rarely if they ward the drake or herald/baron. Supports might drop some wards from time to time tho.
just play jungle and you will learn how the junglers move most of the times so you can ward properly it's really not that hard to track the enemy jungler and maybe even save your botlane from dying when you are top because you kept track of the jungler or just be careful if you don't know where the jungler is and try to communicate to your team about it if they just flame you or your teammates that means it's their fault and you should probably just mute them
Low elo you don't have to be super efficient clearing and have risk of losing a whole side, that being said take goofy routes and as you climb you will be able to figure out where people ward and get around them
When I slowpush the first and I fastpush rhe second, the third pushes back into me slowly. Does this mean I only can do this against full-clear jungler?

the vision radius of pinks is shorter than the vision radius of Eve. This means she sees the ward before it sees her, which makes it so they are very easy to avoid Pinks work better on mid to late game where she cant clear or avoid them as easily, but they're mostly useless in laning

I think this is intentional, so they give the enemy time to react. Syndra stun would be impossible to dodge without the delay between q and e.

1 more thing I do that my friends have confirmed helps them a lot. If you spot an enemy jungler ping it!!! You cannot, especially in soloQ rely on your teammates to have the same level of map awareness especially while you are still climbing, and this will let them know where the jungler is even if they slack on checking their minimap properly
one thing thats confusing to me: in the videos on laning and trading, you often point out that slow pushing and getting level 2 first along with a minion advantage is the best way to win the 1v1, but if you do that, your wave is always on their side of the river,, but not yet under their tower at the time when the jungle gank will get there. even if you see the jungler on a ward, backing off means your slowpushing wave will kill their wave while you're outside of xp range, putting you a whole wave behind, in which case you still lost lane to jungle even if you avoided dying or burning flash. is there some trick to this?
also, at the beginning of the video (1:00) you say not to ward the bush as blue side in top lane, because it's a "lazy ward that wont save you", but then later in the video (2:00) you say that same exact bush is the correct auto-pilot ward spot for a blue side top laner???

On 8:15 they made a mistake. The plant trigger is only visible due to the fact that this is spectator mode, same way that you can see all the camps that are down. In some cases, you can still understand that this happened because the plant's vision wave will be on top or next to your ward. But, on that clip, the only ward that was close was the control ward in tri-brush, which was not close enough.
If the cone hits the edge of your vision at any point you will be able to see them hit it

I like to push the second wave to gain prio and ward and since the wave is slow pushing and it's too early to get dove I don't lose anything.

Just what I needed. I swear I play aggro the first 3 waves, burn enemy flash and then freeze. Free gank for my jgl right? I have not seen that person since season 9.
Meanwhile I take one step past the midway point of midlane and INSTANTLY I get ganked by enemy jungle, enemy support and sometimes the enemy jungle from the last game (usually if I take an additional step past the midway point of midlane)... Give a girl a break...

@@pbarrantesch understandable. I wasn't blaming it all on jungle, I have played with some amazing jungles who capitalized on both freezes and prio. The frustration when it comes to jungle and midlane is that sometimes neither of them pays attention to what the other is doing/wants to do. Sometimes the jungler needs help, other times he wasn't paying attention to the lane state and didn't capitalize on it. It's the lack of awareness on both sides that is causing unfortunate events and it is this that I am looking to improve on. And this video is a great start!
Guess the lesson here is to communicate more...but it's so hard...
@@Vatrea I always get the lanes that spam ping for ganks but are already 0/4 and expect a jungler 4 levels under their laner to help somehow, if they play safe and probably give up first tower instead of kills it's easier to get back into the game than making the jungler get further behind

Good guide, but I have a problem with it as I don't understand which junglers would fall into which category. I'm low elo, but have been playing for a reasonable time, it's just that I don't play jg champs so think will find this difficult.
I also think the timing of dropping the early wards isn't always possible due to what's happening in lane at the time. Any advice there to avoid face checking after those timing windows?

Bloodshade i think the first one was wrong because the position of the first ward is too close to the lane which gives u less time to react to ganks, while the 2nd ward at 2:00 was placed deeper which provides you more vision of the river and tribush
Thai there’s like a 3 pixel difference in placement, not enough for one spot to be “lazy” and the other one to be a guaranteed good ward via “autopilot”
Hey guys, why do you propose to put ward for bot a bit deeper in the river, but not on blue side top? I personally find this ward on the closest side of pit quite helpful, since most junglers are so used to brush ward

just play jungle and you will learn how the junglers move most of the times so you can ward properly it's really not that hard to track the enemy jungler and maybe even save your botlane from dying when you are top because you kept track of the jungler or just be careful if you don't know where the jungler is and try to communicate to your team about it if they just flame you or your teammates that means it's their fault and you should probably just mute them

Low elo you don't have to be super efficient clearing and have risk of losing a whole side, that being said take goofy routes and as you climb you will be able to figure out where people ward and get around them

@@alliance3520 having the 3rd wave be fast pushed under helps the most because of how long that wave is under their tower, being a cannon wave, and you can play super safe without losing anything. Same can be said if they push it into you, you can freeze a cannon wave but that forces a gank to help break the freeze safely or they make a bad roam for free kills in low elo

the vision radius of pinks is shorter than the vision radius of Eve. This means she sees the ward before it sees her, which makes it so they are very easy to avoid
Pinks work better on mid to late game where she cant clear or avoid them as easily, but they're mostly useless in laning

I wish everything that happened after patch 10.8 was reverted. Double kill participation over the enemy jungler, but still outleveled? Excuse me? You get a homeguard after dying? So you're telling me that instead of getting a faster reset after a play, the person who gets said reset is the player who died? The jungle pool had Elise, Lee Sin, Rek'sai, Shaco, Olaf, Trundle and so many other powerful picks and now its just Graves, Kayn and Fiddlesticks left and right. Not to mention mobi boots nerf, Leona, Nautilus, Sett, Thresh and Bard all getting nerfed, Lulu buffed into the strongest champion in the game and left there, mid lane roaming nerfs. Is there anyone who enjoys the boring power farm meta?
