ok, so the game is as much about death as it is about staying alive which i feel has just explained the babies. as the women says, everything those invisible beings touch fast forwards in time so having those babies (vessels) attached to the player would give the player the chance to take over the vessel on the event of death. after they take over the baby/vessel, they would ultimately come back as a man again as they would have been touched and therefore the baby/vessel goes forward in time. the babies are still connected by what appears to be a kind of umbilical chord, so naturally i feel its possible for the players soul to enter them before they are truly born. or perhaps because of the way the vessel chamber thingy is, it may be possible for the men in the game to carry fresh new born babies, as apposed to it just being on the women. my guess is, with it being a kojima game, these babies/vessels are going to be hard to find and you will be as much forced to try stay alive as you would risking your life to progress certain elements of the story. obviously with death being a part of the game you might have to cleverly think when is best to sacrifice yourself. (or maybe men can conceive using the special casing the babies grow in) i cant wait for this game, it looks very intriguing and im sure it will be very good from the metal gear developer.

This game will not be for everyone I think. The gameplay seems very patient, calm and time consuming. It honestly looks like Breath Of The Wild at the pace of an electric wheelchair.

Both you and Daryl are right, Kojima is know for his super-dynamic-rich gameplay that goes from slow to fast, emotional drama to action back and forth in a way i rarely see in any modern game. If you ever played any of his other games you'd actually notice that. But i gotta disagree about it being slow to the point that it might sound boring just because every other game nowadays throw you right into immersive action gameplay that you can barely have the patience to have fun with a nice touch of a classical slow paced gameplay. That's why Kojima's games are some of my favorite.
This is the game changer for gaming right here. If companies don't do what Hideo is doing by starting from complete scratch I think they are going to have major issues in the long run. When the new Gen of gamers play this they are going to crave for new ideas and expect nothing less from new games. Like us old Gen gamers do.

We were told what the game was about, Sam even said it “I make deliveries...that’s all” and so many people are trashing the game. Pathetic! 😤 But so many people are loving the game. I’m definitely going to try it myself.
Just the walking around and stealth bit look exactly the same as MGSV movements. just going off that i can expect at a minimum MGSV as in gameplay mechanics.
We have seen Sam(norman) bring gun out along with Mads Mikkelsen army of skeletons. you can reasonably expect combat and stealth with the invisible monsters roaming about and certain characters have super powers so those could be boss battles. and remember when first MGS5 trailers came out they just showed Snake rock climbing and equipment changes along with the Idroid.
It depends on the pacing of the game. If those delivery scenes are in between heart pounding scenes it will be fine. Doesn't seem like an action game, more like an outlast game with less jump scares and more mystery. Definitely looks like a niche story driven game though, certainly not for everybody.
I feel like a lot of people are forgetting the other trailers which showed mads and his paranormal pmc etc, there is definitely much more action to this game and I love that they're keeping it secret. The game as it is oozes atmosphere.
Kojima said something about this game representing a rope over a stick, and how he wants us to approach action differently by treating it like a rope which we use to secure things. I think Mads may represent the stick mentality.

it would be interesting to see how "dying" could actually be a part of the game play mechanics, kind of like Dark Souls.

This game will not be for everyone I think. The gameplay seems very patient, calm and time consuming.
It honestly looks like Breath Of The Wild at the pace of an electric wheelchair.
Most Kojima games were calm stealth, but no I expect there will be completely different gameplay and atmosphere while night.
If MGSV was anything to go by, this will be emptier than BOTW.
Alexander A.M. Kojima practically invented the video game stealth genre. His games are the few stealth heavy games I can stand.
Dizzy Dizzy it's a post apocalyptic world, why wouldn't it be empty? You wouldn't go around a zombie apocalypse IRL and find thriving settlements everywhere.
Both you and Daryl are right, Kojima is know for his super-dynamic-rich gameplay that goes from slow to fast, emotional drama to action back and forth in a way i rarely see in any modern game. If you ever played any of his other games you'd actually notice that.
But i gotta disagree about it being slow to the point that it might sound boring just because every other game nowadays throw you right into immersive action gameplay that you can barely have the patience to have fun with a nice touch of a classical slow paced gameplay. That's why Kojima's games are some of my favorite.

This is the game changer for gaming right here. If companies don't do what Hideo is doing by starting from complete scratch I think they are going to have major issues in the long run. When the new Gen of gamers play this they are going to crave for new ideas and expect nothing less from new games. Like us old Gen gamers do.
Really, the most appealing aspect of this game, to me, is that it gives me a setting for me to identify my morbidly crippling depression with.

I pretty much had to do that when I was 10. I stubbed my toe bad enough that the nail peeled off.
i dropped a 10kg weight on my toe and had too removed as well. That part of the trailer gave me some serious PTSD
i've done it a couple times, it's an actual hell, purgatory will be doing that over and over again.
See this is how you actually supposed do a trailer not spoiling anything just make the person think "What? i have to know more."
No this trailer made me lose all interest in the game and makes me suspicious of why they aren't showing some actual real gameplay, that's a bad sign
Ok to correct myself, that probably is some gameplay they are showing, but it looks terribly boring lol
Just the walking around and stealth bit look exactly the same as MGSV movements. just going off that i can expect at a minimum MGSV as in gameplay mechanics.
We have seen Sam(norman) bring gun out along with Mads Mikkelsen army of skeletons. you can reasonably expect combat and stealth with the invisible monsters roaming about and certain characters have super powers so those could be boss battles.
and remember when first MGS5 trailers came out they just showed Snake rock climbing and equipment changes along with the Idroid.
It depends on the pacing of the game. If those delivery scenes are in between heart pounding scenes it will be fine. Doesn't seem like an action game, more like an outlast game with less jump scares and more mystery. Definitely looks like a niche story driven game though, certainly not for everybody.

I feel like a lot of people are forgetting the other trailers which showed mads and his paranormal pmc etc, there is definitely much more action to this game and I love that they're keeping it secret. The game as it is oozes atmosphere.
Kojima said something about this game representing a rope over a stick, and how he wants us to approach action differently by treating it like a rope which we use to secure things. I think Mads may represent the stick mentality.
