Sam hooks up the flashing device to the fetus pod, which as we saw in the previous trailers, seems to give the characters the ability to more directly sense the black entities. This fetus, its flesh, seems to be more in tune with the current state of the world, allowing others to do likewise. "Give me your hand in spirit." The timefall can't wash everything away. The past just won't let go. The woman who appears at the end of the trailer seems to be the one in the photo Sam carries, but he doesn't remember her. Sam's memories are lost, somehow, but their relationship, whatever it may be, has survived in spirit.
i think the baby is their cloning, so when they get fast forward and die the baby became their version of themselves because of fast forward. and they got machine to sense the black entities anyway.
Momogi that's what it's looking like to me based on what I've seen. They've already shown that when you die you go to the spirit world that kinda looks like you're underwater so I guess you swim around to find the grown up clone body to inhabit.
Momogi In that case the relation between the person and his/her baby clone would be unique, but we saw in previous trailers different people holding the same baby.
"Aliens" means anything out of this world. It's way more open as a word than "souls from purgatory". So unless you think those things live on earth, they are aliens.

It's Solid Snake during his time off before Shadow Moses. The creature was a protype Metal Gear with hands and stealth camoflouge. The baby was another clone. The bad guys are what's left of the skulls trying to make a comback. The woman was Eva. Okay I'm lost.
To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if we see 75% of the cutscenes by the time it comes out. Kojima over indulges himself when it comes to showing a trailer. He did this with MGS5.

Possibly. The only problem with that theory is that Sam uses the baby's power to see the floating creatures, yet he tells Lea Seydoux's character that he can't see them.
So it's basically a deliveroo simulator where you're chased by some invisible dude who appears to be doing handstands everywhere and smells so bad you have to hold your breath around him. I'm sold.
After watching this I really appreciate all the work the delivery men do day after day. Even when the world ends, they still keep working hard for us. This game takes deliveries to a whole new level, the hero level!

For me, with every trailer they release, my expectations only got higher. I feel like I'm genuinely excited for its premises at this point. I've never been one of the MGS Fanboys, but this time I think Kojima's creative direction is more effective than it ever was.

C'mon. I don't get why people are complaining about this being confusing. This is called being actually original. To create new things, to be innovative you have to think out of the box and Kojima surely did. This is most likely a world wherein which what we consider 'normal' is not and so the character has to adapt to its mechanics. That is real originality right there. We portray aliens as humanoids with similar characteristics to humans but it doesn't have to be like that. I think this is a refreshing concept that will open the door to new ideas and experiences. That's what gaming is about, experiencing new things, things we can't experience in real life.
No one is complaining about this being confusing. They are confused but want to find out what going on. That's human nature, we are a very curious species. I think you have a very pessimistic mindset.
Alethorn people are definitely getting off this train after this E3. There's only so many times you can show random stuff with no explanation and expect people to not get tired of it. Just take a look at the cast: Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen - great, badass actors. Lea Seydoux and Lindsey Wagner - beautiful and amazing actresses. Guilermo del Toro - an excellent director, recently won the Oscar for best picture. We also have Troy Baker, one of the best voice actors, and Stefanie Joosten - Quiet😍. And the mastermind behind it all - Hideo Kojima. This it, chief!
To be honest, this walking is not so bad, the environment, the sounds and the simple beauty of the scenery is incredible, and they still need to reveal the combat system, this excites me.
Remember the part where this song started and in front of you was a majestic view of Port Knot City? Such an amazing moment.

This fetus, its flesh, seems to be more in tune with the current state of the world, allowing others to do likewise.
"Give me your hand in spirit." The timefall can't wash everything away. The past just won't let go. The woman who appears at the end of the trailer seems to be the one in the photo Sam carries, but he doesn't remember her. Sam's memories are lost, somehow, but their relationship, whatever it may be, has survived in spirit.
i think the baby is their cloning, so when they get fast forward and die the baby became their version of themselves because of fast forward. and they got machine to sense the black entities anyway.
Momogi that's what it's looking like to me based on what I've seen. They've already shown that when you die you go to the spirit world that kinda looks like you're underwater so I guess you swim around to find the grown up clone body to inhabit.

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if we see 75% of the cutscenes by the time it comes out. Kojima over indulges himself when it comes to showing a trailer. He did this with MGS5.

C'mon. I don't get why people are complaining about this being confusing. This is called being actually original. To create new things, to be innovative you have to think out of the box and Kojima surely did.
This is most likely a world wherein which what we consider 'normal' is not and so the character has to adapt to its mechanics. That is real originality right there. We portray aliens as humanoids with similar characteristics to humans but it doesn't have to be like that. I think this is a refreshing concept that will open the door to new ideas and experiences. That's what gaming is about, experiencing new things, things we can't experience in real life.
Reminds me of "I am Legend" book somewhat. Of its concept.
