I’m at 1850 miles on my 10+ and still love it but the handlebars needed to be replaced as well as the suspension. The vinyl inserts on the shock mount points are worn down needing replacement and the metal coils aren’t hardened properly so as you increase the resistance it doesn’t last long and you end up having to do it more, I have already lost half the travel distance just trying to keep it stiff. The loose handlebar wobble mixed with the suspension issue makes for a very unstable ride especially at 40+ so unfortunately they will need to be replaced and in my opinion sooner is better, I haven’t wiped but I got really close to a high speed crash because of the combination of those issues. As for the speed limits I’m not sure what’s up with the differences between the results of this video versus my scooter because I ride on a 45mph road that everyone does 50-55 on and I keep up with traffic so my scooter definitely seems closer to if not faster than 50mph based on traffic but I realize that’s just anecdotal so I’ll have to gps that later to see, also I’m only 155lbs and I imagine that they hit those speeds with a light rider. It wouldn't be hard at all to change the handlebars. I actually like them a lot though, and wouldn't change them out if I had one. I've heard that there is a right angle adapter for the throttle that could really help the angle, but I haven't seen one in person yet to confirm. -Paul
In Australia 🇭🇲 The electric scooter top speed is just 15 mph, I find it's too slow 😑!! I already have Vsett 10+ and Zero 10x. Moreover, I've already remove speed limiter!! And it goes faster!! I reach up to 35 mph (when no police officers, speed cameras and no one else nearby e.g. cyclist 🚲).
I'm looking forward to trying it out soon....awesome review...nice that they got the light to a useful level for night rides....Cheers from BC Canada :)
Definitely a nice scooter I just recently got a used Varla eagle one for $900, I love the way it rides, I plan to beat on it and take if off roading, I would be too scared to take the vsett off roading but when I need to upgrade I will definitely consider that Vsett, love the color combo.
Great question! I love both scooters. The Wolf King is freaky-fast, and just on another level in terms of acceleration. But, the King also has a much more abrupt throttle and is an absolute beast to move around. If you are a total throttle junkie, the King may be worth it. But the 10+ is still super fun on the throttle and satisfying to ride. I'm looking at both of them in the office right now. If I think about grabbing them and riding them, I look at the Vsett10+ and say "lets go". I look at the King and say "are you sure you're up for this right now?" It's that much of an intense machine, that if you are on the King in top performance mode, you have to keep all of your attention on the ride all the time. The Vsett10+ is still sporty, but lets you chill for a minute if you need to. I'm looking forward to the King GT, to see if the throttle has smoothed out. If so, it could be best-of-both-worlds amazing. -Paul
really wish there was a video top 10 of like ultra portable scooters, prioritizing: folds up neatly, under 30 lbs or so, 15+mi range, ride comfort/quality. 40 lbs gets a bit heavy at times.
This is a good idea. It's been a while since we've looked at Ultra-Portables, and I don't know if we've done a larger-sized comparison. Chuck's first scooter was an ultra-portable! -Paul th-cam.com/video/ea4k9mi1Xcc/w-d-xo.html
Braking-wise, either one is going to get the job done. I would say not that big of a deal. The main place I notice is that the reserviors take up more space, forcing the trigger to be higher. This bugs some people more than others and some aren't bothered by it at all. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide i heard zoom brakes have longer lever travel distance and with short fingers it harder to reach, cant compare them, because i dont have Nutt
the range depends on how fast you drive, plus if there's a person that weight much or alot of upwards hills, i've tested this myself and the range is longer that what is look like here
I’m looking for something with a suspension that is relatively soft due to my riding style. Would this be a good option? If not, could you make a suggestion.
Why does a scooter costing this much still manage to have so many basic design flaws? The manufacturers seem to lack a lot of very basic mechanical and electrical knowhow, and just choose to put together a bunch of outsourced components that work together after a fashion, but do not inspire any confidence that they will still be working well in a couple of years time.
We're very picky when we look scooters over and no matter how good scooters get, we're going to find places where we think they could be even better. I love riding the Vsett 10+. It's one of the better scooters I've ever ridden. -Paul

Does the vsett have a sinewave controller or smooth control over the throttle like sinewave, and how about the phantom? Finally, what about the Inkom OXO, compared to the phantom and vsett?
I'm curious if segway are the only ones that know how to make a quality stem clip for portability... you'd think if you pay over 1000 it would be better quality. My low end Es4 holds up nicely and that was just 700$..
For sure. Waiting on the 60V Phantom for that. All of the scooters we included in the test were 60V. Phantom build and ride quality are excellent, but at 52V the current version won't be as fast as the Vsett 10+ for sure. -Paul

in 02.36, may i ask what speed you used to test range? was it full speed without "turbo" mode / dual/single motor or a speed like 40-50 km/h which both scooters easily achieve?
Im thinking about getting this scooter, the only downsides i hear is the short deck and the weirdly placed throttle. Would you guys recommend any other scooters thats around this price with good specs and better throttle and deck? Thanks
the 10x is very dated now wheras the 10+ is a brand new beast. a better comparison would have been against the mantis pro or something along those lines.
The other scooters included in the review are the Mantis Pro and the Dualtron Eagle Pro. :-) But we thought the contrast with the 10X was interesting because of the Vsett's lineage. -Paul th-cam.com/video/tO_8cr_ELvA/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much James! Those are both great scooters, but very different rides. The Ghost is super sporty and has adrenaline-rush inspiring acceleration. The Cruiser will get you places just as fast, but is much less intense on acceleration and is much more of a chill ride. Longer range for the cruiser, but higher top speed for the Ghost. The Ghost will handle huge bumps better than the Cruiser, but the Cruiser has all the suspension you need for normal on-road riding. -Paul

Yes, and you can adjust the level. Honestly, e-ABS is worthless though. True ABS interrupts the brake line and makes it so you can't lock the brakes. You can totally still lock the brakes with e-ABS on. I'm glad the scooter companies are trying things like this, but I don't think e-ABS is useful at all on any scooter, yet. -Paul

Zero 10x 3k in nz is what I've got vsett $3500 i was going to get the vsett but na i want the hero 10x it's a beautiful machine.
We like the Vsett line!
What’s up with the ergonomics? Can it not be adjusted or altered to other components ?
It wouldn't be hard at all to change the handlebars. I actually like them a lot though, and wouldn't change them out if I had one.
I've heard that there is a right angle adapter for the throttle that could really help the angle, but I haven't seen one in person yet to confirm. -Paul
What do you think of the Vsett 10 Apex? We are talking about an improved version of the Vsett 10 +.
We have not tested the apex one
In Australia 🇭🇲
The electric scooter top speed is just 15 mph, I find it's too slow 😑!!
I already have Vsett 10+ and Zero 10x. Moreover, I've already remove speed limiter!! And it goes faster!!
I reach up to 35 mph (when no police officers, speed cameras and no one else nearby e.g. cyclist 🚲).
Very insightful! Thanks for watching. -Vosk
I'm looking forward to trying it out soon....awesome review...nice that they got the light to a useful level for night rides....Cheers from BC Canada :)
Thank you! -Paul
Which is a better scooter? The vsett 10+ or the wolf warrior 11
10 inch tires vs 11? are you serious?
Definitely a nice scooter I just recently got a used Varla eagle one for $900, I love the way it rides, I plan to beat on it and take if off roading, I would be too scared to take the vsett off roading but when I need to upgrade I will definitely consider that Vsett, love the color combo.
I hope they send you guy’s the updated versions with the new throttle & display.
Hopefully! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide 🙏🏾😎☝️
Do you guys think the wolf king is worth the 700 dollars more than the vsett 10+
-Paul
WK is heavy
I really would love to see the comparison between Nanrobot D6+ vs VSETT 10+ and Zero 10X, possible ?
really wish there was a video top 10 of like ultra portable scooters, prioritizing: folds up neatly, under 30 lbs or so, 15+mi range, ride comfort/quality. 40 lbs gets a bit heavy at times.
This is a good idea. It's been a while since we've looked at Ultra-Portables, and I don't know if we've done a larger-sized comparison. Chuck's first scooter was an ultra-portable! -Paul
th-cam.com/video/ea4k9mi1Xcc/w-d-xo.html
how big of a deal are the zoom vs nutt brakes?
Braking-wise, either one is going to get the job done. I would say not that big of a deal. The main place I notice is that the reserviors take up more space, forcing the trigger to be higher. This bugs some people more than others and some aren't bothered by it at all. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide i heard zoom brakes have longer lever travel distance and with short fingers it harder to reach, cant compare them, because i dont have Nutt
the range depends on how fast you drive, plus if there's a person that weight much or alot of upwards hills, i've tested this myself and the range is longer that what is look like here
You are absolutely correct!
Mantis pro means the mantis king gt or is another model?
excelente review
-Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide That’s a glowing review. I want one!!!
Huh?
Just got this as my first scooter, My question is why is the right hand brake controlling the front wheel?.... isn't it supposed to control the rear wheel?
That is correct way on scooters! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Vosk its soo trippy....First ride almost did a front wheel stand lol. All life riding bikes and even motorcycles, all of them have right hand brakes that are responsible for rear wheel, it's actually a US standard.. Can't get used to it ...dumb
How do your feet stay on. How did Raimer like them?
You had me pausing and saying nope right after you said the price... dont they make any that are equal in quality but cheap in price?
Apollo Phantom V2 (with V3 upgrade kit later on) or Vsett 10+ :D? If suspension and ride comfort is of utmost importance
Both excellent! Can’t go wrong with either to be honest. Depends what you like better when it comes to looks. -Vosk
Cool
The best onne i ever seen !!
So big angle from throttle and brake lever is because its Zoom brakes, Nutt brakes have less angle
I have a question about the Scooter Vsett 10+ Is it waterproof can I use it when it rains I hope to get a clear answer Thanks
Light rain should be okay!
What about a Vsett 10+ vs the Apollo Phantom? That's something many are looking forward to.
For sure. Waiting on the 60V Phantom for that. All of the scooters we included in the test were 60V. Phantom build and ride quality are excellent, but at 52V the current version won't be as fast as the Vsett 10+ for sure. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
And now that the Phantom V2 60V is available, what is your verdict if we compare it with the Vsett 10+?
I remember i read somewhere that they are both made in the same factory apollo and vsett
@@SuperJeggo
Yes! Exactly!
Did you test the top speed in sport mode?
Yes. For sure. -Paul
To me best scooter for the mony, compact, you can cary him. Spead is 60km +sport mode for skuter that Is more than I need .
It’s an excellent scooter for sure! -Vosk
The height of the handle bars looked short when Ramier was riding it.
They are very good height for RAMIER! -Vosk
Definitely not how it looks to me! I can't find this info even in VSETT webpage, what is the height from deck to handlebars?@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
I want to spend less than 2k. I am looking at this, Wolf Warrior X, Apollo Ghost, Varla Eagle One, and Blade X Pro or Blade 10. Looking for something over 40mph but under 80lbs. Which do you think is the best? I would like to see you guys do a review of the Blade scooters.
We will try to review a blade scooter in the future! In the list you have the ghost is a excellent choice. -Vosk
I really this scooter , is it American made ?,how fast is the shipping ?
Thankyou
Not US made! Made in China. -Vosk
in 02.36, may i ask what speed you used to test range? was it full speed without "turbo" mode / dual/single motor or a speed like 40-50 km/h which both scooters easily achieve?
Speed test is average 18-20mph
Im thinking about getting this scooter, the only downsides i hear is the short deck and the weirdly placed throttle. Would you guys recommend any other scooters thats around this price with good specs and better throttle and deck? Thanks
Deck is decent! It’s not short! -Vosk
How many flat tires have you had?
How will this compare with the upcoming Kaabo Mantis King GT ?
Full review is coming shortly!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Great, thanks. I'm pretty sure I want to buy either the Vsette 10+ or the Mantis King GT. I just can't decide which one !
Vsett 10+ or the Apollo Phantom V2?! Which is better?
Vsett overall better, you're looking for reliability when it comes to scooters.
You can take the handle bars off can you move the break an throttle
Insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
how would u compare it to the NAMI Burn e, which would u recommand?
Nami overall is a better scooter
Suspension , battery , top speed , build
-Vosk
the 10x is very dated now wheras the 10+ is a brand new beast.
a better comparison would have been against the mantis pro or something along those lines.
The other scooters included in the review are the Mantis Pro and the Dualtron Eagle Pro. :-)
But we thought the contrast with the 10X was interesting because of the Vsett's lineage. -Paul
th-cam.com/video/tO_8cr_ELvA/w-d-xo.html
Why not the varla one?
Can I change the restriction on the speed ? Because where I'm from we can't go more the 25kms an hour
Yes there should be a way how to!
I love my Vsett 10+ R 28 MH. A lot better then my E-Move cruiser on build quality and mechanic maintenance… 🔧 🔨 🔩
It’s a great scooter
Could i use the Zero 10x throttle on the Vsett 10+?
Please ask your local dealer
Esg as always amazing content! What would you recommend between apollo ghost and the emove cruiser? I'm trying to decide which one to get.
-Paul
Can we get a review and test comparison on the Vsett9+ with others in the same price range!? Please can't decide which to get vsett9+, mantis 10 or new emove cruiser
Vsett 9+ for leisure summer including offroading, Emove for heavy rain commuting, mantis for a stressful life
Vsett 10 plus honestly I was un the same boat as you. Picked vsett 9 plus in Sweden then upgraded to 10 plus lost 100 euros in the process
Would you suggest the vsett 10 over the phantom v3
Both are good but we like the phantom better. It’s actually on sale right now geni.us/ApolloPhantomV3
You should test solar R1 from uk it would match the vendetta scooter
There is no seat option for the VSETT 10+ and I want to ride seated sometimes, my Zero 10x with a seat is perfect for those "long" high speed runs and for even longer runs I´m waiting on my new Dualtron X2 UP ;)
Enjoy your new scooter
Where can i order a vsett10+ if i live in Romania ?
No idea to be honest!
I wonder if the newer 2023 version is any faster?
We have not tested that one yet!
Why its the same 30-35a controller, no difference🤷♂️
Can you do a a scooter video with all the different scooters with detachable battery. I'm having a lot of trouble trying to figure out which one is best for me. Trying to commute to school with 20+ miles round trip, and being able to charge the battery while in class with the scooter locked outside

I think the upcoming Apollo Phantom V2 is a more polished product over the VSETT 10+ , they are also equal in price and spec's
Have any experience with either. I’m looking at both.
Great review Paul and ESG. Will the vsett 9+,9,8+,8 get the same review treatment?? Better ip rating and high mounted front light and high mounted turn signals, and thumb throttle options are all the vsetts are missing!
Thank you so much. We're not sure when we'll get to the other ones. We don't have the other scooters in house. The closest we've done to the 8 is the Splach Turbo.

Hey ESG I have a idea regarding the testing, pros and cons conclusions on these scooters and thought maybe one more thing that can be implemented in the videos is reliability ratings from 1/10 by researching customers complaints or problems or there reviews and what not? Alot ppl like performance scooters but want to know if they reliable for longer terms
Thanks for the suggestions
Is it true it has high speed wobbles sum say yes others say they’ve never had this issue while most say a damper is absolutely necessary. Can anyone confirm please???
A dampener would definitely make it a smoother ride for sure! -Vosk
I got a $1500 saved up so far, can't want to save up more to buy this.... coming from the Hero X8 which starting to fall apart on me and don't feel safe riding anymore.....

... OG GONE ELECTRIC ...
...... OG ON WHEELS ......
Thanks so much for the kind words!
Great video! I think I'm about to get one. Does the vsett10+ have ABS?
Yes, and you can adjust the level. Honestly, e-ABS is worthless though. True ABS interrupts the brake line and makes it so you can't lock the brakes. You can totally still lock the brakes with e-ABS on. I'm glad the scooter companies are trying things like this, but I don't think e-ABS is useful at all on any scooter, yet. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide how exactly does e-abs work? I'm guessing it applies torque to the wheels to overcome brake pressure.
When can we expect a VSETT 9+ review?
Could you not move up the breaks?
This is as close as they can get to each other. Once the brake housing is in contact with the throttle housing, you can move both up or down as a pair, but they can't get any closer together. -Paul
Hi I'm just curious why the Vsett 10+ wasn't included on the best scooters of 2021 list? Seems like it checks all the boxes.
Good question
