I think we can either use sanitizer .. when I tried with the alcohol based sanitizer I got my marker back

Markers made to write on CD and DVD are designed to be alcohol-free because alcohol eats into the CD surface and will damage the CD or DVD.
This method is acceptable only
for markers that will not be used on CDs or DVDs.
I think the discs that have a sticker template on them are safe to write on with permanent marker.

They don't, or at least not the ones I use. I had normal permanent marker and it was blurry on the materials like glass, CDs, leather. I had to buy alcohol-free ones to be able to write on that materials.

I didn't see permanent marker refills but you can do this a few times until it's time to replace it.
If you like the marker a lot, you can buy a new permanent marker of a similar size and transfer the sponge from the new unused market to your existing marker.

Is it the alcohol like vodka drink or is it like a metho spirits like terps ? That is sold in a hard wear store can you be more clear .
70-95% alcohol, clear without any aditives. Pharmacy, supermarket.

What to do if I dont have alcohol?
For permanent markers you need it or paint thinner I guess it would work too but that's too strong!!!
For regular markers use water or water with a bit of vinegar.
You can either use nail polish or perfume to, way easier in my opinion for me.
Perfume is an interesting option to make it unique. It would work too I believe.

If ya'll don't have rubbing alcohol just use some fresh sink water,and shake the marker and Boom! Brand New Marker! That's how i do it
