Such a classy civic. That thing is Mint. I remember a civic pulling up to my STI. He asked for a run, I leaned over to look at his tires and we both laughed. I told him I’m good but I’d love to see a launch and man that was the craziest street launch I ever seen. Those Hondas are so disrespectful ❤

I had my old boss told me(those 70 years old workaholic inherited millionaire white guy ) when he first bought his z06 new corvette with some light mods. He tried to play with a Honda on the freeway , but saw the rollcage and heard turbo spooling in the honda. He backed off. shiet was funny.. Old like him i thought he didn't know since he doesn't sound like a Built/work on his own car guy. More like I like fast cars, make it fast here's xxxx amount of money type of guy. But i guess he knows not to mess with just ANY honda. lmfao

Any car is fast if you dial it properly. That honda is fast because it was dialed in. it's not always about high horsepower. I remember back then we running 300hp stock B series boost on pump gas against 500-800hp on e85 honda on the streets with no prep. it was Hilarious.. We knew we had a chance since it'll spin while our stock motor 300 dialed in car will go from point a to point b with minimal spins on the streets with stock axles! Those 500-800 hp honda was sending Everything from 1st to 4th gear on full boost while we're on boost by gear.🤫🤫🤭🤭🤭😁😁😆😆😆😆🤣🤣😂😂

It just kills me when someone is willing to build motor and trans but wont do the necessary work to launch. Thats where it's starts. 60 foot times, reaction time. Theres too many variables trying to start when both cars rolling.
If anyone is looking for a well sorted AWD turbo Honda, lmk. I am selling my 05 EP3, 535whp, BF gears trans, S1 ds/vc, Recaro seats, Type R bits, etc. Currently runs 11.4s on the street with 205 tires. Could easily run a 10 on a prep'd surface or with a better tire.

Ok, so i don't like electrical cars. Yes they are good as daily's but fun? no. Thing is, they have made tuning your car to "go fast" irrelevant. I understand if your chasing the excitement or smiles per gallon in a gt-86, or a Boxster or chasing track times in a gt350, ETC. But the people chasing quarter mile times or racing people in rolls, as much as you want to admit. A 60 year old mom from the suburbs can take her husbands money and buy a plaid and smoke you and your turbo civic, turbo z, you name it. Just knowing that, chasing speed has become pointless. Give me a 2007 Boxster and a canyon and ill be good.

I disagree. I’m 46 yrs old and it’s always been fun to build something that can take down something someone else bought. Especially when your build cost less. I have two friends with manual trains cars that destroy Teslas, plaid included. The satisfaction of going around an electric car bagging gears and all they can hear is the sound of pure testosterone blowing in their face is absolutely wonderful! Especially when you know they can hear nothing but you because there cars make sound.😆😆😆😆
With that logic, don’t take turns either. They’re taking over circuit tracks as well.

K series make easy power on a budget. You could get 600whp for less than $8k installed. Going awd and sequential is BIG money though.
Fully Built K series, Turbo, AWD, with a Sequential transmission . I'd say 50k plus parts & labor.
