We're enjoying all of these videos from around the world. Thank you both so much for taking us along on this journey!
Thank you so much for coming along with us on our journey.
Another great episode! I so enjoy watching these. I haven't missed a single one! I'll be so sad when this is over and you go home!
Thanks so much for your kind words. And although we miss our family, we will be sad when this is over as well.
Hi Nancy & Mike. My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week Mediterranean cruise. I’m not sure if you are visiting Gibraltar at any point but I immediately thought of you Nancy as there is a small stand of Christmas decorations in the terminal building.
Also, we visited Rome but sadly we became the victims of pick pockets on the metro. We had been so vigilant all day, 2 jostled my disabled husband and 2 cornered me, I tried my best to get to him and any thoughts of protecting my bad were gone. We lost money and our cruise cards so getting back on ship was an education. Fortunately we weren’t hurt just very shaken and angry. I know this can happen anywhere and I’m sure you are vigilant wherever you go.
I’m so enjoying your videos, they are so informative and honest. Looking forward to the rest of your journey. Love to you both. 🇬🇧
So very sorry that happened to you!
I am so sorry to hear that. Happened to you. That’s horrible. Mike and I tried to be very diligent and aware of our surroundings when we’re out and about. Also, we were at Gibraltar a couple of weeks ago.
Great views of Japan. Loving all your blogs Nancy and Mike!
Glad you like them!
Something about the beauty and peace of making an ice cream rose juxtaposed with the horrors of what happened there got me 😭. I could almost feel the peace emanating. The Japanese culture is just so beautiful.
Also, hi from New Mexico!!! Didn’t know you once lived here too!!
We used to live in Rio Rancho outside of Albuquerque. Thanks for following along with us on our journey.
@@livingphase2 nice.Ive been in ABQ my whole life! If you haven’t been recently
You’d be shocked by the size Rio Rancho is now!
Hi, from NZ, l like others are really enjoy and what is more apricate the content and effort you guys are doing in these videos, enjoy this time and keep travelling safe.
Thanks so much for your kind words! We appreciate you following along with us on journey.
Thank you for taking a moment for the somber and seriousness of Nagasaki. Love how you always immerse yourselves into each stop.
Thank you.
I've been following you since the beginning of your World Cruise and have enjoyed every one of your videos. I just came back from a two week Greece and Turkey cruise and am catching up on your channel. You have really gotten me interested in visiting Japan. By the way Nancy, I love your paperclip necklace. I've been wanting one for myself! Did you buy it on your travels? I don't think I've seen it before!! Keep up the great work and keep enjoying your "Empty Nest" life.
Thanks so much. We have just finished grease yesterday and are in Morocco today. The necklace came from TJ Maxx purchased before the cruise. Thanks so much for following along with us. We appreciate you.
Hello Mike and Nancy thank you for sharing your wonderful experiences with us...i actually just went to a Daiso store that they just opened here in Phoenix....very interesting store❤❤❤you bith look great and relaxed..this world cruise really is what you 2 enjoy 😉 😀
Thanks so much. And hopefully they’ll open a Daiso in the Grand Rapids area.
Thanks for all the tips. We will be there in April 2025! Can't wait. 30 days all over Japan!
You are going to love Japan. Have a great time!
Wow, what a beautiful and moving tour. I am amazed at all of the pro tips: did RCCL share these or did you discover these with your excursion research? Sorry I ask so many questions, I find these videos not only entertaining but extremely fascinating! Thank for sharing with us!!! -Susan
Thanks, Susan, for your kind words. Our pro tips are just from our own experience of things that we run into that we want to share with others.

please
pray for world peace
It was a very beautiful place, and yes, we do pray for world peace.
We have Daiso in the States! Most of them are in the western states but there are a few in Texas and New York. Also, as soon as you walked into the "charming, happy" shop in Chinatown I knew it had to be a Studio Ghibli store. That's a Japanese animation studio known for lovely, often fantastical, family-friendly movies like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. If and when I make a trip to Japan I will have to have a special "Ghibli merch" budget set aside for just such an occasion!
That was such a sweet store to enter and poke around in. And we’re so excited to have Daiso in the states. That’s a fun shop as well.
A Japan Dollar Store, cool!!! Interesting area, thanks for sharing!!!!
This is Nancy here and it was a very fun store to poke around in.
You had return so $2freturn RT cable. What was time difference of getting cab
I enjoy your perspective on the places you visit. You both seem more relaxed as the cruise continues on.
Thanks so much!
Thank You 🙏🏻 Sharing your Adventures Enjoy and Stay Safe All Ways All
God Bless 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
I continue to be so impressed with your narrations of your travels. So informative. I look forward to every video!
Thank you so much!
Thank you Nancy and Mike! I’m having a great trip! Really wonderful videos!
Thanks so much!
Love Watching
Thank you!
Always interesting. Just wondering what camera, you are using for videos.
In some videos were using a DJI camera and in others, we are using our smart phones.
So interesting, thanks for sharing ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks like so much fun. Thank YOu for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Hi. Another interesting video. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it
I am glad to see you do what we do on cruises which is to combine excursions that are better done through the cruise line or another operator with exploring on your own in places where that is easy to do with some research on your part.
We usually do quite a bit of research on every port we stop at and choose the excursion that best fits our interests.😀
It just dawned on me…. You didn’t try the bakery hotdog in Hong Kong!
Remind me to miss that one😪
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Castella is one of my favorites. They have Daisos in Southern California.
We just had that “dollar store” open here in San Antonio. I tried to go the other day, but there is still a line to get in. At 100 degrees it is too hot to stand outside to get in.
Some of our good friends, who have family that used to live in japan, live in San Antonio and they're the ones that told us about the Daiso store we'll have to let them know there is one there now
Nancy! You look so pretty in this video! I think Japan is working for you both.
They are looking younger ! 😊
Oh thank you!🥰🥰🥰
👍
Lep pozdrav iz Slovenije
Thank you
In your catering business, what is your menu like? Will you change it after experiencing so many new foods? Blouse looks beautiful on you.
Our catering business that we own is part of a franchise. So no, we will not be changing up the food. That’s a great question though.😀
LOL As a retired teacher of 40 years.....I hated the stories in our reader that had origami projects!!!I cant do it I cant!!!!!But I had a parent Mrs We who was an expert and made amazing things with her kids! Fortunately I had all 3 of her kids so she covered 3 or 4 years of origami nightmares!
That’s great! Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself. We love hearing stories like this from our viewers.😀
🥰🎊🥰
It’s a shame you missed Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona.
We have actually seen Pearl Harbor, the Missouri, the Arizona, all of that in a previous visit to hawaii. It's a must-do when you go there.
Ok I'm unsubscribing. You've been on here almost 6 months and no ship tour. I'm starting to doubt you're really on the ship
Really?? That’s hilarious 😂
They have given a tour of the kitchen area.
I understand your frustration. We’ve actually shot the ship tour twice and have never been happy with it. We’ve just run into various snafu’s. We are definitely on the ship.
