I thought I was gonna make my own version of Stanley too but non of the ideas I'm looking for to to try to make him nice were working so I'm just gonna get the Bachmann one instead that's a better idea.
The 12 Ton Van is apparently based of the same design the N and G scale vans, so it will most likely be a new tooling that is more accurate to the show.
So its true, Bachmann is now actually making some Thomas characters that we been asking for a long time: Stanley: (OH YEAH, he’s definitely the one that I hope they’ll make. Hornby made a shed for him, but not a model of himself at all. And now look what Bachmann is doing, I love The Great Discovery its one of my top favorite films of Thomas! I’ll definitely be getting Stanley very soon in the future!) Duncan: (We all been asking for him after Rusty or Peter Sam were made. Despite Sir Handel not being released yet, it’s awesome that we’re finally seeing Duncan get announced. His CGI render may not look good, but will get used to it once he’s made. If my friend is watching this, I’ll be getting Duncan for him and Sir Handel as well!) Bulgy: (Don’t got much to say other than, its been a while since we had a road vehicle character. Bulgy is something I’ve been trying to get, but now Bachmann is making him I be sure to buy him.) Thank you Bachmann, it means a lot to me and the fans!
I didn't know Stanley is being made in Bachmann that's amazing I was so happy that Stanley is being made in Bachmann this year when do u think he will be coming out?
Excited for some of the thomas releases however I can see bachmann doing recolours already. My theory for Stanley is this. He's a potential for future releases to be re-coloured to make Charlie and Billy. And yes I'm aware there's differences between the 3 but I'm also betting that Bachmann will be aware of that and still potentially re-colour them if the demand is there. I would hate to be right. But mostly excited for the n scale releases
I doubt that honesty Charlie and Billy may both be saddle tank engines but there isn’t enough similarities for Bachmann to recolor Stanley to make them.
@DCCSodor true. But the potential is still there for them to consider it. Especially if they decide to make the saddle tank a separate fitting so they can make just a different variant of that area. But as I said I hope that my theoretical prediction doesn't come to pass

Maybe in a few years for Rosie, but I honestly doubt we’ll see Belle in HO.

Yes he was announced in 2022.
