- While Bachmann's character roster is ever so expanding, there are some ideas I would like to see happen. This video will go over those.
This is a sequel to my other Bachmann video on characters they won't make. These are just opinons, please don't take this video as fact.

For my personal Bachmann Thomas HO Scale Wishlist: I'd like to see Whiff, Scruff, Hiro, Stephen, Sidney, and Rocky be made.
I most especially agree that Hiro deserves a chance to shine in Bachmann.

Honestly, Bachmann need to make Porter. Porter is my favorite character of the entire series! I mean, if Bachmann had the balls to make Beau, I’m sure they can make Porter happen.
While Sidney is bound to get a model, I’m still quite sceptical about Hiro and Nia receiving a model from Bachmann. The other problem with Bachmann is that some products come out way longer originally scheduled.
I wish this would end soon. I’m still feeling bad about the 2020 delays since it seemed like Daisy and Peter Sam were gonna brake that tradition.
Given that Nia is a relevant character, they probably will make her eventually.
As much as I agree with most of the ideas that you listed, I can't forsee some of these happening. For one, as much as I would love for Bachmann to update the faces on Thomas, James and Percy (as well as Cranky and Bertie while I'm at it), the chances of that happening are next to none unfortunately. There's a reason why with James' they only ever went back to fix some of the colors, and did color variations of both him and Thomas. Something as simple as a repaint is less expensive than making an entirely new face mold. That's also the reason why Salty's updated model and Original James have painted tail-lamps instead of seperate pieces. And yeah, while they have enough money to produce new merchandise every year, they're much better off continuing with that than using the money to make new faces for like 3 characters. Granted they did do it with Diesel by giving him a grumpy face, but that model never replaced his original smiling model.
As for Bachmann's G Scale range, they could make Henrietta; I'm quite surprised that they haven't yet, but as for Edward I'm not so sure. They're never make Gordon and Henry because of their size but for Edward I don't know. The last tender engine that they made was Emily which was 11 years ago and ever since, they've been making smaller characters so maybe it has something to do with like pricing. That's probably why they're not making him.
As for everything you else you stated, I can see it happening. Not sure about the whole 'Arry and Bert thing but, it's possible I say. I just hope that when Bachmann does make Sidney in HO scale, his face doesn't come out as clucked as Paxton's. But I guess we'll find out sometime before the decade ends.
It's sad cuz like Bachmann is a BIG company, so changing the face sculpts on Thomas, Percy, James, Gordon and Henry (for the last two they'd only have to make the eye sockers bigger) would be an absolute breeze for them to do that AND release new trucks or a new engine, it's just that they're too lazy lmao
They just know that any figure of the most popular characters will sell great no matter how inaccurate/absolutely revolting it looks, so they don't bother investing any money into changing the sculpts
Here the thing Bachmann have explained why they haven't done stuff that that you pointed out. Its due to the fact the Licence holder for Thomas *cough cough Mattel* won't allow them to do certain things with it that and on the Edward part was more or less cost, hence why they didn't do a lot of tender engines besides James and Emily.

I'd also love to see Old Shape Henry and rolling stock like Hector, Fred Pelham, U.L.P., Hannah, Old Slow Coach, the Slip Coaches, Skiff, the Chinese Dragon and the Jet Engine. I know it's a lot but come on, surely making rolling stock can't be that hard

The fact is, Bachmann is the only official company out there that still cares about Thomas, hence why they continue to produce high-quality merchandise based on the CGi era instead of the All Engines Go! spin-off. Mattel, on the other hand, continues to produce merchandise based on AEG! instead of releasing new models for the Thomas Wooden Railway revival line. If it were up to me, I'd have had new models of characters like Duck, Donald, Douglas, Oliver, and Toad released for that line in early 2023.

Bachmann stated that they'd love to do other characters! However, the big guys at Mattel control what characters are made. Mostly, it's the more recent and new characters. Sorry if you already put their statement into a video. First time I've ever watched your stuff.

Just to clear up, the new tooling for the new lner 12 ton vans didn't exist prior, as the ice cream van's tooling is based off of an lms design, not an lner one, though it is easy to make that mistake...
It would be nice if Bachmann did make Gordon’s special coaches from series 10 just like they did with Toby‘s museum coaches because it would be nice to have different coaches.

I don't know if it's a legal issue with Lionel on O scale or what, but Bachmann are the kings of On30 already so I would absolutely adore if they did the Skarloey Railway in On30.
The only new rolling stock I would add to G-scale (besides Henrietta) is a Cattle Wagon.
Nia will definitely happen at some point, which I'm okay with. Her model could be a decent scratch-aid for kitbashing a real model out of.
Hiro might happen, but I guess we'll have to wait and see, as long as the character is popular enough.
How about the future of rolling stock, including the Troublesome Trucks and Troublesome Truck #7.
I'd love to see them do Hiro

I think they should get a road added to the yearly roster as they have beem slacking there and they have so many to do.
HO Scale
Sidney: Yes, I definitely see the potential in him! As you said his basis is the same as Diesel, Arry, Bert and Paxton. He appears in a few episodes, even has one spotlight episode to himself and speaks in most episodes. The eye mechanism will be hard to do, but there’s a good chance they’ll get him right and much accurate.
Hiro: I love to see him being made, as he’s one of the strongest writing characters and I love Hero of the Rails. Plus since now we’re getting tender engines being made (Rebecca and Beau), they have to make him very soon.
Nia: I wouldn’t really be surprised if she’s being made and I don’t really care that much about her, but since Rebecca is being made Nia will get made as soon as Bachmann saves money for they’re tooling.
Besides Sidney if there’s a few characters I wish Bachmann would make, it will have to be: Samson, Porter, Stephen, Victor, Luke and Mille.
Don’t got much for N Scale and Large Scale, but hope there’s surprises waiting for them especially Large Scale.
I want Bachmann to make Henry and Gordan in G scale.

1:26 - Now THAT'S a flashback I did not expect to see again at all! (For context, I made that crappy photo as a "Custom DVD cover" I did regarding locos of that class, back then I knew shit what I was doing)
As for the suggestions - I think the reason why Bachmann still hasn't done Sidney yet is because they don't want a repeat of HO Paxton where, due to being made much much later than Diesel, had this face being whacked out to fit the eye mechanism (the reason why G Scale Paxton's face is fine is because it was developed alongside Diesel, so it's unknown how Sidney'd be done, though for N Scale, there shouldn't be such issue).
For Hiro - it's very likely to happen, since they already have the moulds for the wheels designed for Rebecca.
For the original three - I think the issue would be that, if redesigned, they'd most likely use crappy 3-pole motors and be much more expensive than the stock standard variants.
N Scale - I think it's just the matter of time when Branchline Coaches, Spiteful Brakevan come out in that scale.
G Scale - yeah, Henrietta is a must. And to go alongside Toby, I think Mavis could be a great contender for the range (and possibly other Tank Engines and Scottish Twins).

they NEED to keep their classic series faces. its the only classic era stuff we got left (besides Japan, which has much more cooler merch than the US)
I think All the remaining model series characters from engines, narrow gauge engines and vehicles all should become bachmann and the remaining rolling stocks like old slow coach, rocky, and hector should get their own bachmann models too
As long as AEG is around, we’ve no chance in having characters like BoCo, Duke, Stepney, Arthur, Murdoch or Molly, though if Bachmann does make anymore model series characters, I feel like Hector is the most likely choice since he’s not really hard to make and he’s gained a bit of a cult following in the fandom.
@@joshuaW5621 anything can happen especially when original Thomas fans show the newbie’s the original than dumb all engines go, I will always hold onto hope in boco, stepney, duke, the diesel, Derek, Arthur, Harvey, Murdoch, Fergus, Neville, Molly, Dennis, mighty Mac, fearless Freddie and whiff all get bachmann models, sometimes you never know

Duke and smudger for 009. Revive the ice cream van, troublesome slate trucks revive flatbed with paint drums, well wagon, tar wagon

Don’t know if that will happen seeing as there are limits to making characters who aren’t in the cgi series.

I don’t know if Lionel still does Thomas models. If such a video exists, I’d like to do one for Hornby too if they brought back their Thomas range.

@@berkshire4607fun fact, she was originally meant to be introduced in season 21, but her introduction was delayed to season 22 when season 21 was cut short. Henry was also never meant to leave the main cast, hence why he never got a proper departure.

Don’t know since Mattel doesn’t allow them to make non-cgi engines. There’s more chance of them returning in the revival era first.

They can at least do splodge. It's the easiest thing in the world. One face for both engines, diesel without ladder and recolor. They'd get bought up, people love splodge.

I don't see what's wrong with the Thomas, Percy and James models. They're the most screen accurate models I've seen besides Diamond Pet's models.
They were based on the 2000 cartoon promo pictures, which have grey couplings, inaccurate proportions in some areas and cartoony faces. Plus they don’t even have front couplers (unless you wanna use the ones on their bufferbeams).
Doesn't really matter to me, as my Bachmann Edward was the Only screen Accurate Edward I could find. It does suck though that Diapet won't ever be making anymore Thomas models.
If Bachmann makes Hiro I'll buy him straight away.

Sadly they won’t, diesel 10’s claw would be too big to fit through tunnels and under bridges and lady hasn’t been in the show since 2001 and bachmann said they have to do characters that were in the cgi or the last 20 years or so

Here’s an idea for a video in the style (and if you’ve already done it sorry if I missed it):
We’ve seen several Thomas Towns across the world. Small sections of larger theme parks dedicated to our favorite blue tank engine. But what if Thomas, by some bizarre circumstances, suddenly skyrocketed in popularity again to the point where Metallica justify making a theme park all about Thomas and his friends. If you were put in charge of designing it, what would you do? They remind you do have to be a bit realistic and keep in mind that this can’t just be for Thomas fans, but it has to appeal to the general audience and kids who are more familiar with the current Thomas. What is the same time you can appeal to classic Thomas and even the railway series.
so with all this in mind, what would the park be like? What iconic Sodor locations would you represent? Would there be transportation to move people around the park? If so, what vehicles would you use? What kind of rides would there be? Would there be any restaurants? Pretty much just go wild and come up with what your dream Thomas amusement park would be.
No CGI faces for any of the characters! The classic Thomas and Friends series was the best in my opinion. So it’s my belief that you shouldn’t go for CGI faces for the characters. It’s a bad idea all around. Have you seen Oliver’s character face? It’s terrible looking.
I really want BoCo...but due to not being relevant in the CGI series, that's quite unlikely.
Mattel isn’t letting Bachmann make non-cgi engines, as stated in the other video, but that might change if BoCo returns in the revival era.
If Bachmann can't make a character it's not entirely their fault. Mattel told Bachmann They can only produce from CGI seasons onwards,

Asking them to make CGI faces for the ones that have model era faces is the most backward thing I've heard. The CGI versions ARE the problem. CGI faces for CGI characters, fine. But the classic era faces are perfect, aside from the three you mentioned which I agree need changing. But not to CGI! Model era is superior in every way and they're the definitive versions of those characters. The CGI faces are lifeless in comparison despite actually moving!

Mattel won’t let Bachmann make many non-cgi characters and Diesel 10 won’t be made because of his claw. Have you even seen this dude’s video on characters that Bachmann won’t make? How are people still out of touch with this?
