What I love about your car is it's an R34 Gtr jdm, but wen you look at your engine bay compared to the BMW's your engine is what I call an engine. Looks way more awesome than the BMW.

Love the 1M for the feel of a small car. Even in the F series M2 that feels more like bigger vehicle when compared to the 1M.

Since when did modifying cars been “illegal” in HK? When I was a kid tuning cars were fairly common and legal. All the shops in Kowloon and NT were always modifying cars
Can you share any details on the yarn you used for the custom stitching?
I have researched it, bought several yarns suggested online, but none of them truly match the OEM 1M stitching.

I had an 08 135i with an 1M clone front bumper and it's one of my favorite cars I've owned. Water pump going out was relatively easy fix, the high pressure fuel pump was hell though. Miss the hell out of it

Hong Kong authorities don't like modified cars, that's all.
Technically, that R34 has a lot of very visible bits that will raise eyebrows with the Hong Kong cops. I can't speak for the obvious air intakes, perhaps a case can be argued there that it's not technically an engine mod. Also, although aftermarket wheels are not explicitly outlawed, Hong Kong doesn't allow non-original wheel sizes and the cops sometimes WILL bring an inspection expert to arbitrate.
