+EHEC19200 Thanks so much! I did listen to them and love it! Ward is new to me but I see he's been around a long time! How could I have missed him? thanks again!
This guy got me through some bad times. Actually, before you hate, his music guided me through some hard feelings. Digging deeper, I was in a bad place when I heard his music. I heard what he had to say and felt what I needed to feel; in the end I hated everyone involved. Now? Life is how you react. Everything you do, see, or feel depends on how you react to it. That is the secret to life.
saw him at Liconln Center last night. Was a rare and totally unexpected treat. I think he was surprised at the amazing reception he got. BTW, He also does a fabulous version of Buddy Holly's Rave On.
I meant that M. Ward's been releasing quality stuff for a long time. I saw him with the White Stripes and The Shins in 2005, and he had been around for 5 or 6 years by then.
+Ken Davenport Right now I'm sitting here looking at your comment trying to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my ass
His voice immediately made me stop having a terrible day.
I saw M Ward play in Seattle and he rocked the house down - one of my favorite artists of all time
M. Ward is the only KEXP set I´ve seen without an interview.
M. Ward for president.
Mike Mogis for VP
Matt is the most tasteful guitar player on the planet.
Try Julian Lage, a similar tone but professional level. But yeah, m ward guitar is very tasteful.
Yes, he is so good.
It's M to you bro
M Ward is the real deal........I dig this.
Fr tho
Matthew's voice is perfect for my ears...deep, rich, smooth as honey and his guitar work takes the songs up another notch .
.love all of this !
While watching a doc on PBS about Elvis Presley, Mr. Ward was singing in the back seat of Elvis's Rolls. Beautiful discovery on a cold January night.
What was this where he is singing in the back if a rolls?
Great to see Scott McCaughey playing with him ! Ans always a pleasure to listen M.Ward of course.
Matt, yes, keep your attitude and keep folk rock alive
M. Ward live is perfect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this band so much! I just saw them on CBS, then found this great video. I wish M. Ward all the success he deserves! Cool songs, totally!
+Rob Rideout You should listen to She & Him. Its M. Ward and Zooey Deschanel, they make a very great duo.
+EHEC19200 Thanks so much! I did listen to them and love it!

when I'm having a hard day....when I'm having a good day
Bunch of old geezers hav'n a sweet time - lovely
Even better live. The bass player looks like he could be on The Muppets.
LIMIT OF MAPS definite truth in existence
That's Scott McCaughey! Young Fresh Fellows, Minus 5, REM touring member, Baseball Project. All around great musician.
Jason Boone What kind of bass is Scott playing?! It’s sick!
love it
voice of honey.

Made my day :))
I said god damn!
Please. Come back to Saxapahaw.
I heard this guy as I was leaving HSB yesterday and immediately liked what I was hearing. Bad timing on my part.
HSB?
I shouldn't do that: Hardly Strictly Bluegrass.
💖
he sure does know how to handle that whammy bar lol
Whammy- Bar for Days…🤠Luv It
No big boat, no deal
nice n easy
Like Roy Orbison--he whispers his way in.
When'd his hair get so grey?!
His old soul finally caught up with him.
Yo this is my friends uncle
M Ward is your friend's uncle? Cool!
Where is Zooey!?
Indeed, Great to see Scott McCaughey on bass but who are the other players? Odd that there's NO credit there.
So the host, who is not in this video, gets a credit but the on-camera musicians playing on this do not...
None better.
Why good stuff is always hidden under of tons of garbage!!!! Why its so hard to be geniune music lover!?!?!?
wonder what their day jobs are?
they ain't got none
even a gas station wouldn't hire them lol

Andy Simmons you hate your grandpa, that much is understood, and while there may be other hims, it is likely they're just as old as he
Bass player look like Bill Murray n shit...
am i the only 17 year old here?
Nope
Nope
nope!
That's not a question a 17 year old would ask so why did you ask it?
Dear goodness, a prime example that anyone can make an album. Saw him on James Corden tonite. Complete mess!
+Ken Davenport Right now I'm sitting here looking at your comment trying to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my ass
Idiot
You don't understand.
