I love how likable and sympathetic Hacchi becomes in this arc. Makes me see him very differently whenever I revisit Arlong Park. He's just a good dude who hanged around with the wrong crowd. Also, you can actually see Doflamingo's jolly roger symbol throughout the auction house, hinting to his involvement. I think it's so cool how he just randomly appears every now and again to show just how many things and people he's involved with. It makes him appear like such a major player despite our crew never having met, or even talked about him, at all.

Because you were talking about Admirals, Vice Admirals, strength and so on, here's some non-spoiler information about that, in case your patreon folks haven't filled you in yet: The highest rank in the Navy is the Fleet Admiral, which is Sengoku. After that, we have the three Admirals, then any and all vice admirals. It's important to know that there are only ever three Admirals because that is the rank decision that was made. It's safe to assume that those in that poistion are powerfull, but as for vice admirals, that's a different matter. Their strengh varries more, but say you have five people who are on Admiral level, you still only have three positions, so only three of them gain that rank. So just like bounties are not a perfect representation of how strong a pirate is, only the threat level the Navy assigned them, being a vice admiral is no indication of how tough of an opponent they are either.
My comment got deleted due to having a link in it (sucks) I posted the scan from the manga with the Buggy/Shanks flashback to show young Rayleigh looking pretty much exactly like modern days (the anime did him dirty as they changed his design slightly, so it's not as obvious), you can easily find it online, goes to show how careful Oda is when introducing characters!
Bellamy, thank you for your time but your most cathartic punch award is being revoked. These episodes are so damn hype, and you can see why Thriller Bark isn't as widely loved, following Water 7 and then being followed by Sabaody would make any arc look bad. And Law is cool af and he makes it look effortless. Can't wait to see more of him. Rest of the arc is still gonna be fire so can't wait!
This is probably my favorite saga in all of One Piece even if my favorite Arc is Water 7. Multiple arcs getting higher and higher to a climax with a very satisfying conclusion.
