The low spec Gamer channel has a video which covers gaming on integrated graphics and includes tips such as downloading drivers from the chip maker rather than the manufacturers of the device and tweaking some of the graphics settings. I'm sure you're already aware of these tips but I'd love to see them tried and tested on the win 2 whilst I'm waiting for mine to come :) Just a thought :)

I strongly recommend to try out win 10 LTSB. I installed it right away and had no problems, all the drivers are okay, OS runs much better then the stock win 10, sorry but I cannot compare gaming performance as only used the original OS for a couple of hours.
Could you try doing another Fallout 4 video with bios tweaks to see if you can get a more reasonable framerate? I'd be curious to know if it's possible to get 30fps out of it.

would it be possible underclock the GPU to get some extra power in the CPU for reaching a higher frequency? for example, pc games will benefit more of a higher gpu frequency, but emulators will do the opposite so maybe tweaking it depending of what you are going to play would be beneficial sorry for my english

Hi! There are some differences between the prototype and retail units. In the bios you can disable XTU interface and save. Then you should be able to save profiles.
HELP! by default my intel xtu turbo boost power max is set to 4.5 watts and no matter what I do in the bios or in xtu it stays at 4.5 watts. If i change it in xtu it resets to 4.5 when I restart the gpd win. And even when I set it to 10 and do a game it will run at 70fps then Ill finish a mission and it goes down to 20fps and will never go back up. Thats for every single game.

Wouldn't the "GT overclocking" setting be on top of the default frequency? So if the default is 900 and "GT OC" is set to 0 you get 900, but if it's set to 1 you get 950, 2 gets 1000 and so forth? I definitely could be wrong but that is what I would assume the functionality would be. I would also assume that entering a higher value like 24 the system would realize is unstable and just not even address it and run at stock. I'm sure you tried that but just a thought if you didn't.
The battery is ~40Watt hours. If you set the TDP to 3.5W with medium brightness on LCD you can expect around 8 hours of battery If you set the TDP to 7W with medium brightness on LCD you can expect around 5 hours of battery If you set the TDP to 11W with medium brightness on LCD you can expect around 2 hours of battery

The newest revisions seem to be the best. But there is a failure that happens on older models with regard to the display cable. We still need a little time to see if that happens on the newest versions (which supposedly fix this issue)

you can only really expect as 15% gain at max TDP *in general*

At 2:08 I've notice my GPD win2 power limit set to 7.0w and 8.75w instead of 10.0w like in your video make me wonder if this's normal.

+Crow132 You could but its not really necessary. The SoC favors powering the CPU first. It's weighted toward boosting CPU if you need CPU.

When setting it to 24 it shows up as 12x ratio in XTU. Or 1.2Ghz
uhm, from what i know with desktop overclocking you can get higher frequencies by over not undervolting.
You undervolt to get less heat. Less heat = less throttling = higher fps. Don't compare this to desktop overclocking, it's completely different.

As far as I know, the only way to increase TDP is by doing it through XTU. You can't increase TDP in bios.
