now i found some other thing that confuses me
i noticed that you used the -kx=-mg*sin(tetha)
on the pendulum system, but i suppose the rope is considered not stretchable? or is the K here is just a constant so that the Restoring force is directly proportional to the displacement? if so, why is the displacement considered x (the small arc formed), or is it because of the small angle you can consider it a straight line? thanks

I may have found a hint in his book "For the Love of Physics". There he writes: ".. - and when after ten oscillations I turn of the timer, it reads 45.61 seconds. That's a period of 4.56 ± 0.01 seconds. 'Physics works!' I scream, and the students go BANANAS"

I love physics ive had a passion for it since childhood but i can assure you it is very difficult to explain these complex topics in such an engaging, thorough and precise way. Demonstration is everything! He does it so effortlessly you can tell he understands in front back and sideways and really deeply cares about making it click for his students. Thats a passion for physics, not everyone has it but those of us who do really wamt others to get the same understanding and bewilderment the universe brings to us

Wow, excellent. I missed physics in university because I thought the math would be too hard. I'm now learning what I missed back then. Thank you for these detailed videos. I can only learn so much from the short 5 minute TH-cam mass consumption videos with fancy computer graphics and no math. You are helping me learn about wave/particle duality, wave functions, electromagnetism and more! My favorite is the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle video. First time I truly understood what it meant and what quantum physicists mean by "information" and "observation."

What makes physics so beautiful is how it applies to completely isolated phenomena, that the amplitude of the spring system and pendulum doesn't affect their periods, that the formula for the period is awe-inspiringly similar for both spring and pendulum
T = 2pi • (m/k)‐½ . Just replace m for length of the pendulum and g for k and you have the equation for a pendulums period.
