guys i have a doubt let me get this clear , in chopping or mixing do you get the beats matched of both tracks or play one track and turn down the drums of the other track and just get the highs, lows , mids matched to the track your playing with drums ?

I have had to build some annoyingly complex camera rigs. the one used for this video is made out of two pvc pipes that extend up from the ground behind the desk then two more that extend out over the desk from the top to hold my cell phone. start recording man!!

I just got my first little board (Numark Mixtrack 3, a little cheaper than what you get hahaha) and would REALLY appreciate your tips or something, especially some questions I have, for instance; is a 4 channel mixer (or something like the American Audio VMS4.1 like you have) easier to use or something along those lines? I've just been messing around with it, but it seems like you got basically everything down for DJing so I thought i could ask you. Thanks
2 Channel mixer will be easier to use because there are less channels involved to mess with, however 4 channels allow for a lot more creative DJing as well as allowing more tracks to be cued and ready to go. The mixtrack is a great starting point tho, that is what I started with!
Thanks a lot! I think it's pretty funny that you started off with the mixtrack, because my cousin (who is going to college for audio engineering) started off with the mixtrack too hehheh. He's also where I get almost all my inspiration from d:
i have the same tables, my recommendation is refrain from using the sync button at all costs when getting used to mixing...start off using it then cut more comfortable with cues and loops cause there's no sync button on CDJs
Brian Griffin there are Sync Buttons on the CDJ‘s, at least at the Newer ones like the 2000‘s, 2000Nxs... but the Sync function is pretty pretty bad...
