I watched another TH-camr who primarily uses the xt4 and the first time he reviewed the a7siii he said it only had slightly better dynamic range than the xt4. I think that says a lot about how powerful the fuji is.

I would agree too. If Sony’s AF defines you as a videographer then the A7SIII is fine. But for photography the Fuji X-T4 is a great choice. For video or still’s even the Lumix S5 edges that Sony out, with usable AF in video. You can get a stellar lens too, for less than the A7SIII body alone…

differences between Fuji and Generic batteries (old style):
    1. The price. Fuji batteries are x3 or x4 more expensive
2.Generic batteries after 3 or 4 years may swell slightly even though they are almost invisible and they may get stuck in the camera

Hi Ken. Greets from Germany and pls excuse my English. I also switched, but not for free willing reasons. My Alpha R 3 was stolen in France. Now I am on the X Pro 3. I can say that the Fuji is the best I could ever get. Very close to my experience with Nikons and Leica M over 35 years of shooting. It is all about handling. Sometimes I wish the Sensor to be bigger, but after Capture one, Photoshop and Lightroom, I can say that my Prints are excellent. No one in my Exhibitions noticed it. OK, some, but I do not care about Pixel Peepers. The Sony was not easy to handle. Too many Functions no one on this Planet needs. The X Pro 3 is a quick shooter. I can see everything that is necessary in a split of a second. Give this baby a 35 meg Sensor and a Anti-Shake and no one would need a different Shooter.

Sony is ugly, meh color science, ugh ergonomics, best in class autofocus, affordable aps-c lens options. Fuji has beautiful colors straight out of camera, nice aesthetics, throw back ergonomics, dreadful battery life, meh autofocus, more expensive lenses, and requires you to buy different bodies to do what you can do with a single Sony camera. Summary, get a Fuji for the colors for straight out of camera shots and the aesthetics. Get the Sony if you are pragmatic and require an all-in-one package that is average to good on most things, but has class leading autofocus, along with affordable aps-c lens options. You're welcome!

Coming from someone that has used Sony, Canon & Panasonic, the Xt4 & xh2s are amazing all around cameras, both average to good in all fields. The files are far better for editing. Xh2s AF is amazing, a huge upgrade from xt4 and is almost matches Sony’s performance. For video, fuji beats majority sony cameras that aren’t cine. DR, Colors, overall Capability and for cinematographers, fuji’s AF is no problem as majority of professionals aren’t using AF. Sony’s glass feels cheap and has the most issues out of any company. Fuji’s is top notch in quality. Right now, the only thing sony has on fuji is low light performance, slightly better AF (compare to fuji Trans5 sensor, not 4) and usable ISO range, though Fuji handles noise far better than sony.
Fuji’s lens selection is underrated. Viltrox, Sigma, Tamron, Rokinon, all make great, affordable lenses for fuji. And the battery life is great on the xt4 & xh2s. Sony is very well known for their poor battery life.

I know the XPO3 uses the same sensor and engine as the XT4. With a 10 minute limit and no IBIS I question how much video you may want to do with it.
I own both the XPRO3 and XT4. Clearly the XPRO3 is a photocentric body that can do nice video. The XT4 is a hybrid body with IBIS that is more video centric. Lock down the XPRO3 on a tripod and there you are.I use the right tool for the job.
The focus for still images is good. Seems like continuous focus for video is adequate but needs improvement. Sony reins supremacy. Canon and Nikon are very good. I don’t need the best. I want a higher degree of focus reliability. Come on Fuji. Get your act together. Please.

The lens makes a pretty distinct clicking noise constantly. However on the Fuji X100V the aperture blades are completely silent when opening and closing. Is there something wrong with the 33mm lens. It's the way cameras focus. It focuses wide open, and then stops down to whatever aperture you are on right before the shutter moves. A lot of cameras work this way. X100V has smaller lens so I'm assuming the architecture is very different.

Fuji x-t4 can shoot up to 400 mbit and x-s10 can shoot 200 mbit which makes huge difference when color grading. One thing I don't like about Sony cameras , their data is mostly limited to 100mbit. Fuji film simulations are amazing. However fujifilm mobile and desktop applications suck. Sony is more compatible with third party applications and gimbals.

    • @professionalpotato4764
      @professionalpotato4764 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It's not the data rate that matters as much. It is the bit depth. You can have 8 bit 444 with low compression and 10 bit 420 even at 100Mbps is still far better better. 10 bit over 8 bit any day. 8 bit is really annoying and borderline impossible to colour grade.

XT3 would be more future proof as you grow into it due to the 10 bit video. Sure it may not have IBIS, but you can rig it up to remove camera shake or use a gimbal. The screen is also better if you're behind camera since it doesn't flip out. The flip out screen is only good for vlogging or selfies.
XS10 is a solid choice, but it only has 8 bit video so if you intend to do any kind of colour grading it is not optimal.

very affordable and super small and light And
    Fast auto focus
Yes í have many Fuji cameras. And Yes Great líking. But no match for a74
Yes, Fuji XT four has slightly better viewfinder and LCD resolution
But better auto focus, better ISO performance better death of field, better learn selection, better things do not seem to stop owners from ditching Sony just don’t get
