I've been doing a lot of research about PDI barrels and rhop in general. One thing I've noticed in a couple of threads is people saying that I have to mill down the barrel why is this? I don't see why I need to modify my Barrel window at all especially if I am using sugru and my maxx concave nub. The only reason I got a pdi was because my edgi was too small of a window.
Sorry I'm replying a month later, but milling the window could be because they want an extended contact patch for the BB that doesn't fit in a standard window, a possible reason for this is trying to hop very heavy BBs without dropping the fps as much, since you get more friction while protruding the patch inside the barrel less.
Yes, and more durable also. A great advantage is that you can change the contact surface and sealing rubber separately... Ideally rhops also made of silicone.
Good luck doing it that easy with the soft flexible stuff that can actually be used to hop a BB, unlike this hard plastic which would spin a BB about two inches. Lol.
Yes!! Where can I buy this silicone tube?
Ebay probably
@@facelesssniper3057 hahahaha thanks for the response 3 years later! Now I dont even play airsoft 🤣

Hey man, where did you get 8.5 OD silicone? Cant find it anywhere
Try one of those chainsaw/ local engine shops and ask for gasoline tubing im from Italy but must work
Good job and Chill music! :)
What is this tubeing and where do i get it?
Why do people are using r hop, not full sized silicone ones?
Are they more accurate?
Yes, and more durable also. A great advantage is that you can change the contact surface and sealing rubber separately... Ideally rhops also made of silicone.
After cutting the plastic did you put glue or place the bucking?
No glue required, if you cut it right I can not move into any direction.
To make it works i need some special hop up rubber or something else?
A flat rubber, modify for example
Wanna see a test fire if that it would bè good trust me
This is a 3 years old video :) I dont even have the rifles anymire which these were built in. Currently I have much better factory made rhops :)
