I'd love a prequel to The Crown. Victoria's kids being flung across Europe, Queen Mary being amazing, the Windsors being a nightmare. It's all good 👍
A prequel is apparently already in discussion
I agree That would be wonderful if they did Elizabeth and Bertie, then George & Mary, Edward and Alexandra and Victoria and Albert.
I would love a prequel as well. I really enjoyed the series Victoria.
There is an itv series about queen victoria (but canceled before VRI got to her second halves of her reign)
Edward VII would be a great start. Hes barely portrayed in media, so having a season with his reign would be perfect
Claire, Matt, Vanessa, Olivia, Tobias and Helena need cameo appearances in S6
A prequel surrounding Queen Victoria would be phenomenal. There’s literally countless states, cities, natural wonders, et in her name. She’s still the UK’s greatest monarch and she barely even concerned herself with politics
It has already been made multiple times. a TV series called Victoria, also a movie, Young Victoria, and a miniseries Victoria and Albert. Victoria Hamilton who played the queen mother in first 2 seasons of the Crown plays Victoria in the miniseries. Jonathan Firth the less famous actor brother of Colin Firth is Albert.
I think if it’ll be cool if Imedla looks into a three-way mirror and on one side we see Claire, the other we see Olivia and the main mirror is the actual Queen.
Or a time jump to the announcement of her death with Duck Shoot playing.
All those who love The Crown, the royal family and want a prequel series.

While the very last scene will, undoubtedly, be a tribute to both the queen and Prince Philip, a scene or two before that could involve some foreshadowing to the current state of the monarchy. For instance, there could be an exchange between William and Harry about romance and marriage, during which the former talks about Kate, and he asks what type of woman the latter would pick as his future wife. Harry could respond with something like, "I want someone like Mum". Everything would then freeze, before cutting directly to those final moments I've already mentioned. (11/7/2023)
Olivia Colemans seasons took you into the early 90's not the late 70's as Margaret Thatcher resigned in 1990.
Not early 90's It ended with Christmas 1989. One week before the 90's started.
@peachygal4153 the last episode detailed Margaret Thatchers' resignation, which was 1990.
I'm so excited but nervous at the same time. I feel like the 6th season is going to have a lot of sad themes.
Nervous how the show will end
I know right
They killed diana off spread lies that she was pregnant, and then turned her into a ghost
Golden Jubilee
I want a flash forward scene we’re we see that last pm meeting. She stayed alive to make that meeting so it would be right to have it in some way.
Spoiler alert I heard the Queen dies
Wldve ❤ed to see Michael Sheen reprise his role as PM Tony Blair (The Queen 2006)
I think seasons 1 and 2 were the best, but Umbridge has been the best queen!
I like that. How do we want people to remember us. Good to start thinking about.
They did Princess Di dirty but she got the last laugh.
They perfectly portrayed her. There's no denying that she was a narcissist, who did everything for media attention. She cheated on her spouse the same way Charles did, but did not get the media scrutiny for it. She couldn't leave her son for the Australian tour but left him for the solo tour and not to mention in a boarding school. Furthermore, she knew what she was getting into by marrying the PoW(a stranger) she was ready for the fairy tail, not the realities that came with it.
@@saniasaeed5174she cheated 😂 only when her husband banged a whore like crazy and she was being Gaslighted and forced to act to her husband was so good of a man
@@saniasaeed5174she loved her son unlike your mother 😂
@@saniasaeed5174who hurt you
@@goated3285 his mother who else?🤣
I really hope they have a flash forward scene to her last first PM meeting towards the end of the last episode. That was a really big moment for I think because she probably new it was going to be her last so it would be right to give wait to that.
We all know she stayed alive just to spite Boris so he wouldn’t be her last.
Yes, she willed herself to last for that meeting I feel.
Glad to hear you agree
I really want to see the Golden Jubilee celebration, especially the Red Arrows and Concorde flyover
Just noticed contrast between two interviews of William and Kate, and His Dad and mom. The mood, the body language.
I don't think that I'll be able to watch the recreation of Diana's inevitable death, as well as everyone's reactions. I'll likely be sobbing so much! 😭💔
they won't show the actual crash
It isn't unusual for the heir (in this case the Prince of Wales) to have the desire to carve out his own sphere separate from that
of his father, the king. The wrinkle in this tale is that the monarch is a female. In addition, the late queen, had the monarchy
thrust on her at a young age and also when her children were very young.
It is kind of difficult to rebel against one's destiny and the dominance of the monarch when that person is also one's mother.
Prince Philip, although, I am sure that he loved his eldest son; was not the type of person to rub salve on the wounds.
Can't wait to see it! Love The Crown!
I was a little disappointed by season 5. Felt too spread out. I hope season six is a good send off.
The first 4 episodes were amazing and in my opinion paid tribute to Diana and Dodi, RIP ❤️
I know it’s not British history, but I hope they mention the events of 9/11. It shocked the world and was the setting for British and US fighting in Afganistán. It would be interesting to see how the royals might have reacted to the tragedy. I think most have moved on so it would be nice to have a reminder of the event
Don't forget about British and US Invasion of Iraq in 2003
I wonder how they are going to handle Diane's death and if they put a glimpse into Queen Elizabeth's death at the end.
@@elizabethe9455The Queen movie came out in 2006?
@@Jessica-ml6td it did come out in 2006
@@elizabethe9455 I was thinking of a montage of the news announcing her death while zooming out to show her face.
I've never watched "The crown" but, this was a nice top nonetheless. Happy tuesday afternoon, Emely. Take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
They did such a good job with the actress portraying Camilla. The horrible hair style, the horrible clothes. The personification of “dowdy.” The only thing is the actress didn’t quite capture her horrible gait.
It's Dolores Umbridge!😂😂😂
It still feels odd hearing God Save the King. All my life it has been God Save the Queen.
I’m excited to see it I have loved the series ❤❤
Really, if you know what they're going to do to Diana, you won't love the show. They're gonna make out she was pregnant. Then they killer off in the most horrific car crash. And then they turn around to a ghost.
I'm dreading the first 4 episodes!
I thought the way season 5 portrayed sensitively and sensibly the war of the Wales' showing humanity on each side (personal bias towards Diana on my end), I am sure they will do the same for the first half of season 6.
I am less enthused about the wedding of Charles and Camilla than I am about seeing how they say goodbye to Princess Margaret.
at 8:09 - 8:11 Prince Harry's scoff was Diana like. Diana's son indeed. ❤
Olivia Coleman lead the series into the 80s. Charles & Diana’s wedding was in 1981.
Yes, she ended the 80's.
I came here to post that comment too.
I feel like the show should end with the queens death. Starting at her reign and ending would be so perfect
I think it should end with the king ascending the throne… I really do
I hope the last episode is fully and only the life of the Queen.
So they’re going to hit the Queen Mother’s death and Margarets
Lol I’ve been watching countless documentaries on TH-cam since the trailer. I had to get the ☕️ 😂
Please stop the "before we continue' part before the #1 thing, we all know about alerts! And why keep showing same clip of Ross and Rachel fighting?
9/11 and the Queen's instructions for the band to play the US National Anthem during the Changing of the Guard.
Strong recommendation to watch ahead of time:
1. Queen Charlotte
2. The Young Victoria
4. Victoria and Abdul
5. The King’s Speech
6. The previous Crown seasons
Thank you, I watched the Kings Speech last week so I’ll watch 1 & 2 on your list before Thursday. I also watched The Queen on HBO & Diana the movie on Prime. There’s also a William & Harry movie on TH-cam that I watched which is free.
You forgot Bertie and Elziabeth. I also recommend Victoria and Albert. Both were 90's miniseries and very good.
Camila Charles ❤
Camilla being Queen is an absolute joke. The monarchy is an expensive joke.
cooool
No plans to watch it
A prequel into WWI and the Russian Revolution. King George, Kaiser Wilhem, and Tsar Nicholas. The start of the House of Windsor.
The queen was a wonderful woman and a fan of the Simpsons XD jk
All these alternative storytelling-choices, one might think this is actually a tv show based on historic events and not an actual documentary. Gosh, who would’ve thought that about a tv show based on actual events.
Now he’s a war criminal
😂 so true but they will show Tony as a good man
Dang, they didn’t show the Queen putting the hit on Diana
The prequel should start with William the conqueror.
If only we could’ve gotten a Queen Victoria crown season 🙏
What would I think they should do at the end of the TV show Queen should look into mirrors and see your young self and the self before her
Whos cast to play rose hanbury
I don't like Imelda for the role of the queen. I think that the body of the actor must be similar to the real person. Imelda is so short, that it's impossible for me not to think of it during her scenes
“Semi” historical drama 😂
Mine is an unpopular opinion, but I have always felt that King Charles was maligned by the media, which in turn formed a general consensus of poor public opinion. In reality, he is a extremely intelligent, enlightened and uniquely forward thinking man. For heaven's sake, he's had nothing better to do with his life than be all of that. I have always wondered how everyone who shames him might have felt had they been forced to stop loving their true love in order to put on the ruse of an arranged marriage. Those with the "Diana was beautiful, Camilla is ugly" need to grow the eff up and realize how shallow they are. Diana did not get a fair shake in life, though she did know what she was signing up for, but King Charles definitely did not get one either. If you can't see that, you need to go on back to your National Enquirer because there isn't much hope for you to look at things with a fair mind.
I just can't get over what 'Camilla' and Charles did to Diana. I get that Queen Elizabeth wanted harmony and continuation for the monarchy but not queen Camilla! I'm not a British citizen so my opinion doesn't count. Just throwing it out there. 💣
Many believe she agreed in order for Charles to continue to protect Andrew. She knew she was dying as she had had bone cancer since late 2018.
Just remembering the trailer where Charles was praising Diana makes me furious just thinking what he did to her from the fourth and fifth season. What a hypocrite!
C & D became close friends after the divorce

They are monsters who get money when they have more money making money off the money. ITS INSANE MAYBE IN SEASON 7 THEY MURDER THEM ALL FRENCH STYLE
Never watched and never will.
Wow. Good for you! At least you take the time to comment on videos that hold no interest for you. What a rule breaker you are. So brave.
All this show did was renew my dislike for Charles and his side piece.
I'd love a prequel to The Crown. Victoria's kids being flung across Europe, Queen Mary being amazing, the Windsors being a nightmare. It's all good 👍
1990's Miniseries Victoria and Albert and Bertie and Elizabeth. TV series Victoria. Movies Young Victoria and Kings Speech.
