Elizabeth Debicki sounded perfect. I don’t care what anyone says. She literally embodied Diana.
She's the best actress yet to play Diana. Naomi Watts was very weak, all the rest were very good or even great, but Debicki indeed embodied her like no other. I really forgot that I was watching an actress playing a histroical figure. It was just Diana.
The title of this video needs to be re-worded. Before watching the video, people are initially under the impression your list is referring to actors who did a bad job impersonating their character's voice. Instead you're highlighting the differences in these actor's voices in real life as opposed to their on-screen voice.

Emma Corrin was fantastic at imitating Diana's vocal pattern. Their training certainly paid off. Apparently, saying "Alright" was enough to get them into Diana's voice.

The title needs to be rewritten, but Elizabeth Debecki is the best voice, and best potrayal of the incredible Diana.
Remember, Churchill's mother. Jennie Jerome, was American by birth, so it's rather appropriate that Lithgow played him, at least in my opinion!
Dodi actor was IDENTICAL to his character

This top 4 is also my top 4. Claire made an extraordinary job embodying Queen Elizabeth.
Portraying any character convincingly is difficult enough but I can’t imagine trying to do that well while at the same time attempting to imitate the accent and voice patterns of a living and well known historical persona at the same time!
Diana & Princess Anne were my absolute favorites 😍
Gillian was incredible ❤ I loved her in this role. She was amazing 😍
This is the first time that I've ever stopped watching a Ms. Mojo video. MM is probably my most watched TH-cam channel, but what was the point of the video if you weren't going to give us side-by-side comparisons of the actor and the real-life person they were portraying?
Thought negative list too and was ready to fight for Elizabeth Debicki from the thumbnail. I think The Crown and especially the afore mentioned Debicki casting is some of the most incredible in modern television
On number 9 and must say, would have been interesting to include what the actors actually sounds like....
Seasons 5-6 portrays the time period that I remember the most clearly from my childhood!
Margaret Thatcher must have been hell to imitate. But I still feel her spirit came through, especially her working class resentment. Maybe I'm projecting but for such a controversial person in life, the show did a good job at showing what she was about, not necessarily a flawless lookalike.

As a non-English speaker, this title was really confused to understand.
Even for native speakers of English it is worded very strangely.

Actually Gillian Anderson has a changeable accent. She can easily use both a British and an American accent.

All were excellent. I don't think anyone producing The Crown would have accepted anything else.
I can still recall a producer of The Crown responding to criticism of the storylines - 'the viewing public are not stupid, they know they are watching an adaption of how things could have happened, not necessarily how they actually did' - boy was he wrong
Basically everyone. No normal person would actually speak like these characters, unless they’re from the aristocracy. Even the two princes (William and Harry) don’t speak like that.

Sorry but the voice of Thatcher was a complete failure. As the wigs. And the attitude. It looked like a transvestite show 😂😂😂 Absolutely nothing like the real Iron Lady. But I guess it was intentional. To make her look ridiculous when Blair was portrayed as King Tony. But we perfectly know the political side of the authors by now.
Debicki was totally amazing. She was Princess Diana.
I hated Jillian Anderson on The Crown, she is too dramatic and her voice is so agonizingly annoying.
She kinda "over acts" sometimes, or just tries too hard...
