@@weightinglist "Cry more, counter my points" Funny. I did that a day ago in a reply on another comment. And seeing that you are still in the comments Not replying to counterpoints. But instead commenting on what you class as "commenting idiotic things on my channel" is very very interesting.
Indeed, click bait at it's best. I did watch Agatha till recently and it is indeed dog shit for a TV show. The target audience is middle-aged wine drinking moms and people that "Teen" represents, whatever the f*ck that is...
So - who was Agatha All Along made for? - why should one watch it? - what are it's merits? Is it made for adults, kids, gays, straights, "transkids", ... I personally find post-modern fantasy tedious. In order to entice me, there have to be genuine reasons why I should watch it. What are those reasons? In a world where Disney politicised everything, it's simply not enough for a show to be "interesting". It needs to be more than that. The reviewer here spent all his time slagging off Critical Drinker and fans - but no time explaining the merits of AAA. Does AAA have any merits? If so, tell us why we should watch it. Explain its merits. What is so wonderful about AAA that we can't miss it?
Because it's been well received, all of the actual reviews that arent criticising a trailer are good and it was one of the most watched shows on disney plus for a time so is that not reason enough to give it a go? Once again you have missed the point of this video, exactly like my previous video on this topic. I havent watched the show yet so cant explain the merits to you other than literally everything Ive said in the video and how well it has been recieved.
@@weightinglist "Critical Drinker should have watched that show I haven't watched" "It was popular for a time, so it must be good. Like leaded petrol."
@@weightinglist So let me get this straight. In your own words. The Critical Drinker should watch a show that you yourself haven't even bothered watching...? And you have a problem with him "Not liking it" Because of the behind the scenes and trailers. but don't have a problem with you calling him wrong aka saying its good without watching it yourself. That my friend is the definition of hypocritical. Maybe do your due diligence and watch the show that you are trying to criticize others for not watching.

@@weightinglist Disparu reviewed evey episode th-cam.com/video/4SD-x5D-1X0/w-d-xo.html I tend to agree with him. I watched a few episodes. Not for me. You can't go by Rotten Tomatoes as they love everything Disney. IMDB gave it 7 ish, which I think was generous. But it is not that bad if you are the target audience, which is not most men. So if you like the stuff Critcal Drinker likes, you probably wont like this.
Based on the figures you’re touting as being a success, 6.3% of Disney+ subscribers watched Agatha. That’s a terrible number. Based on the latest subscriber numbers.
@ But this is new. Surely it should garner more interest on that fact alone? I can’t recall any successful shows having to be defended by the claim that there’s too much else to watch. Too many better, things to watch.
It doesn't have to be watched by everyone on the platform to be successful or to even have an audience which is my whole point. Did this show have people watching it? Yes it did, did it get similiar attention to other successful shows on Disney? Yes it did so quit being an idiot whilst you're ahead.
@@weightinglist There’s no need to get angry. It had a bigger viewership drop than The Acolyte and that was cancelled for that performance. It didn’t get similar attention to other shows on Disney else it would’ve also been cancelled. And it cost $40 million. That is nearly as much as Loki and Moon Knight combined and it got less viewers than both. And before you say but Loki and Moon Knight are more recognisable characters, that supports Drinker’s argument of who was this show for as they chose a less recognisable character and pumped money into the project expecting a similar outcome when IP recognition is a major factor in the superhero genre. It was already going to have an uphill battle when you’re picking a lesser know character so who are they fooling by doubling the budget? How can it be considered successful when it is underperforming cheaper shows from the same studio?
If the show was successful, then a second season would have been announced instead of the main actress saying that 'its definitely not happening'. The show was crap, most of Marvel is
@ no, he brought his unique style and opinion to his video(I watched it after I saw yours. Don’t care about Agatha so I skipped the video previously). You may not agree with him but he is definitely entertaining and does a good job explaining his thought processes. You did neither of those things. Try harder, I actually enjoy contrarian points of views if the are interesting, but being boring is inexcusable
@ it’s not boring if you are good at what you do. Plenty of people from both sides do reviews on trailers and some are great and others are boring. Don’t blame the material because you can’t make an interesting video
Thanks for this. I actually watched Agatha because of your original video. I realized I had let other people sour me on the show. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and helping point out I had made a mistake.
I don't watch CD because 10 minutes is enough to tell he has an agenda, more likely better described as: "A Grift". His fan base attracts a specific "type of person" that hates and whines about having stories about female characters, or let's say, people from ethnic groups different to their own is "politicising movies". They really are the saddest little beta males.
Honestly, you should watch the show. The show is phenomenal. To musicality, set pieces, acting, character, fashion, the story etc… You mentioned episode 7, and yes that’s the best episode in all of the mcu tv shows by far. Like it’s crazy how the narrative of “who was the show made for” is actually taken seriously. A witchy queer themed female led series… is the math that hard to do? It honestly shows the echo chamber people live in.
I'm planning on watching it next to see what all the hype is about! I haven't watched any MCU tv series but I'll definitely go in with an open mind. Yeah most of the critical drinker fans dont give anything a chance first, its really stupid to be honest.
@ That’s good! Although I will say you maaaay need to get context from the WandaVision series, otherwise the initial setting and some character beats may seem a bit odd.
I'll consider it or I may look up a synopsis of it before AAA as I don't have a huge amount of time to watch TV at the minute, appreciate your comments though its nicer than the rest of this toxic garbage (par a few good people in this thread)
I couldn’t care less about Marvel and superheroes… that’s not for me personally so studios definitely shouldn’t make content like that because I’m not the target audience. Clearly I’m being sarcastic with that last bit but Agatha All Along was clearly made for people like me, I really enjoyed it. I may not care for superhero shows but I love stuff in the more supernatural realm, my fav shows as a kid were Buffy and Charmed female lead supernatural shows. There’s nothing really like that out there at the moment and AAA fills that space and its writing is solid. It’s pretty clear they were targeting women with this venture, along with Wanda fans, there’s nothing wrong with that, Marvel is big enough for them to make stuff for different demographics. I went back and watch Wandavision because I like this show, which I’m sure lots of people did so another win for them. Considering all the shows that haven’t lived up to hype and budget that Disney has put out recently I don’t think they are upset a Marvel show on the smallest budget, where viewership went up by the finale not down like a lot of there other offering, I’m sure they are happy, and I’m sure they are happy with how much and are making off merch. A jewellery company Marvel work with are already on they 3rd run after selling out of Agatha necklaces, a second run of their Rio and Jen necklaces and currently sold out of their Alice necklaces. I understand that this show might not be for big tough men who want to watch other men fly around in tights or whatever superheroes dress in now days but that’s ok Marvel can make content for different audiences. You don’t have to hate on something just because it wasn’t make for you as the target audience. Women do make up 1/2 the population it’s not a bad business move to target us as well with niche offering that are solid and made with us in mind first. There’s like 30+ Marvel movies and however many Marvel shows you don’t need to be angers 1 show isn’t for you just like I/m not angry 30+ movies weren’t for me. 🤷
I'm glad you enjoyed the show, seems half the people on here haven't given it a chace at all and just want to hop on the critical drinker meat riding train so I'm glad there's a few who actually enjoyed it! You make some very valid points here, shame everyone misses the bigger picture when it comes to some of these reviews
@@weightinglist Honestly it feels like people want to scream its woke its bad rather then engaging honestly with the content these days. Literally anything with a female lead, a gay person or a POC automatically goes in the woke so it must be bad basket before people even watch it. The thing is 'woke' doesnt make something bad... bad writing makes it bad. Theres a lot of content that's not woke thats badly written and content that people would call woke thats well written and wise versa. This seems to be a hard concept for people these days. At the end of the day this show did do well to increase its viewership by 50% from its first episode to it finale. What does Marvel have to be angry at with this show? And if you actually watch the show nothing feels shoe horned in. Witches as we generally know them ran in female covens, so it makes sense most of the cast are women, and it think its great that they are a diverse group if all the women were the same that would be boring. Wiccan is gay in the comics so thats marvel just keeping the character the same Agatha's relationship with Rio feels very natural in the show too, I think it would feel more jarring if he ex was male honestly. I understand sometimes it feels like things a shoehorned in but thats a writing issue and that writing issue isnt here. I don't know why it's hard for people to accept a show they didn't jive with did well, not everything is made for the same audience. You can acknowledge this show did well but isnt for you. The fact people cant seem to get out of Marvel comes from comics and mainly dudes read comics so who is this show even for? I can answer that, women who don't read comics but watch TV and who will buy merch even if they don't read comics. If Marvels goal is to only appeal to comic book fans they are going to go bankrupt very quickly because comic book readers are dwindling. Its in their best business interests to put shows our for a much wider tv audience then comic book readers and with 1/2 the population being women it makes sense to want to tap into that market, we have disposable income too.
Show is good I didn’t have much expectation but it didn’t look garbage. Your right people don’t seem to think for themselves and just follow crowds like Sheeple.
I like Critical Drinker, and I respect his opinion......for the most part, but I must admit I lost quite a bit of respect for him after watching his video slagging off The Boys season 4. He literally didn't even watch it. But yet he made a 10 minute video slagging it off. He literally went to Rotten Tomatoes, read the reviews on there and made up his mind based purely off of those poorly written reviews from an easily offended, outraged mob who felt personally attacked by it. He insisted that the show was "crap now" and had "gone woke", and that the director was "pandering to the woke audience", and that the show was full of political and ideological preaching, and anti-Trump stuff etc etc (I mean, has he ever _watched_ the show before??? They've never exactly been subtle about taking the piss out of that kind of stuff).....and of course all of his viewers now parrot the same talking points as if they're gospel.....yet he never actually watched the bloody show! The Boys has always taken pot-shots at everyone, but now that these right-wingers feel like they're being specifically targeted (when they always have been in the firing line, along with everyone else), the show is "crap" all of a sudden, and "the writing has nose-dived"..........but yet they couldn't even be bothered to watch the show. Or if they did watch it, they took Drinkers talking points in with them and already had a pre-conceived notion that it was going to be crap, and therefore were just looking for things to agree with and complain about. I mean like, if you call yourself a professional 'reviewer', and you put out a 10 minute long video (that's been viewed 2 million times) slagging something off, and, you should at least WATCH the bloody thing you're supposedly reviewing!
Well, I stopped watching The Boys after episode 3 of season 4 before his video came out. The Boys went pure partisan political in season 4 and is completely trash. I am a huge fan of Karl Urban and Geoffrey Dean Morgan from long before this show. I am also a huge fan of most of the supernatural seasons which was also created by Eric Kripke. Season 4 of The Boys is absolute partisan political garbage.
@@josephmcdaniel2033 "Partisan political garbage"? Yeah, I can tell you didn't watch it. THAT'S LITERALLY THE POINT OF THE PLOT IN THAT SEASON! Homelander is basically trying to 'take over' by putting a Supe pawn (Victoria Neuman) into power as Vice President, then killing off the President so she takes over, and Homelander can intimidate her from behind the scenes to get what he wants. I don't know how you expect them to avoid modern-day political allegories when doing a political storyline

@BadgerOff32 I couldn't agree more with literally everything you've said here, hes a reviewer not a reviewer of user reviews and trailers, its just not enough to make those kind of statements!
This show is incongruent with my perception of right and wrong, no way I’m watching that. You can swear by it, but I recently watched The Marvels and it was worse than I ever imagined. Not again.
I haven't watched this video yet, but i will review it anyway: the audio is bad, i can't hear anything and the video is a static image with a big triangle in the middle of it, there are no moving frames. 5/7 is my final review. Jokes aside the question "who was it made for" it's a strange question, like even toons are made for kids but adults watch it too like disney and their disney adults, the people who bases their personality on buying disney stuff as an adult. Edit: the "woke" stuff (like the right wing likes to call it) shouldn't bother anyone if the story it's well written and the actors are good, it's a problem when they have to cast a shitty actor that doesn't even know how to act, just because he is a part of a minority
Hahaha fair enough, I can't agree with everything you're saying here but "who was this made for" is a poor excuse for a "review" the story from what ive heard is well written and so I see no issue with the show, I'll watch it soon and do a follow up that likely no one will watch but oh well
I used to find the critical drinker on point, but he kept saying “who is this for - 50 year old wine moms who like the occult (like that’s an insult)?” And I thought “hey, that’s me!” So I watched Agatha All Along and I really like it. Lesson learned. 😂
The problem is with Disney Marvel in the last few years is the characters are nothing like the comic characters. Agatha in the show kills all the time. Pure evil. The comic character is nothing like that. Woke culture permeates Disney. Evil murdering women like Agatha and those in the Acolyte are just "misunderstood". Disney won't hire white men, even black men if they are not black enough. th-cam.com/video/n3nXIUfD3kc/w-d-xo.html Yet these are the backbone of their audience. Men like their shows straight forward, good and evil. Good hopefully wins. No one in Agatha is good. Agatha kills loads of witches to save her son. Is that justified? All the main characters kill and the show has no problem with that.
I don’t read comics and I would rather show where I don’t have to. I loved AAA because it’s a female lead show where the women are complex, have complex relationships to each other and the lead character is bad. Agatha isn’t misunderstood she’s a serial killing villain and they don’t try and redeem her, they try to make her more human but her trauma hides that more human side most of the time and they don’t make excuses for her behaviour. Also not all the characters kill, Agatha is the only one. Billy is somewhat to blame for Sharon, Alice and Lilia because he made the road but he wasn’t aware and it wasn’t his intention and then you see him grappling with the weight of that, and making the stone out of respect. Agatha tells us in ep 1 Rio doesn’t kill, and so even in the final Agatha uses her succubus powers to kill herself with Rios power, that’s not Rio choosing to kill her. Alice dies trying to save Agatha because she is good, Lilia sacrifices herself for the coven because she is good, and Jen’s character arc goes from her being selfish at the beginning to saying she is going to try and save Agatha and Billy in the last trial because she became a better person through the trials. Not everything has to be exactly like the comics because the majority of the tv audience has never read them especially an obscure character like Agatha so as long as the writing is solid to keep the target audience interested that’s what matters and it did! Viewership went up by the end not down. The Marvel universe is huge there is no reason it can’t cater to people who have interests other than superheroes, like people who like supernatural shows, of female led shows which this is more akin to a Buffy or Charmed then anything we’ve seen from them do before and those shows ran for years and had large fan bases Marvel aren’t stupid to court outside their normal demographic if they want to keep making money. Especially when their normal demographic hates everything they do and complains about it non stop.
@@ChaosandHavoc I don't think it is the worse thing Disney made. Secret Invasion was bad. The Acolyte was awful. MS Marvel was ok ish. I really enjoyed Jessica Jones. She was a flawed hero with a real story. She failed often. That was not Disney show though. That was Marvel Television and ABC Studios . Really worth a watch if you like female heroes. Oh BTW Wiccan is jewish and gay in the comics. So that was partially correct. One thing I did not object to in AAA is the women didn't keep moaning about men and patriarchy all the time. (Like She Hulk) . That was refreshing for a female centric show. If you enjoyed it that's fine. BUT if Drinker had watched it all he would have hated every episode I'm sure. I tried, but was just not interested in learning the fate of characters after episode 2 that I did not care about. Everyone tells me how good Penguin is. I can't get into that either. Younger women like reality shows. Older women prefer crime shows. My wife watches almost nothing but. She wasn't interested in AAA. The next most popular is action movies. I'm not sure where AAA sits there, I don't like magic shows as it cam make for lazy writing. Wizard/ Witch did it etc. Yet I loved Supernatural.
@ I’m sure he would too, and honestly thats how his audience is primed they don’t want to like or engage with the media in a positive way unless it is made for them as the target audience. My only real point is that AAA did well all things considering with its target audience which isn’t men who like superheroes, its women who like the supernatural and watching complex and sometimes evil women with complex female relationships. The fact viewership increased by the finale not decreased like a lot of the stuff they have put out is a big win for them and proves it did strike a cord with the target audience. When the Acolyte aired you would be hard pressed to find a positive comment online until after it was cancelled, AAA however still has lots of positive discussion happening, it had people trying to figure out clues week to week, and it is getting a lot of general praise. I think some people just don’t want things they personally don’t like to be successful but viewership went up, people are asking for a season 2, a lady death show and a Wiccan show, people are excited for the pops coming out. I think it’s just disingenuous people putting this in a similar category to The Acolyte or Secret Invasion because the reaction over all including in the viewership say otherwise. It’s ok to not like things, I didn’t like a lot of the early Marvel everyone loves but I never felt the need to down play its success for points on the internet which is mostly what’s happening. Marvel are big enough to make content that caters to all of us.
@markenetube I can think of numerous shows where the main character who is male is not even a good guy so rhis whole argument just isn't it for me. The last of us was incredibly successful and literally every character kills in that so whats your point?
@@weightinglist Agatha kills for power. I didn't see the "good guys" do that in the last of us. They kill when threatened. I didn't particularly like the last of us. Too much like TWD. But I did watch every show. If you like shows like AAA that's fine. I like shows and movies with a bit more morality. I like to have someone to root for. AAA gave me no one to root for. Drinker and his fan base are probably the same. If he did review it all it would end up like this th-cam.com/video/oOOFBjRYF7Y/w-d-xo.html Disparu tore apart every episode.
I wish I knew what you were talking about? If you repeated what I said then good luck getting reported because there's no chance that's getting you flagged you fool
Those viewing figures are not a sign of anything good. There are over 150 million Disney + subscribers. so even 9 million viewers is only 6% of subscribers. Also the “Views” don’t mean they watched the whole episode, a view is counted even if it’s only 1 minute that the viewer watched it for. It’s not well written. It’s almost unwatchable and *really* cringey. Marvel fans know the plot holes and contradictions.
6% is still a half decent number considering its supposed to have no audience as the review claimed. That's a fair point for those metrics but it could also be they watched for more, guess we don't really know. If you've watched it and thats your opinion I have no issue with that and appreciate your comment. I'm just trying to get people to think for themselves before deciding on a show.
Haven't watched it yet, this was more of a mockery of the drinker using user reviews to back up his the boys season 4 review, which also sucked by the way
I wasn't really interested in the show. I waited for all the episodes came out and watched them over two days. It was a fun romp. Kathryn Hahn is great in her role. Really enjoyed Patti too.
Me neither tbf but I can't stand somebody judging something that isnt even released yet especially in such a powerful position. Glad you enjoyed it, think its definitely a step in the right direction from the MCU by the sounds of it
My point is to parallel other drinker videos where he hasnt watched the show to review the show, he used reviews to make a "the boys" season 4 review so I used that concept which is completely useless, its a 2 for 1
@atredeez and which show is that? If its viewership was similar to Loki and Wandavision then why would it be cancelled? Stop being so defensive because its the drinker thats fed you this nonsense
@@weightinglistbut here you are with the show out and haven’t watched it nor made any points other than viewership. Yes people watch things. You haven’t seen it but call everyone an idiot. Then go over comments and say they are dumb too. What points are there to counter?????
Reviewing a show based on user reviews and a trailer, blindly listening to a critic without giving a single thought of your own. I could go on but clearly you missed the point of this entirely
There was actually a record drop off reported that was worse than the Acolyte. Way to be transparent. I can be - the season did end strong. Big viewership doesn't necessarily mean that a prominent reviewer should be required to comment on it. Any claim of that as fact is absurd. You seem smart so this must be clickbait piggybacked on a big name. Otherwise I would love to hear your comments about all those people that don't review the Kardashians, Big Bang Theory, or Riverdale as, according to you, such junk must be good. By the way substitute whichever crappy sitcom or reality show that garners tons of viewers if you truly believe them my examples as great TV. I mean, you are defending Agatha All Along so there is no accounting for taste. This is a cheap attempt to get views. I will be removing your channel so I don't make this mistake in the future.
Even if that is true which I highly doubt it, that has nothing to do with someone reviewing a show that hasn't come out yet purely based off a trailer and then saying no one will watch it when clearly they did. A big reviewer should no better than to slate shows from user reviews (the boys season 4) and from a trailer as with AAA. That's not the point now is it, he wouldnt review those because no one would watch it and get angry/ support his opinions. The argument here is saying a show will get no viewers and is bad before its even come out is ludicrous and clearly failed to deliver what he predicted. Be my guest I'm happy without your feedback seeing as you've missed my point entirely.
Whereas I do agree that you shouldn't judge a book by the cover, and IF you are a "reviewer" or critic, you shouldn't be able to give an opinion on an entire movie or series just based on a trailer. Now, that sounds like a very logical view sure, maybe 10 or more years ago that would apply. Then we are where we are now, to say that Hollywood is isn't really knocking it out of the park lately is quite the understatement. I remember how HYPED I used to get for new trailers for movies and shows, but now? Man I haven't actually enjoyed anything from from Marvel since Endgame, and the first Season if Loki because that their first show to come out based in their "multi-verse" thing. Why is this show good IF it is though? I haven't watched it and most likely wont, I just think the whole magic/witch thing isn't interesting. But if it's actually a good show, what's good about it? Does it actually have GOOD writing, or is it just awful shlock like She-Hulk was? I mean if it ties up any big threads from the mess that the MCU storyline or anything? Just pointing out comments of people saying the show sucks, and then saying "nope chud I win" isn't a rebuttal, it's a lack of self awareness. I still haven't seen or heard anything whatsoever as to WHY this show is "good". I get it man, I'm tired and BORED of the "Star Wars is Dead" and "The MCU sucks" thing, I get it. I know. I was there ffs, I SAW IT DIE, time to move on. Ya may not like Drinker or Nerdrotic and their opinions may be annoying to you because ya may like it, but it's hard to say that they're wrong when literally the ONLY rebuttal is "Yer a RAHCIST!" or any other number of copout misnomers. I quit watching both of them because they're right, these IP's have been ran into the ground and are just not entertaining enough to validate the ticket/sub price to watch. So, I moved on. I don't need to hear that SW/MCU is trash a 100x per day, I know it is. And until someone can either prove HOW they are wrong, or Disney actually hires competent people again, the point they make is still on the scoreboard.
I'm glad you agree in the way that reviewing something without watching just isnt it. Yeah I am much the same, since Endgame ive had little interest in marvel except for Deadpool and Wolverine. I'm trying to use the drinkers trick of looking at user reviews to prove my opinion which I KNOW is stupid because thats what he did for the boys season 4, I'm using that to show how that isnt a way of reviewing and is nonsense. I've heard plenty of things on forums such as reddit and the imdb reviews. Its not hard to say or even prove them wrong without saying any of that, I think ive shown it quite clearly here. I agree Disney have not hit the mark of late but its never too late to turn it around
I see this fool here are maybe trolling for clout. This dud answer every comment here and that’s maybe the only clout he will ever get. This dud can mean anything he want, but the (majority) of comic fan have spoken. I admit the Agatha show from what I heard are decent. But the show needed to be Andor or Penguin good to get own right for quality.
I've had another 4-5 videos do similar views to this in the past 3 months so what's your point? So you've heard it's decent and still dont get the point of my video? I'm not saying its the best show of all time just making a review from a trailer alone and doing no follow up is just dumb, especially when the review in question said the show wouldn't have an audience.
Ever thought that it might not need a season 2 and they just wanted a stand alone series? It really wasn't a failure compared to quite a number of other marvel shows

Yes therefore it has an audience and someone who actually watches it, just because you think it's bad personally doesn't mean its bad overall you're just using what you deem good and bad to back up your points. She-Hulk was bad and was reviewed terribly but still had an audience. Before Iron man came to the big screen no one really enjoyed the comics all that much so that argument just doesn't cut it. Correct reviewing the trailer is not bad if you actually follow up and dont shoot the show down before a single episode has come out. It really isn't considering it has viewership similar to Loki season 2 which hardly flopped, you should look up the definition before coming out with these dumb statements
@@weightinglist it really isn't man. Loki was convoluted and literally knee-capped everything marvel was planning to do with Kang. I mean come on! If two loki's, one antman and wasp can take out two Kangs, he best not f with a state militia let alone the Earth's greatest champions. Wanda Vision literally was cruising off the vapors of End Game hype but it sucked. Everything has fallen flat and now, the good will from the pre-End Game days that have carried the flops since, is gone. Disney, and you it seems, will have to be proven wrong again. [EDIT: It's the stories that suck, not the characters.] I will come find you again when it is canceled. Until then, take care.
Who is this made for? Nobody care about Agatha 7 different titles. Majority of Comic book fan are dudes. Dudes don’t want to see 7 women and a boy who have less testosterone than the women show. Plus’s it’s a spin off show from a very mid show that had terrible moral compass. It would be different if this show was an absolutely banger like penguin who is also spin off of mid Batman movie.
There's plenty of women who like comics so I really dont get your point here. Stop trying to dictate what other men want just because it isnt what you want.
I said Majority of the people, if it was a lot women who love comic where was all the women when Marvels come out? Or do you wanna see the view rating to Agatha, secret invasion, echo, Hawkeye, she hulk where was all the women? Those show was clearly meant for them? But right the when a movie is about idk Deadpool and wolverine it easily crossed billion dollar
Dumb comparison, deadpool and wolverine was basically a guarenteed hit as soon as they got Hugh Jackman, pure nostalgia alone from the old X-Men films could have told you that. Im not even trying to say all those shows are good by the way, just trying to get people to think for themselves about things before jumping to an idiotic conclusion

are you THINKING about actually watching this show or what=??? you ve made 2 videos about it so far and are talking shit about better and more successful TH-camrs and making statements like "this show is actually well written"------------ nobody who has watched this, would ever think about saying anything close to this. It only serves as a proof of how broken the moral kompass of the creators is and nothing else.
Yes I'm considering it after how well it was received. I think quite a few people would say it actually, if you have a look round instead of staying in the mind set of Drinker said it's bad despite never watching it so therefore it must be.
@@weightinglist you do realize you have no position on the drinker about not watching this, if you havent done so yourself =? ^^ it was NOT well recieved-- when they say it was the best recieved show since X /insert timelapse or Show-reference/---that just means that it was the only show published since Show-reference or timelapse. They are not lying-- i can confidently say,, that you are the most handsome and intelligent man in the video above-- IMO if you want to write about this show,,, you should undergo the punishment of actually watching it!!!!
This was more of an ironic post to point out the stupidity of basing a review purely on user reviews as the drinker did with the boys season 4, why does that invalidate anything ive said but mean that everything he said about a show that wasn't even released is still fine? I said it myself if you actually listened that I was planning on watching it
Wow it's almost like the Drinker used user reviews to review the entire series of the boys season 4 despite the fact is had increased viewership and still hit the same ratings after the first 3 eps
Might not be good in your opinion but shows don't gain popularity for no reason at all, my point in this is that AAA has an audience like it or not and that makes the Drinkers video look dumb for jumping to conclusions without all the facts

So
- who was Agatha All Along made for?

Based on the figures you’re touting as being a success, 6.3% of Disney+ subscribers watched Agatha. That’s a terrible number. Based on the latest subscriber numbers.
That's still a decent number considering the huge number of shows on disney
@
But this is new.
@@weightinglist
There’s no need to get angry.
The show was crap, most of Marvel is
Yeah I dont really watch much MCU since endgame but even so, that doesn't mean the show didnt do well just because there isnt another season

The show was bad
Yeah definitely... not
Show is good I didn’t have much expectation but it didn’t look garbage.
Your right people don’t seem to think for themselves and just follow crowds like Sheeple.
Exactly its so frustrating to see people who haven't even watched a single episode say its a bad show
I like Critical Drinker, and I respect his opinion......for the most part, but I must admit I lost quite a bit of respect for him after watching his video slagging off The Boys season 4.

The marvels completely flopped though and all the reviews show it, this show is quite the opposite
Hahaha fair enough, I can't agree with everything you're saying here but "who was this made for" is a poor excuse for a "review" the story from what ive heard is well written and so I see no issue with the show, I'll watch it soon and do a follow up that likely no one will watch but oh well
so where is the announcement for for season 2 if the show was good?
Some shows don't need a second season to be good whats wrong with it being a standalone anyway
I used to find the critical drinker on point, but he kept saying “who is this for - 50 year old wine moms who like the occult (like that’s an insult)?” And I thought “hey, that’s me!” So I watched Agatha All Along and I really like it. Lesson learned. 😂

Wow, 2 minutes in you just start insulting everyone. I can't understand why you would have such a bad dislike ratio.
Yeah crazy really, shame everyone is engaging again isnt it.
Disney won't hire white men, even black men if they are not black enough. th-cam.com/video/n3nXIUfD3kc/w-d-xo.html
Yet these are the backbone of their audience.
Because making a review from a trailer is just a half arsed job and isn't good enough
@@weightinglist it happens all the time and the show was trash.
@@weightinglistthe show was weak as hell and no one cared about the characters smh
Hang in there. 🙂
These comments are hilarious. Good video👍
Hahah aren't they, appreciate the support!
Unoriginal cope
Unoriginal comment that argues nothing, see ya
Trump supporter here. i loved Agatha all along
uhh ok I guess?
The show did numbers that would get any show canceled,it it is a marvel show btw
Sorry dude,it was a failure and no one wanted
Ever thought that it might not need a season 2 and they just wanted a stand alone series? It really wasn't a failure compared to quite a number of other marvel shows
Okay is not a bad show, But Who Was This Made For?
Agatha is a nobody,
I can't see a flaw in "The Critical Drinker's" review of the trailer for Agatha All Along - it looks obvious flaw
So is actually a good show and got viewed, but Who Was This Made For and why should one watch it????
See the trailer for why you should watch it - now ???? and ????Who Was This Made For and why...
Who was this made for implies no one will watch it and that it'll perform poorly. If you can't see a flaw in reviewing a trailer alone and making a decision based purely off his video then you're clearly the target of my video. Stop blindly following everything The Critical Drinker says its making you look idiotic
@@weightinglist Implies no one will watch it, no there will always be somone watching it
there are 1000 BAD shows, movies and books with super good reviews and performance.
The trailer is Disneys info to you about the show, so if it is not good, the show will 90% be bad.
It is not about the performance of the show,
It is about who this was made for, a show about a background character no one is looking for?
I can't see form the trailer who this was made for?
Reviewing the trailer is not a flaw - not reviewing the show after can be a fllaw
making a decision based on the TRAILER alone is what the trailler is for - you only have 1 life, so is what you can see in the trailer is good enough to use your time on
go for it, bot if the trailer or Critical Drinker normal is good enough for you, no need for more time on this
Stop blindly attacking everything The Critical Drinker says its making you look idiotic
i'm going to se The Critical Drinker's review of Agatha All Along now...
If you base your entire opinion of a show from the trailer you're a moron, theres been numerous crap trailers for shows and movies that have been successful. Im firing back at the idiotic things hes chosen to do in a couple of his videos, its hardly a blind attack is it.
@@weightinglist yea bot who is the audience for this? random people? people who have no better things to do.
I don't think it's bad personally - have not watch it, the trailer i think is bad personally.
bot it is a review on the trailer not the show, so the point is the trailer not the show
She-hulk and Iron-Man is not background characters,
comic movies before Iron-Man people really enjoyed:
batman 1989 og returns - Tim Burton. with Michael Keaton,
Superman 1, 2 and 3 with Christopher Reeve
X-Men, Spider-Man, Ghost Rider, Blade and The Fantastic Four
Elektra, Daredevil, Hulk and The Punisher has a terrible reputation bot some enjoyed.
you base your opinion of the trailer to the show to see if you will use your time on it - you can not get back the time of the episode, so the trailer is what gives you the info on watch it or not.
yes if you base your entire opinion of a show from the trailer you're a moron
you base your opinion of the show form the show
and you base your opinion of watching the show form the trailer or waiting for people's opinion of the show(+3 episode)
and yea you're not blindly attacking The Critical Drinker you have point's, but not to who this was made for - an unknown audience? maybe hope someone will watch it?
i don't see "Old ladies" being the only audience - if it is why not make a show for more people? bad use of time.
So you call the drinker and idiot for reviewing a show he hasn't seen, yet you say all this on a show you haven't watched either?
Yes to parody the exact same thing he did for the boys season 4 where he reviewed it from user reviews so yes I stand by that.
Everybody knows who The Critical Drinker (Will Jordan) is. Who are you? It is a flop by all streaming metrics, genius.
[EDIT: It's the stories that suck, not the characters.]
I will come find you again when it is canceled. Until then, take care.
Critical drinker is irrelevant and not important!! Basically Republicans are his fan base I guess who will suffer in America soon 🤷🏾♂️💯
@@MikeBree 🤣😂🤣
You need check the viewing ship again. It’s not even close when it comes to Loki.
I don't hate anything except those curtains :P
not the curtains bro:(
I'd like my 10 minutes of my life back. If I see your channel name, your face on a thumbnail, or clickbait titles that remotely resemble this one - I'll know better next time. In the words of Oprah, "be better."
So sorry maybe you need to go watch someone make a slide show looped video about a show theyve never seen and then pass comments how it won't get any viewers. Then when it beats expectations everyone comes to comment on this with utter idiocy.
Agatha All Along sucked hard but not as hard as this video sucks.
Good one, bet you're another person who hasnt watched the show but listened to everything the drinker said
Yeh no thanks
Gg cry more
@ not crying I just know I’m not the target audience. No hate just not watching
Fair enough, respect it
are you THINKING about actually watching this show or what=??? you ve made 2 videos about it so far and are talking shit about better and more successful TH-camrs and making statements like "this show is actually well written"------------ nobody who has watched this, would ever think about saying anything close to this.
it was NOT well recieved-- when they say it was the best recieved show since X /insert timelapse or Show-reference/---that just means that it was the only show published since Show-reference or timelapse. They are not lying-- i can confidently say,, that you are the most handsome and intelligent man in the video above--
IMO if you want to write about this show,,, you should undergo the punishment of actually watching it!!!!
This was more of an ironic post to point out the stupidity of basing a review purely on user reviews as the drinker did with the boys season 4, why does that invalidate anything ive said but mean that everything he said about a show that wasn't even released is still fine? I said it myself if you actually listened that I was planning on watching it
It was shite
Bet you didn't watch a single episode
you take advice from the reviewers wow you must love every bit of woke garbage, they give the worse shows ever 10/10
Wow it's almost like the Drinker used user reviews to review the entire series of the boys season 4 despite the fact is had increased viewership and still hit the same ratings after the first 3 eps
You're woke.
You're clueless.
@@weightinglist you will never be as popular or as relevant as TCD so "GO AWAY NOW!"
@Crispy_Mofo_ Oh no that's so sad, I suppose you must have a huge channel?
Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good. See, the Transformers Bayverse.
Might not be good in your opinion but shows don't gain popularity for no reason at all, my point in this is that AAA has an audience like it or not and that makes the Drinkers video look dumb for jumping to conclusions without all the facts
