I understand that they aren't friends because he doesn't know them ect but it just felt like a way of him saying he doesn't like his fans and when they ask for him alone he thinks thats weird, except it doesn't make sense from such a big channel that has videos where its in his house. I dont understand why he wouldn't want to connect more with his audience though its very weird to me but I get what you mean

He also said lets get all these 4 to 100k views so what's your point, asking people to watch your stuff in one breath and saying "if you want" in another doesnt really make a difference. A lot of people in the comments also said why they stopped watching and instead of taking that on board he just criticised the fanbase for what they wanted.

The people who *like* the videos should watch them - and if the amount of people who like the videos are large enough to reach 100k, he'll continue making videos for this specific audience. But maybe there isn't that many people who still likes the videos. In which case, he'll stop making them. He is just using the views as a metric to gauge how many people still want those kinds of videos. And then he gave a heads up to the people who like the videos, but haven't gotten them from the algorithm. Maybe it's an insignificant amount of people, which is fine. He'll just stop making those videos. On the other hand, it might be a significant amount of people, which is _also_ fine. He'll just _continue_ making those videos. Whatever happens is fine. He's just double-checking the actual size of the audience who likes those videos, before he makes any final decision on it. ProZD might say some silly stuff once in a while, but I really don't see anything off here. Are you certain you're not imagining a problem here?

My problem is it just comes across as an ultimatum. "if we get these videos and all the lets trys in the future to 100k I can keep making them" just dont understand why its necessary to ask for views when hes already a big channel. Then trying to say that will show TH-cam that theyre good videos and show them to more people, thats the creators job to make them engaging not TH-cams job. He's using the view metric because money, if he doesn't hit 100k its probably costing too much per video but again not the fanbases problem so why even mention it

​@@weightinglist I believe that the problem here is the -algorithm-, not the creators or audience. The audience can easily decide what they want to watch, and if you threatened to stop creating videos I didn't enjoy, that means nothing to me. But if you were making videos that I enjoy that I want aware of because I hadn't had them suggested to me even while being subscribed to you, that's the issue. You're not suggested videos based on what you like, it's based on what you have watched -recently-. Watching 2 videos by the same Creator back to back is the easiest way to get a suggestion in the feed. It's unfortunate that the algorithm is what pushes a creators content in certain directions. But if the algorithm isn't suggesting your videos they will go unnoticed to new eyes. Emphasis on new. You can't hold any single person's attention or interest long enough to be able to survive on their request views alone. You need both old and new.

​@@weightinglistthe point is that, to be monetarily viable, they need to make a certain amount of money. ProZD determined that the threshhold for that was 100k views. So he says "hey, if the algorithm missed you on these, check them out. If these four videos meet the threshhold for making money off the time, effort, and expense, they will continue to be made". You're being a gross pedant by thinking he's a big channel begging for views. In fact, the reality is he is establishing what makes these videos viable. If people missed the videos, they get a chance to see them now. If they didn't, the series ends. Your video about this is a nothing burger. Pointless view farming.

I really don't see the difference between "go watch these now or ill stop making them" and begging for views its the same thing, linking all the videos in your description and saying that is just dumb, update wasn't needed. Yes if youtube stop recommending it maybe he should either listen to his fanbase or stop making them, telling people to check subscription feed isnt going to solve his problems. If you prefer those that's fair enough I cant argue about the thumbnails, just think in an already saturated market its best to try stand out if you're going to then complain about views or lack thereof

@weightinglist all im saying is that he used to get lots of views on lets try videos and now he's not, and one of those reasons is because youtube is sending it out to the people who are interested i.e. me. I was glad for the reminder because I thought he stopped tbh. This was specifically made for the audience who watches lets try videos and it did it's job imho. How he makes his videos is his business, he shouldn't have to cater to every single opinion that his audience has especially when it's videos that he wants to do. I watch him because it's homey and it seems like he enjoys making this content, but still i get that he wants to still get the views that he was getting before. I won't watch the videos if it just seems like he's peddling it out because he has to. And honestly that might be the case and if he stops making them because of that I'll be perfectly happy.

@charge202 yes he used to but sooner or later things die down that's just natural for series like that if you dont change anything or change it for the worse. If that helped you find the videos then fair enough it just didnt feel the right way to go about it in my opinion. It absolutely is until he starts complaining about the lack of views and takes no criticism about how the videos have changed, you can't complain people arent watching but then when criticised you just say nah I dont want to, its one or the other. That's fair enough but again if those dont get views you'll end up with another ultimatum of no one is watching so I quit these

@@charge202 I am on the other side of this, being one of the people who just don't care about his lets try videos. But there wasn't actually any problem with that. He clearly said that people like me should just continue on as we have, and continue *not* to watch them. He only wants people who _actually_ like the videos to watch. Even though I wasn't one of those people, it was still _very_ obvious to me that the video was intended for people like you, who hadn't noticed the recent lets try videos, but still enjoy watching them. I think the other person might just be having a bad day. He doesn't currently seem capable of realizing what ProZD actually said in the videos, and seems to be actively looking for a reason to be angry. Maybe he'll cool down later on and realize this video didn't make much sense 😅

I dont think they made it that obvious that she wasn't especially considering it was one of the driving factors for her revenge coupled with as you say her creation. Yeah I agree with that, it can be done right but this show couldn't make up its mind between her being too powerful and actually almost dying to the point where the final episode was just laughable

He judged the show before a single episode aired, same with how he reviewed the boys season 4 from user reviews on rotten tomatoes, just isn't a review its just a lazy attempt at a video. It really wasn't considering it had viewership similar to wandavision, meaning it had an audience, you guessed it!

If that's your opinion then I can't argue with it, the point of this video was trying to stop people judging a show entirely from a trailer. I'm glad you gave it a chance and you didn't like it thats fine, can't enjoy everything!

Hadn't thought of it from that perspective tbf, I understand what you're saying. I think my issue is coming from the fact that this season felt very light on actual games and to have a game recycled from the previous season whether its to mess with Gi Hun or not it still felt lacking imo. It does feel like the whole vibe was to let Gi Hun survive and humiliate him for ever trying to come back but again I just wish this wasn't half a season, if you get what I mean.

Is it not possible to be critical of characters and the way theyre written when reviewing a show or am I wrong? I brought up Thanos out of genuine curiosity more than anything, couldn't understand why no one ever acknowledged his English nor did they respoond to it in English

It is crazy though I think that's partially the point, £25 million is a lot of money but it is nowhere near enough to hire an entire special forces team and take down a presumably multi billion dollar organisation with 100s of armed guards who have no issue with following orders and dying for the cause.

I just think the russian roulette scene was unnecessary and fail to see why he would risk death after spending so much time trying to find the games again. As for the guy not stealing his money, they're already a criminal so it would stand to reason that their morals are skewed, criminals still exist in asian culture do they not? I concede on the 001 part or atleast some of it, I personally didn't like it but I understand why they did it the way they did. They aren't useless complaints because there shouldve been more to season 2 which was my whole issue with the series, instead of filling it with who's going to vote X or O they shouldve had more games and atleast got it closer to the finale.

I did mention him "shooting wardrobes" what I mean is, you can use a shooting range and be super accurate but in a real combat situation with adrenaline ect and no experience of that its unlikely he would be that accurate, if that makes sense

@ElzekoGD I understand there has to be a certain degree of fantasy with it being a show thats fictional otherwise anything could happen at any time, its the way in which it was written that I did not like. Gi Hun has never been shown to shoot or kill anyone on screen before so it doesn't make sense for him to suddenly be a ruthless killer. There's levels to it, John Wick you know he's going to survive complete nonsense but it makes sense given the continuity from previous films, with this it just didn't add up so I brought it up

I get what you mean that does make sense but the second they start shooting on the stairs in the end scene he's covering his ears like he hasnt had guns fired directly next to him all season haha. Yeah the firing the gun without even looking and wasting ammo does confirm abit what you're saying. I still felt like it was convenient to the plot so they survived into the next games though
