That or its the Minish/Picori at it again, hiding stuff in grass and pottery.
So how many other worlds are we up to in this series? The Still World, the Dark World, Lorule, the Twilight Realm... Hyrule's dimensional neighbourhood must be getting pretty crowded by now.
I like to think that Hyrule is just connected to a ton of different realms and the borders are really thin given the long history of magic shenanigans that have happened to it/evil sorcerers constantly trying to break through the barriers of reality to get at the Triforce/other magical powers
"how could the pots betray [me]?" You used pots against the ultimate pot-destroyer himself! Of course they didn't work. It's like throwing a snowball at Satan. (Possibly literally... If pots had mythology, Link would be the ultimate evil) :)
Any Zelda series amiibo works, but divided into three categories: Some version of Link, Some version of Zelda, & any other Zelda series amiibo. You can use up to one from each of those three categories per day.
Not sure if it would be called a very different Zelda game, because it feels like it is more a return to form of the pre-BotW games. Its cute, nostalgic and engaging. Only real concern have thus far is how busy the menus are going to get. Navigating them could become a chore the larger number of Echos you amass. It already a little scroll and this is only 2 hours in.
Personally, I look forward to the large amount of echos, lots of stuff to mess with when I get this game, plus I hear you can get enemy echos, which turns Zelda into a summoner character. Maybe one day they'll make a LoZ game where you are a goron, zora, rito, deku, or zonai (or at least bring back mask transformations like in Majora's Mask) without it being a "Hyrule Warriors" game, but until then, this seems interesting.
@@FightingFoodonsFan Was personally not a fan of the menus in BotW or TotK, so seeing their return is a negative for me. Zelda being a summoner is neat though and there with you on hoping we get to play as non Hylians.
@@Zept-01 something i have been liking is that you can select echoes from the "inventory" section so you dont have to scroll for a million years in the d pad menu
since you mentioned that the healing was slow, apparently you can jump out of the bed after you get the first half-heart back and jump right back in, and it lets you regen health at like double the speed, since the first half-heart comes after 2 seconds in bed compared to the normal .5 hearts/5 seconds rate. Hope this helps!
The tiltshift blur gave me a headache in Link's Awakening so I couldn't play it, and Nintendo games don't let you change graphics settings. So. Probably not gonna play this one. But that means I can watch this right away! It is a lot if fun to see the jumping and freedom, and the way they can do cool camera views and creative things in this style, now it's not a remake.
I also was immediately tempted to jump in the rift, lol X) Probably why they make it impossible to do. I still can't tell if the rifts are a deliberate Tunic nod or there's only so many ways to illustrate weird otherworldly rifts in space-time.
I'm really curious if they're going to get into the lore of the Triforce at all since Tri is clearly some kind of spirit of the Triforce or powered by it.
Honestly this game feels like it took some cues *from* Tunic, which is interesting given how obviously Zelda-like Tunic is. Very fun though! I'll enjoy watching this (I'm playing through the game myself, although I missed that Link had a BOMB button!)
You really just went and instantly forgot about that trampoline huh... I suppose it's to the game's credit that you could still manage to come up with alternative solutions, though of course not without a lot of struggling. By the way, wasn't there a button you could press to direct summoned monsters to attack a certain target instead of hoping they bumble into the things you need them to fight?
A noble enters your house and breaks your pottery, what are you to do?
Institute democracy! End hereditary rule!

@@FightingFoodonsFan hyrulean Pottery seems incredible but i'm still left with no money of food for my children so guillotine it is!
I like how every time Impa is in a game she has to be incredibly old bc if she isn't she'll do the whole general ninja master thing.
Now she's Yoda
Well, today I learned that you can rest in beds to restore hearts, despite being three dungeons in lol
I’m just going to say this is a lot of different game all at once.
Seeing you play another Zelda game AND hearing you have A Link Between Worlds coming Soon :tm: as well is a big hype moment for me.
There's like 8 hours of Link Between Worlds already on patreon, it's been very enjoyable!
Trampoline next to a well in suthorn village. Link comes from the Florida of Hyrule.
This game is making me have a new hyperfixationn I never thought I could indulge my wind waker nostalgia with a newer game

44:58 It's not a boulder, it's a rock! The pioneers used to ride these babies for miles
The slimes wiggle like cats when they're about to attack
Never change, Keith! I'll never get tired of you (or anyone) immediately forgetting mechanics!
I just need to share that I continue to misread "Suthorn" as "Sluthorn" every single time and it does make me die laughing without fail

It's pretty funny that Impa went from this young, swole bodyguard in Ocarina of Time to ever-tinier and more wizened old women XD
