Same. I’m completely blanking on what that button did in BotW and TotK, but fairly sure Keith is right, it was a main mechanic in those and were all suffering from muscle memory of that.
20:55 - Are those crystals bismuth or pyrite? 21:34 - Zelda making Solid Snake jealous with her stealth skills 23:05 - I guess the cloak has similar effects to the stone mask, it has some kind of magic that will cause others to not recognize you? 59:41 - That went from awesome to hilarious really fast 1:05:40 - Zelda is now Odin 1:08:44 - I love how Gerudo Desert makes geographic sense, where the shore cliffs create the rain shadow effect that blocks moisture 1:33:54 - That peahat is like a flying woodchipper, just cuts through everything in your path This feels like they mashed Link's Awakening up with Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom. Giving you a bunch of sandbox mechanics right away and pointing you in vague directions to check out.
Love that you really committed to making EVERY possible smoothie combination, haha. The smoothies are a nice, simplified version of the BOTW cooking system, but they do make potions almost completely useless, since the smoothies heal more, have other effects, and are only 10 rupees
28:19 Lueburry's house was stuck inside the rift,, So yeah, everyone who gets stuck inside the rift must see Tri 44:51 We love happy old marriaged couples!
I do think in most other games Link is implied to be speaking - you're often implied to be explaining things to people you meet, they just don't bother to give us his dialogue. But it is really interesting to have him canonically mute in this game. I'm further along in the game and I like how the basement decorations are a subtle foreshadowing of future abilities/items you get...
Lol, I solved these by stacking boxes on a 1/2 tile offset and switching to link mode back and forth to be able to jump higher. I totally did not pick up on the tutorial.
Someone else pointed out that they're similar, but not the same. One has an ō sound where the other has a short o. Dunno if that's the only difference.
Ok I just had a terrible idea for a smoothie based on ingredients I know existing from watching videos. Milk & golden egg, or even regular egg if it exists.
Have you considered that you came there before you activated something? Like how if you visit the rift before going to the house, it doesn't open a portal?
Huge tip for your summoned monsters. If you hold target lock they will attack it fast and more often than if you let them wonder around.
Robbie--I mean Lueburry's rubber moustache is oddly mesmerizing!
I am so glad I’m not the only one who keeps accidentally activating the sword form
SAME
ALL THE TIME. Wish they hadn't put it right next to the summon button

If you have smoothies you don't want, the vendor will buy them from you, even if they're unfortunate.
Keith: You minions suck, I’m going to do it myself!
Also Keith: Wait, I can’t hurt the mud caterpillar how hurt?

They're definitely Bismuth, it's the only thing with those spirally square patterns

Zelda 2: Adventure of Link had experience points.
53:50 spider-Zelda, spider-Zelda
1:16:00 Ya ha ha
Congrats on figuring out the spider wall-crawl, I completely forgot about the Bind/Follow ability until someone pointed it out, lol

I started using the Crawltula basically at the very end of the game. My go to technique for reaching higher levels was the Platboom all the time.
I also feel so bad when I summon a creature and it falls in the water and drowns.
Roberry is Robby's japanese name -> Lueburry

Yay yay Keith has another Zelda game yay yay ❤
I have to ask if you're able to grab enemies with pull bc the boss looked like someone you might have to yoink out of the ground
