Also, why? Zelda has been talking all this goddamn time, and now because she is the player character, we have the stupid "Everyone repeats what you just said because you didn't say it on screen" - trope. @@BaldorfBreakdowns Depends on the type of game, but yeah. For an First Person Shooter, framerate affects latency which has a cascading effect on basically everything else. For Zelda? No, not really.
Vinny sees the Desert Palace from ALTTP, says it's "reminiscent" of the place from ALTTP... it's literally the same place, kinda surprised that was your reaction to it. Edit : Ah there we go, the rocks to the east of all things tipped him over the edge. Remember, Hyrule changes, so it's kinda neat to see ALTTP's Hyrule in a state of change, where some things are instantly recognisable, but others are new, or slightly in the wrong place etc.
Ray tracing is only REALLY an advantage in super high fidelity, ultra realistic art styles. Otherwise, it just makes everything look like plastic models. And in a game that already looks like plastic models on purpose, it's not worth the extra RAM cycles.
today I ran into a glitch that removed the music. had to restart the game to fix it, but it's fine again. was a little bit of an experience to hear just the landscape and zelda's footsteps after hearing constant music.
@@yesterdayboy8885 mine happened after exiting luberry's house. maybe the game lags and the code for the music goes cattywumpus and stops working? idk.
I too sometimes get annoyed with the constant complaints of frame-rate, but having played it myself now I GET it. You get immersed in the game and then the visual discomfort takes you out of it and it sucks tm.
I feel very dumb, I've been attaching myself to flying tiles instead of riding them... Though, in my defense, I think I started using the technique in a cave, which I believe had low ceilings and thus wouldn't have been able to ride on top. On the other hand, I've been doing it for long enough I should have thought to hop on top.
This game is so much fun. Is it the best Zelda? I don't know, chat. But it's my favourite. No spoiler stuff past the first three dungeons, but what do we all think, even as it's new? I think early on, combat is awkward and a slog (mostly because many enemies take many hits to die, not the act of summoning and throwing or relying on enemies) but it evolves afterwards. The music, especially after the first town, is phenomenal. I've done two bosses so far, and I must say I absolutely loved the boss from rhe Zora section. It was challenging but rewarding once I knew how to do it quickly.
Making the sword a limited resource definitely makes you appreciate it more and take different approach to combat. I'm only two dungeons in, but I came across a level 3 Darknut while exploring. Took a few tries, but I was able to beat it and collect it's echo by throwing Bombfish at it and pushing it away with an Armos echo.
Wow I have not been using that attach power properly. Spider to climb walls is nuts! I've been meticulously building structures this whole time. But that's the beauty of this game

Frame rates are usually one of the least problematic problems in a game.
@@BaldorfBreakdowns Depends on the type of game, but yeah. For an First Person Shooter, framerate affects latency which has a cascading effect on basically everything else. For Zelda? No, not really.
A Vinesauce stream? At this time of year? At this time of day? In this part of the country? Localized entirely within my monitor?!
Yes
@@CyrusLagomMay I watch it?
@@ge0ne0 >.> ... No.
@@ge0ne0 No. (Twitch proceeds to drop frames)
after the stream reset, you can set chatreplay custom timing to -40 to get it roughly back in sync
A nintendo mode with difficulties options that ARENT just babby mode and slightly less babby mode? Incredible
Never played a Zelda Master Mode before, huh?
Wrong again chat
The Oracle games were the first top-down Zeldas to feature bombchus.
Finally the legend of Link
There was literally a shitty fan game in the early 2000s called The Legend of Smelda: Macarena of Time where you played as Stink
Sounds literally shitty
he's so wacky in this, so full of energy. Must've had his oats.
This game looks lush.
47:25 - Because every time they put a toilet in one of these games, some weirdo sticks their hand up it from the other end
Baked in lighting is SO MUCH BETTER then dynamic. Especially in cell shaded games like Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
Ray tracing is only REALLY an advantage in super high fidelity, ultra realistic art styles. Otherwise, it just makes everything look like plastic models. And in a game that already looks like plastic models on purpose, it's not worth the extra RAM cycles.
23:00 thanks johnny
I wonder what a demake of this game on the Game Boy Color would look like, in the style of the original Link's Awakening DX.
There is a lot more to this game than i was expecting
today I ran into a glitch that removed the music. had to restart the game to fix it, but it's fine again. was a little bit of an experience to hear just the landscape and zelda's footsteps after hearing constant music.
Exact same thing happened to me after going into the well in Castle Town. Made it feel like BOTW.
@@yesterdayboy8885 mine happened after exiting luberry's house. maybe the game lags and the code for the music goes cattywumpus and stops working? idk.
2:55:37 Awe damn, he didn't notice "Tornando" 😭
Yeah, I was like “somebody, PLEASE say something!”
@@familyfriendlymoniker8623 someone does point it out to him in a later stream
I swear the "-nando" part of that name HAS to be a reference back to him (and more specifically his cousin's friend)

(Link in the void): Hey! Well excuuuuuuuuse me princess.
There's actually a way to beat Link by walking in a circle around a wall until he loses you and then hitting him in the back

The short-lived Legend of Grilda
PEAK has arrived, thank you Malevolent
thanks, johnny.
I too sometimes get annoyed with the constant complaints of frame-rate, but having played it myself now I GET it. You get immersed in the game and then the visual discomfort takes you out of it and it sucks tm.
Well that was quick
"imposters? what an odd word"
When the impostor is sus!😳
This reminds me of the "Frozen Flame" RPG someone made in LBP2.

SAY THE LINE BINYOT
I love those Yoshi's Story-ass grapes
Chat directs Vinny with every spoiler and solution within 5 seconds
There were Bombchus in Oracle of Seasons/Ages, one of the powerups you had to use codes in both games.
got my snackies ready to go. LETS DOO THISSSSS!!!
I think they fly farther because Zelda is weightless with Reverse Bond.
i think oracle of ages and oracle of seasons had bombchu too
58:44 crap did Vinny ever referenced HLVR AI before? It's internet gold
'when the switch is truly dead' ah, after just dance 2032 then.
@@farfetchdideas695 L3 Darknut changes the entire feel of combat in the game after you get it. There's another Spoiler Monster that goes even further.
Am praying for a slide whistle appearance from Vinny.
Suthorn village OST reminds me of Dragon Quest music in some places.
Wow I have not been using that attach power properly. Spider to climb walls is nuts! I've been meticulously building structures this whole time. But that's the beauty of this game
The spider isn't always a viable solution but it's definitely better than trying to build staircases out of junk.
