Since summer is almost here (or was when I made this video), I decided to publish a mashup project that I made a couple of months ago. This is a mashup of the original version by Tom Cochrane and Rascal Flatts' cover. Enjoy!

Rascal Flatt's and Tom Cochrane's voices mixed and the instruments mixed make this perfect
I love how both background vocals are heard at the same time throughout the whole song.

To me, this sounds less like a band playing music. I can almost picture Gary and Tom cruising down the coast singing this at the top of their lungs together in an 82 F150 or a Chevy
Absolutely great mashup, recorded it to my phone and now I love playing it on my bluetooth speaker when I'm biking 4-6hr rides, definitely seems appropriate when on the shoulder of the road :)

Now I want a duet.
This is really well done, the only flaw is in the beginning, being the voice mixing. But seriously who gives a shit this has way too few views.
Thank you! I tried to keep both versions heard throughout the song, so that problem with the voice mixing at the beginning is inevitable because Tom is kinda quiet during the first verse.
Zack Dornfeld Tom's quiet voice isn't the issue; the timing and different rhythms of the vocals don't sync in certain places.
Still, good mashup!

Everytime I hear the main riff in the chorus, I kept on thinking adding in an extra riff that resembles the A-note-key, the E-note-key, and the B-note-key in a soft rock way, maybe.
I like Rascal Flatts better but this is really well done.
