Well, I've been doing international B2B worldwide for a very long time. Many JP businessman purchased goods from China and send to the Japan warehouse, so you might think its a Japanese product. Honestly, a lot of small products in Japan come from China. If you find any cool stuffs in Japan, go directly to the factories in China, you can find the same quality but cheaper.

Generally love your content - but this one was quite misleading (I get the Japan-o-philia, been doing business with Japan for decades). Maybe you have a stake in the success of this platform (explaining the incentive) but - to say that only 'some' of the products might not be made in Japan lacks the integrity your content is generally known for. Most of the products appear to be sourced from China - meaning - you're effectively paying more for Chinese goods - made to Chinese standards, imported into Japan - where Japanese import duties are applied, a provision/margin for the Japanese importer is then added, not to mention a further margin for the site - and that's your price. You're paying a Japanese intermediary, for goods from China, that you could import directly at a much lower cost. Most Japanese entities don't want to engage with foreign clients - for reasons you'd likely not want to cover in your videos so as not to alienate your viewer base. There are still restaurants and businesses in Japan today with signs "Japanese only" on them. Why Japan remains off limits in many ways to the rest of the world is a topic most would rather not discuss. Without doubt - Japanese quality is second to none (or second only to Japanese quality from decades passed), however - it's far from the clear-cut utopia of ethical practices, business standards, manufacturing quality, elegantly presented here. Sourcing genuine goods from Japan - requires going there - forming lasting relationships (that require months, if not years, to cement), and above all else - demonstrating your 'worthiness' of that relationship, rather than pulling out your credit card, and a platform that offers (mostly?) Chinese made goods, under the flag of "sourced from Japan".

For imports, customers may be subject to import tariffs, additional related expenses, and procedures. Depending on the situation, customers may need to contact carriers or customs to complete the import clearance. Japan is strict about product quality and purchasing from overseas can be difficult. If you are looking for high quality and unique products from other wholesale market, Japan is a good choice. In addition to that, Korea also has a fashion jewelry wholesale market, which is more diverse and of better quality than China.

Back in the mid-20th century Japan was originally known for poor quality product and then they started losing respect and market share worldwide, and they changed and never went back. If they are also somehow managing to get Chinese products that live up to their standards and then resell those, then I would say it's worth it because they're doing the leg work for us. The hardest part is knowing just how terribly Chinese companies treat their employees, or their nearly or actual slave laborers.
Thank you for this content. I've been trying to get away from Chinese goods as much as possible. The toxicity in their material is getting higher and higher. I like that there are alternatives
It's a shame they won't entertain drop shipping. It seems suitable if your store is a brick & mortar and you have physical storage. Otherwise for international online stores you would have to store and re-ship yourself, so there's inventory cost and storage cost, which are not on the table for drop-shipping. Doesn't seem to be ideal if you're not a brick & mortar shop.

Thx, I'm currently not importing products, but planning for the future. Great content, thanks a lot. And the fact that China's moral compass is kinda off these days, makes a good or even better alternative even more important.
If morals are your concern, boycott American and Israeli goods
I love Japan products and their food
I am a freight forwarder from China. If you want to import from China, you can designate us to provide you with full freight services, which will reduce more costs.
The only issue is the shipping cost from Japan... Very hard to find those easy and quick shipping agency as China
What a very interesting video. Great presentation. Certainly worth looking into. Thanks for the heads up. I live in the U.K and it looks like they would send / work with the U.K market
Glad it was helpful!
It’s China junk being sold through Japan suppliers. Do your research.
Checked the SuperDelivery, thanks for sharing. Just a quick question. I found this info about the import and duties on the webpage. Do we need to hire a shipping broker when buying from JP and send it to the US to help us clear the shipment, or are they taking care of that and sending it directly to our warehouse? Are they sending by any chance straight to FBA?
"Customs clearance procedures for exports are handled by SUPER DELIVERY-arranged carriers.
For imports, customers may be subject to import tariffs, additional related expenses, and procedures.
Depending on the situation, customers may need to contact carriers or customs to complete the import clearance.
If payment or procedures during import customs clearance are not completed, or if local customs/carriers consider the parcels invalid or undeliverable, the parcels may be held, returned, or discarded. Customers may also be responsible for any associated costs in these cases.
Regarding the above, please note that SUPER DELIVERY will not be held responsible. Thank you in advance for your understanding."
I believe you I bought a 2009 honda stepwgn many years ago and it was like that car was from the future. I wonder what 2024 one would be like!🤔
Arigato! (Thank you) from Japan:)
very detailed and helpful info - Thank You! I've been thinking of starting an online business but don't want to source from China, so this video came at the right time for me.
hi! Are you planning on becoming an Amazon seller? I can help you!
Japan has run into the same high labor cost issues there as here in the U.S. and a lot of their manufacturing for what has traditionally been known as quality made in Japan products is also being farmed out to China and Vietnam rather than still being manufactured in Japan as in the past.
Thank you for the info.
Great Video! So happy it came up on my screen. I am looking to start an online business and I agree, the quality is far better than most. I would be honored to find a product or two and support Japanese business. Arigato!
if you're planning on becoming an Amazon seller, I can help you
I have heard of Importing from japan, Idk about as a business but i know as a Individual those independent company's that ship from japan to America are EXTREMELY EXSPENSIVE.
Japanese products are synonymous with superior quality. I have always loved their products 😊
Thanks I've been looking for something like this for my tea company. Now I just need a way to get in touch with tea growers in Japan. I am skeptical about organic teas from China.
It’s China junk being sold through Japan suppliers. Do your research.
Japan store here in the Philippines has Japanese brands but made in China. I think it's expensive to buy authentic Japanese brands here in the Philippines and they still import to China because not all items are bad.
As an indian many people are going to china, but i wish if Japan comes i will definitely support japan.
I LOVE products from JAPAN😊. The tea set that I purchased is my favorite😊😊😊😊
What’s even more amazing is bro didn’t blink for like 20 mins
😂😂
He blinks when you blink that’s why we never see him do it
Arigato(Thank you) from Japan:)
great info..! thank you. Would it be possible drop shipping with them?
some companies have on their page where they manufacture their product from which is from china. What would be the benifate of using Japan ?
Superior quality control.
Yes! Made in China. Sold by Japan distributors! Very misleading video!
I love Japanese products! I have to setup my online store right away.
I’m on board for that! ❤
Is there a link Japanese tech companies too. I’ve been looking for something like this. Thank you.
I love quality control in everything. Got to be type A personality on everything.
I forget the year and individual who tried to introduce QA to the US manufacturers. But US declined. Japan invited him to come there. They approved of his ideas.
Japan is strict about product quality and purchasing from overseas can be difficult. If you are looking for high quality and unique products from other wholesale market, Japan is a good choice.
In addition to that, Korea also has a fashion jewelry wholesale market, which is more diverse and of better quality than China.
Do the items say they are "Made in Japan" ?
One man's junk is another man's gold.
How can we do this business between Japan and Africa?
well , that is not for everybody and is not the same like Aliexpress . I have only an online store and they are asking me to summit a picture of outside of the building of my store. Aliexpress does not ask for that, you just make an account and start shopping.
Is Super Delivery also available in the Philippines? Sorry for the newbie question… I’m contemplating on having an online business…. I dont want to source my items from China…. Thanks for the informative channel.
Love your content very informative. But wild they accept if you have a retail store not an online business?
Japan is great and their products are very very good.
It’s China. Junk being sold thru Japan suppliers. Do you research.
NEWS BREAK…Lots of Japanese products are also made in China 😂
This makes a lot of sense, buying from Japan instead of China....China products suck... I have an older 2005 guitar from epiphone called an Elitist Les Paul... made in Japan in the matsomuko factory ... it's better than a real Gibson Les Paul from usa...I will be getting started with this re selling soon, so glad I found your video.
But the prices are too high just I saw in the website
Thank you sir! This is very helpful I've been wasting money on Alibaba
I have a stationary business and LOVE Japanese Stationary, pen, pencils and note pads.
I made a DHL Express delivery and payed in Japan, but in Germany again... very very expensive delivery for Keyboard parts where 50 % of the stuff was no included, like i ordered.
Have no business, but looking for personal use, can you suggest a business?
How do I get started?
Thank you !
Great video and information. Would you know of any companies where I could dropship from Japan? Thank you.
Can they make custom products?
Great video, too bad some of the products listed in Superdelivery are made in China and not Japan
Any recommendations on requesting custom items, sourcing agents in Japan, etc.?
Thank you for this content. I've been trying to get away from Chinese goods as much as possible. The toxicity in their material is getting higher and higher. I like that there are alternatives
Yes, but import taxes.
Wait, so you have to have a website to sign up for Super Delivery?
What about a good website for consumers?
It's a shame they won't entertain drop shipping. It seems suitable if your store is a brick & mortar and you have physical storage. Otherwise for international online stores you would have to store and re-ship yourself, so there's inventory cost and storage cost, which are not on the table for drop-shipping. Doesn't seem to be ideal if you're not a brick & mortar shop.
And I'm 100% sure the products are from China anyway lol😊
CANADA MAKES GREAT PRODUCT SO DOES MEXICO, BUT THEY CHARGE ALMOST AS USA, A FRACTIONAL PRICE CHEAPER. JAPAN IS OFFERING GREAT QUALITY AND CONSITANCY, MY DAD LOVED JAPANESE PRODUCTS HE WAS AUDIOFILE
Well... I wanted to browse the site & see what all they offered & the prices to see if it's something I might be into starting. But having to have an established biz already makes things a lot harder :-/
Question, would someone in Japan be able to order and have shipped to their own home in Japan and or anywhere else for that matter?
I buy my stationary from Japan!! Not only they have the coolest stationary but it’s better quality!!!
