The actually Loopy help site has "TODO" in the "Getting Started" section, followed by some arcane information about something called "midi bindings." It makes sense to aim at the serious punter, but the newbie can be left in the dust. Your explanation and demonstration was really a gift. And the background, a green towel, was a brilliant and simple solution. Not to mention that in the reflection you are easy on the eyes.

Sometimes I open an old session and the tempo has completely changed.....adjusting it doesnt help. I wonder what settings I should change. I want no syncing. A loop can be a sample or have a completely different tempo. So help, please advice...

If you want to import loops from other apps (e.g. AudioShare) then there is an easy way - just use the „open in“ function and the loop will show up in Loopy immediately
Elina Baker nope! You can adjust how many tracks populate on the screen with the settings tab... just checked and it has options to show 6, 8, 9 or 12 tracks on the screen to use.
The recording itself couldn‘t be worked on in Loopy - but you can share this with other apps like e.g. AudioShare were you can normalize it or export ir to a DAW like Cubasis to work on it

I am having a hard time recording drum loops from a speaker. When I tap the circle to stop the loop I get a "clunk" type of sound and the loop is ruined. Any ideas?
