The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, created and developed by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. In terms of overall tone and style, the series is based principally on the Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and John Romita Sr. era of The Amazing Spider-Man comic books, with a similar balance of action, drama, and comedy as well as a high school setting. However, it also tends to blend material from all eras of the comic's run-up to that point in addition to other sources such as the Ultimate Spider-Man comics by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, as well as Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film series.

I love how you can hear the pain in ock's voice. That plan was to be his magnum opus, and it all crumbled to dust

I love the Spectacular Spider-Man. Unfortunately, the Idiots at Disney are too "Woke" to make Season 3 happen for the series.

That's not what woke means, they have to deal with legal issues not social issues

Legal issues between Sony owning rights to the show and Disney owning Marvel prevent this show from returning outside of cameo appearances within Sony's own work (Spider-Verse). I could be wrong about this, but I think some people claim that Sony can bring the show back, but the episodes have to be longer than your standard 20-30 minutes, which is something that most production companies don't want to invest in when the product is animation.
If you are scared that if this show does return and becomes "Woke", this is all dependent on your definition of "Woke". If it's like a scenario where there's poorly written character(s) make constant appearances for long periods and the only trait they have is that they are not a man, they are this sex, religion, or race and they want people to notice this in a rather blunt way, then yeah, that is bad. If it's more of having the presence of minor or background character(s) that are this race, sex, gender, religion, or a scenario where one of the female characters (Gwen, MJ, Liz, Betty, etc.) gets out of a problem involving a criminal or supervillain is threatening them and they hit or flip them to get out of becoming a damsel, well then sucks to be you.
The mere presence of diversity doesn't and shouldn't make something immediately "woke". In fact, it helps normalize the idea that people who are gay, lesbian, Jewish, Hindu, female, non-binary, black, or Hispanic exist in the present world (And since the setting is in New York City, they definitely exist). When something is "woke", it's because the writers are unnecessarily going too far with getting viewers to notice these types of people or social ills and it ends up derailing the narrative and other important characters in the present story.
