    Extreme, Ultra, Mega Minimalist Home Tour... However we want to define or quantify the severity or extent of minimalism and how minimalist we are, I really want everyone to know Minimalist creators are at the mercy of the TH-cam searchable terms gods. I really don't want to put EXTREME MINIMALISM on all my video titles. Yet it's the only thing that seems to achieve a good CTR.
    Since uploading my recent extreme minimalist home tour I got my decluttering head on yet again, lol... Thinking about how practical and useful some of my choices really were. I've been at the declutter activities again. So in this video I am going to show via a walkthrough home tour, what I have decluttered. Therefore, everything I own currently, but also what I plan to declutter to create an even more clutter free living space in the upcoming weeks. To make our minimalist shared home even more calm, peaceful and intentional.

    Your place looks great. ❤
    Sometimes I wonder why do we feel that we need so many things. We watch someone on TH-cam and think🤔 “hmmm that would be so beautiful in my home.” So we go out and buy it, and for awhile we love it, but then something else catches our attention, and off we go to gather more. It becomes an endless cycle of buy, buy, buy. It’s really exhausting keeping up with what’s current.
    You are leading the way in living with what works for you regardless of what’s current in decor, etc. Thank you for your endless inspiration. ❤❤❤

    awesome. never thought to question the clothing rail before - everything folded in box - and also your practice of not just chucking out things too fast. i have an in- bag instead of an in-tray, holdall sized. it's what i call flu proof / and you can even put a whole item in there like if you had a boxed iitem you needed to return to a shop etc. it wasn't my own idea.

      I know 🤦‍♀️ it was tassimo on my first ever home tour as that was a gift. But I didn’t like the plastic pods. Albeit they were recyclable. Then I decided I wanted a real espresso coffee machine (the green one) but I learned having to grind my own beans wasn’t always practical and my partner hated it as you also had to do your own milk. 😂. So then I got the steel Nespresso with built in frother. Sadly this needed constantly cleaning to not get blocked. It was quite expensive too. So we decided to sell it and downgrade. For no future problems with the frother 😂 🤦‍♀️ ❤️ I think I’ve finally learnt what my partner and I both need. That is also practical 😂.

    I’ve lived in places with old stainless steel sinks before and I’ve managed to remove stains or that dullness with either Barkeepers Friend or Bon Ami, or Gumption (which is Australia”s version of The Pink Stuff, I think) so if it bothers you, you could try those. I think you do amazingly well in such a small place!

      I think then we’d still have the same problem of where to put the pencil case 😂 Also we seem to just grab one marker out at a time to either go to the post office with or my partner takes to work to mark things up with. So it’s efficient, if some what unsightly to have it by the door 🚪 😂 Maybe he could keep the pencil case in his work van 😂 and I could just have one pen 🖊️ 😂

    Slow down with the 'decluttering'. It feels forceful now.
    If you give up the 2 cushions on the sofa and then the rugs, you'll be suffering greater anxiety, about 'what next?'. Would it be the sofa or the table to go?
    Extreme decluttering can be as equally addictive as hoarding. You get a temporary release and then the anxiety builds up again.
    The sparse furnishings / belongings aren't the cause of your anxiety - there is a deeper root cause.

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I don’t know whether you missed the part where I said we are preparing to leave? So we are doing this now so we have less to get rid of later. I also, as a personal experiment am actually enjoying just living super minimally in the time before we leave. However, I would never declutter something I genuinely thought we used regularly, needed or enjoyed. I am simply trying to make our lives easier when we come to move/ travel. Also I’ve never said I currently have anxiety. I said in the past I’ve suffered from anxiety, as in a long time ago. I think that what you have said has made many assumptions even if it has come from a place of concern, which is actually quite lovely. What you have said may be true for some exceptions but we can’t presume to know other people’s mindsets. Especially when a rationale has been given as to why someone is decluttering more in a shorter amount of time than normal 😊 Also I did say the table & sofa would not go as I also respect my partners wishes to keep certain items too. I quite like a sofa myself 🛋️ 😊

    Have you considered some things... Using coffee capsules, not minimalistic or good for the environment.
    In the bathroom, using mouthwash - be careful, most of them contain dangerous stuff, even toothpaste

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I did this whole video linked below about my coffee journey in detail. I don’t live alone so that’s a point also. But so too is that I only use aluminium pods that are 100% recycled with the pod back scheme. Actually less waste than some ground coffee bags for instance. But my choices I set out in detail in this video below. I don’t use the mouth wash that often but it is a medicated one that my partner has to use as he has a gum problem at the moment. Our toothpaste on the other hand we experiment with. But I nearly always use an eco conscious and clean brand. I’ve used neem powder. Dr bronners. Tooth tab tablets. Waken aluminium tube toothpaste. To name a few. So yes I live an intentional sustainable lifestyle and non of my choices are without consideration 😊

    • @SagelifeMinimalism
      @SagelifeMinimalism  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yes because our home is very very dark and doesn’t face sunlight. It’s also very small so to give the illusion of more space we have mirrors… it’s an interior design hack. Also it makes it lighter for filming without me needing any lights, ring lights etc. Which I think are much more unsightly and get in the way more standing on the floor. Than having mirrors on the wall 😊 🪞
