The brown striped catfish was a big bumblebee catfish, the silver diamond-shaped fish are called monodactylus, or monos, and the dolphin fish is indeed called an african or freshwater dolphin fish, native to the great african lakes, they are predatory and electric, grow around 60 cm, and are relatives of the black ghost knifefish & elephant fish

Good to see you again❤ That fish you caught that looks like a dolphin is actually a Freshwater Dolphin Fish. They are very rare. Nice catch! Another great video ❤
I'd be willing to bet this guy is dumping fish in the sewer for content. The biggest red flag for me was when he said "We caught axolotls in here". Axolotls are practically extinct in the wild minus one or two lakes in Mexico. So they were 1000% dumped there. Can't say for sure that he's the one who dumped them but its awfully suspicious. Basically any video you see online of people "catching axolotls in the wild" is bullshit because they're critically endangered in the wild. (Although we have a strong captive population) and people do it constantly for content. It's inhumane and quite frankly I'm not even sure they could survive in that water long. Not to mention all the other fish in there that would never be found in the same place and don't even req the same conditions. Many of these fish are warm water species. There's no chance that water is warm
The fish that you called Dolphins are actually Mormyrus. They are mildly electric for; finding food, navigation and communication with other electric fish.... And that is literally all I know about it.
The “dolphin fish” is actually just called the freshwater dolphin fish and they are rare, they use electric shocks to navigate and hunt, and they (as far as I know) are apparently found in Africa. And they’re pretty rare

That's a mormyrus! They are from Africa I think, and yes they are Electric to help navigation - hopefully that won't cause an issue in a tank. Good find!
Thanks for the names. I enjoyed reading about the Fresh Water Dolphin Fish. It is obvious that this is what they are after reading about them. The pictures I saw were exactly the same as the ones he caught and it mentioned about how they use electrical pulses to navigate. Very awesome rare fish!

"The freshwater dolphin is known for its intelligence, curiosity, and outgoing nature. Keepers report that the fish plays with toys and learns tricks. Because of its electrical impulses, it can give a mild electric shock when caught." After reading that, I want to now see it play with toys lol
I did a quick search, so I don't know exactly what species the dolphins were, but they are called mormyrus (also known as the freshwater dolphin fish). They were shocking you as they are weakly electric and will use that to find prey and also as a defense mechanism. I hope this helped! Also, the little triangle-shaped fish may be some Monodacylus argenteus fish. I am sorry I only found you a few months ago. I am going to a university to be a marine biologist, and just watching your videos of these fish that I don't see daily intrigues me even more and makes it so that I can't wait to graduate and be able to look at all sorts of fish like you do and figure out what they are. Thank you for doing what you do, and I wish I had all the fish and fish experience you do!
My husband and I have two saltwater tanks and we have a yellow watchman goby and he is one of my favorite fish. Well he and my valentini puffer fish . so much personality and sass and they're soo tiny. I'm about to cycle another tank so I can get two gobies or dragonets (maybe a mandarin since we have so many isopods and copepods in our refugiums) and maybe get the gobies some pistol shrimp. Maybe. I also want another dwarf puffer and need to research on if they would be compatible with puffers. there is just so many awesome fish and little creatures
Hey, I really like your videos and I subscribed to you. There's a lake near my house and we noticed a lot of dead fish in there and there are really big ones. I was wondering maybe you can save the rest of them there or maybe you can find out why they are dying. We would really appreciate if you can.
This is definitely NOT what I was looking for, yet here I am at the end wondering why I just watched this whole video 😂 You did well to keep me here lol
As a person who lives in Florida and catches those dolphin looking things i can confirm those are Mormyrus i catch them alot that i learned what they were Mormyrus is a genus of ray-finned fish in the family Mormyridae. They are weakly electric, enabling them to navigate, to find their prey, and to communicate with other electric fish.[ females carry 1,000 to 900 eggs and will give mild shocks when caught also Bernhard's elephant-snout fish (Mormyrus bernhardi) is a species of ray-finned fish in the family Mormyridae. Lmao he’s the one who put them there in the first place in order to generate views. Try not to take things you see on the internet at face value.
@@tylerdaniel3311 even if he did the catfish are still cute 😸
This is by far the coolest haul ever! So much variety! These sewers are insane!!!
You are my favorite channel
That's a mormyrus! They are from Africa I think, and yes they are Electric to help navigation - hopefully that won't cause an issue in a tank. Good find!
From what I've read, they are hyper-aggressive. Just keep them isolated from others, just in case
The mysterious catfish you guys caught was a “Leopard Catfish” and the dolphin looking ones were “Fresh Water Dolphin Fish” I hope that helped!
Sorry you wrong its a bottle nose
Thanks for the names. I enjoyed reading about the Fresh Water Dolphin Fish. It is obvious that this is what they are after reading about them. The pictures I saw were exactly the same as the ones he caught and it mentioned about how they use electrical pulses to navigate. Very awesome rare fish!
@@abeldu-pont5393no it's not
@@abeldu-pont5393 he isn’t
What no is not a bottle nose because it is a Freshwater dolphin FISH! And yes it is a fresh water dolphin fish a it is very rare
Bobby mate can you please keep us informed on your health battles. We all love and care about you. Ìm homeless but I still worry about you my friend.
Just came across your comment, keep your head high..Hope everything falls into place for you mate.
I hope your goes life together like puzzle with all its pieces: very good mate
If you're homeless then please don't worry about the rude and cruel people of the world because they are just vile . And that's just who they are and your not may god bless you and whoever reads this comment
"The freshwater dolphin is known for its intelligence, curiosity, and outgoing nature. Keepers report that the fish plays with toys and learns tricks. Because of its electrical impulses, it can give a mild electric shock when caught."
After reading that, I want to now see it play with toys lol
🐠 thank you for saving the fish❤️
I enjoy watching your videos so much! Good work man, keep it up!
It’s so good to see you back and as enjoyable as ever x
Alsways so excited to see a new upload from him. He is always super entertaining. Wish there were more channels like him.
I used to keep monos and and those little triangular guys looked just like them.
I like your videos because you save animals
It's pretty amazing that there's so many variety of exotic. Aquatic animals in that sewer. Makes for a fun video.
THAT IS SO ADORABLE 11:15
agree with U
Omfg man enough 🤦🏾♂️🙏🏿
You are something else lol

Mystery fish at 3:20 is not an eel. This is a Prehistoric Dragon Goby. They do best in brackish water setups. These are some of my favorites!
For those who see this comment and don't know what brackish water means it means a salt and fresh water mixture.
We would really appreciate if you can.
these videos are absolutely spectacular and i love the enthusiasm, keep it up man!!
(p.s. love the oscars)
This is definitely NOT what I was looking for, yet here I am at the end wondering why I just watched this whole video 😂
You did well to keep me here lol
His enthusiasm is contagious. I wasn't looking for this, either, but here I am 3 videos into his channel. LOL
That sewer really is mysterious!
Good job on 1st comment! also love your work BFP!
It is endemic to Athi-Galana-Sabaki River, Kenya; it is threatened by fishing
But you did catch an an angelfish they’re beautiful and that’s what you caught. I’m a fish expert but I’m also his granddaughter and I’m obsessed with your videos. Love you.
What?
google transilate?
he aint that old
He’s not that old
I can't stop binging your videos, I even workout to them cause I don't want to stop watching 😂
IMO - They all look like they were all dropped 1 by 1 right from an aquarium and picked up 1 by 1. Impossible to see these many varieties all in a place and everytime a different one. :D
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
its sad. and its even sadder no one realizes it! he is just abusing fish by throwing them in these conditions.
@@JL_fishing YES. FINNALLY PEOPLE ARE TALKING ABOUT THIS! IVE BEEN PROTESTING ABOUT THIS FOR A WHILE!
@@lfhnsn I’ve known this for years as well lmao. You don’t just find fish like that in Florida, I live here and actively look for fish like that all the time. You can’t just find them like that 😂
There's also the fact he's mixing fish/a salamander with fish he didn't get from there and doesn't mind intoxicating them.. why not just put them all in quarantine now he has his original pond he has to fully treat. A quarantine pond. The tanks along with a tank with other fish he didn't get from the sewers.. would like to see follow ups of all these fish and from other videos as well they seem to find. Just to see if they survived or died or if he just sold/got rid of them..
Congrats on 2m
I did some investigating and I found out that that is a freshwater dolphin fish, which is really rare! Keep up the amazing work 😊
Well according to google lens they are Cornish jacks so I do not know who is right here
And Bobby also mentioned that they shocked him fresh water dolphins don't shock people but Cornish Jacks do so I am right
And I am right dolphins don't shock people Cornish jacks do
Nobody cares if ur right or not kid.

This is so amazing, how many different species did you find? Bobby this is probably your best haul of exotic fish that I have ever seen. WTG man!

It's not a dolphin it's click bait .....
Yes do a par 3 please!!!!!!!!!!😉
I had no idea there could be such beautiful, colorful fish in a sewer, of all places.

I know right. How the hell.....are they ending up in the sewer? People flushing them? Definitely need a bigger bucket with an air stone!
Ya think so, Fabian? Putting fish into sh** water?????? The smell would kill me.
